  1. Since it came up. I haven't really watched since the Fox deal started. I watched that season premiere Raw and once I realized that they had no intention of delivering Rollins/Mysterio, I noped out on their programming unless I had to watch something for podcasting purposes. There's just too much to do in life that I don't hate. As for the talent releases. It's really shitty timing and they shouldn't have done it but they were long overdue for a culling and I think you were going to see a mass release like this at some point this year or next. You just can't have 200+ guys on roster and be throwing 500k at people that do nothing for your bottom line. They absolutely should have taken the beating and kept people on until they had ways of making money via wrestling though. Smaller companies like AEW and RoH are paying people so they should be able to as well.
  2. You have to sign Mike Bennett to get Maria and no one wants that.
  3. She was the victim of poor timing I think. I think they were just about to start pushing her big when she had a long term injury.
  4. He's the one release that I think AEW will pay a big contract to and will be a real difference maker for them.
  5. Yes and no. They have massively ramped up testing and continue to do so but that doesn't mean the tests would be readily available for WWE. It's kind of a matter of getting the antibody test though because so many people never develop symptoms.
  6. This week we're running a tag team tournament. 16 teams enter and only 1 can be the winner.
  7. Still around and same email address. I think it's about 6 a disc these days.
  8. At one point Gargano was one of my favorite guys to watch. Now I find him so tedious that it's almost impossible to find any enjoyment of anything he does. That first Almas/Ciampa match ruined him and also NXT. They have been chasing that dragon ever since and it's just ruined the promotion.
  9. It's our 100th episode and we're taking a look at the 100th episode of WCW Monday Nitro.
  10. This week we determine the bet hoss in pro wrestling via a 16 wrestler tournament.
  11. St. Louis Wrestling Club: 3/29/1985 live from St. Louis, MO Results: Phil Hickerson defeated Jose Lothario at 8:22 Missouri Heavyweight Title Tournament Semi-Finals: Randy Savage defeated Butch Reed at 19:47 Barry Windham defeated Hacksaw Jim Duggan at 11:23 Jay and Mark Youngblood defeated the Moondogs by DQ at 10:49 NWA North American Tag Team Title Match: Fabulous Ones (c) defeated Lance and Mike Von Erich at 14:08 Missouri Heavyweight Title Tournament Final: Randy Savage defeated Barry Windham at 21:09 to become the 1st Missouri Heavyweight Champion Killer Khan defeated Nick Kiniski at 2:01 Main Event: NWA World Heavyweight Title Match: Terry Funk defeated Magnum TA (c) by count out at 24:37 after piledriving TA on the cement floor Angle Developments: Bobo Brazil was in attendance and presented Randy Savage with the Missouri Heavyweight Title belt after the main event. Savage took the belt and got in Bobo's face afterwards. Bobo went to walk away and Savage had more words and then shoved Bobo. Bobo shoved Savage back and they stared each other down for a really long time. Security hit the ring and kept the two men apart as they continued the stare down. The Fabulous Ones picked up the victory over the Von Erichs when Stan Lane used a cane on Mike Von Erich. After the match the Fabulous Ones put a beating on the Von Erichs for good measure. Terry Funk got on the house mic after the main event and pointed at the injured Magnum TA and told the fans in attendance to clap for their World Champion. Funk told Magnum that this match was just a warning. He is going to take that title but he wants Magnum TA to live with the fear and uncertainty of when that loss will be. It was announced that Wrestling at the Chase will be starting on TV this coming week.
  12. This week we're taking a look at the debut episode of Monday Night Raw.
  13. I agree the Omega match is where he put it all together. It's where he stopped trying to be cute and funny and just embraced being a total dickbag heel. I think a lot of that is getting out of WWE and not having to exist within their restraints.
  14. Yeah. That seems like a beehive that you don't want to kick. All it takes is one person on one show to spread it and it could ruin more than that single company.
  15. Borderlands 3 just hit Steam.
  16. Yeah, we got back from Florida right before it went absolutely crazy. Someone from my wife's work is stuck in Germany currently.
  17. Wednesday will probably be my last day in office for awhile. It's up to us here if we work from home or go into the office.
  18. I think the problem they are going to have is I don't think the city or state will cancel the show. They are just going to tell them no spectators and they need under a certain amount of people in the building. I know Vince is probably trying to get money out of insurance but I think they are going to have to make the call themselves.
  19. Have they closed the schools there yet? Everything here got closed for 3 weeks and I imagine it will be for longer.
  20. I'm thinking a lot of states will end up following Ohio's lead on some of their measures. In Ohio, they have banned any gathering of more than 100 people to try and slow the spread. I could see that happening or Florida not cancelling the event and just banning spectators from the arena.
  21. Sounds like the NHL is considering. I know Ohio is about to start banning large gatherings.
  22. The Lapsed Fan series on World Class really hits home what a complete and utter scumbag that Fritz is.
  23. Live Event: 3/11/1985 live from St. Louis, MO Lance Von Erich defeated Phil Hickerson at 8:17 Doug Vines and Jeff Sword defeated Crusher and Dick The Bruiser by DQ at 5:43 Abbuda Dein defeated Pat Rose at 3:35 Jesse Barr defeated The Spoiler at 11:09 The Moondogs defeated Ricky Gibson and Tommy Gilbert at 13:05 Leroy Brown defeated Lord Humongous by DQ at 6:57 Killer Khan defeated Bob Sweetan at 8:21 Dory Funk Jr. defeated Jose Lothario at 14:18
  24. This week we talk about AEW and WWE. Matt Hardy's recent video and Jon Moxley winning the AEW Title. We talk a bit about Mania and angles that burned us in the past with WWE. Matt also reviews a local indy show he attended this past weekend.
  25. Sure, I can do Ricky Gibson and Tommy Gilbert or Doug Vines and Jeff Sword if you want either.
