This was so awesome. Everything they tried just clicked. The MX were awesome, but you really can't discount the Southern Boys here. They brought a lot of fresh energy here. The best U.S tag of the year.

It would only really be a theme of Flair playing the chickenshit pussy if he played that character the whole way through. Chickenshit pussy is supposed to represent his true character under pressure, but it's a bit more nuanced than that. Flair's character isn't a chickenshit though -- not like Honkytonk Man or Lawler in 93 -- he often plays a chicken shit to lull the opponent into a false sense of security (sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't), he's buying time and looking for an opportunity. Flair's "true character" is not a chicken shit but a desperate borderline psycho who will do anything. ANY. THING. To keep hold of that title. There is also a third layer (cocky / arrogant strutting heel, which is obviously a front) and a fourth layer (the true blue athlete who will never say die -- yes, that's even there when he's a heel -- even shades of it in Rumble 92). Flair switches between these 4 personalities a lot. But they are always swirling about. Two of them -- the cocky arrogant Slick Rick character and the chicken shit are an act. The other two -- the borderline psycho and the true blue athlete only surface under extreme pressure. I voted for Flair. Now Jerry I think this is such a great and interesting take on Flair. I've heard of the 3 faces of Foley. Now we have the 4 faces of Flair.

This is good stuff. Austin was great. Loved Jeanie's line about looking down her top.

I loved this. Iceman comes across as a guy who can kick the crap out of Jarrett. He came across as a bully. Plus that fight on the floor was out of control. I loved how Ice got his head caught in the security ropes. -
It starts off good, and just peters off at the end.

The character worked well at spot shows in SMW, I'm sure it could here as well. I thought the video was well done.

I'm so glad they did the Gilbert turn so quickly. You could see it coming a mile away. Still this was a great segment and a lot of entertainment value.

Putting Duggan and Nikolai together makes me smile.

With all these superstars having sound bites it really builds the Hogan comeback really well, and most importantly made it important.

I thought this was a solid bout. It got a little tedious in spots, it got a little sloppy too. For the most part it was a good tag. Misawa coming out gets the superstar reaction he needed.

The long chinlock spot didn't bother me so much. It kept building anticipation for the girls which the crowd was jonsing for. With that said it didn't quite hit the mark. Still the post match was tremendous and set up so many possibilities.

Pain Stewart which is a ripoff of Payne Stewart. I loved that gimmick so much just because my brother was the biggest Payne Stewart mark.

I always felt that Duggan and Buzz Sawyer from Mid-South had that legit I hate you vibe.

I'm lucky I was laughing so hard or I would have thrown up in my mouth at how bad it was. I will say the crowd was hot for Zeus early. I don't think Brody ever had as bad as a match as this was. Man alive those strikes were so phony looking by Zeus.

This feud started so hot for this to be the blow off sucks.

The match was so so, but the superkick to the back of Tessa's head was a holy shit moment. She took one hell of a bump off that thing. The timing on that thing was spot on or he just kicked her in the back of the head.

I thought this was a solid fight. I'm not as high on this as the rest of you are. I thought Jarrett and Travis should take most of the match since they are way higher on the totem pole. I thought Falcone is a serviceable big man. By big I mean for the territory. Torres is useless. Is he Akbar's legit kid or something because he brings nothing to the table and has zero charisma. I also thought it lasted a tad long, and I think I would have liked it as a more compact brawl.

Flair and Arn are just great here. Flair is the man. His interview to hype the Bash was tremendous.

Money. Savage knew being programmed opposite Hogan he was going to get more money. Being Hogan's partner means a good pay day. Politically opposing Hulk would have cost him money.
