  1. The Warrior roundtable looked frankly uncomfortable. Literally uncomfortable as they looked all crammed in there.
  2. I've seen that footage that was in the documentary and quite impressed at how close it felt. Would be great to see that mastered in HD with some expert commentary hopefully. I'm also wondering if they have raw footage from Florida before it was aired on TV.
  3. Seems to me like NXT makes a return of this show redundant and unnecessary.
  4. I gained a lot of respect for HHH after his match with Taker at 17.
  5. This is more along the lines of "annoying things my brother can do that I can't", but he can pronounce "occipital protuberance" with relative ease (I even had to use google to get the spelling right just now), even when intoxicated.
  6. Surprised they are putting them up first and not SNME.
  7. Terry and Dory Jr. one on one?
  8. Watching it as we speak.
  9. Sounds like Roddy Piper is going to appear on Nancy Grace. I may reconsider my Agnostic status if an act of God prevents this from happening.
  10. To ease this off his personal life a bit, when was it that you think his ring persona started to crack? For me it was when he came back to WCW in '98. Before he left he was just being himself and seemed to have his stuff together. But I noticed a major difference during "the greatest day in the history of our sport". It didn't get any better once he went on with WCW during it's final years, and only seemed to be more like the guy we all idolized during the Evolution period.
  11. Me and my brother joked that when he did the phone stuff he was just backstage or off-camera but in sight of the broadcast booth.
  12. *Hopes for 1800-Collect updates from Heaven*
  13. An inventory of every bad pre-1999 WCW PPV would be interesting.
  14. The Jimmy Korderas interview is interesting. Especially interesting is hearing Steve talking about Over The Edge '99.
  15. Bobby Heenan and Mr. Perfect allude to the Rodney King incident at WrestleMania VII too.
  16. It's even less like that show, because everyone more or less knows each other. It's a major part of it's watchability, the mix of friendship and rivalry.
  17. Sting/Shawn would have been a better program I think. They could play up how they never switched teams during the Monday Night Wars, and take it from there.
  18. I thought I'd hate it too, but it's pleasantly proved me wrong. It's not as wacky as I feared, although I do still anticipate some cringe-worthy stuff coming up.
  19. I disagree about Duggan. It's kind of cool seeing him and Piper buddying up together. Tony Atlas is the one that's bugging me though it's probably just over-compensation on his part.
  20. Roddy Piper and Jim Duggan?
  21. You said it. Maybe he gets a job hosting WCW specials for the Network, but definitely he gets a spot in the HoF.
  22. He said in one of his shoots that he never liked announcing.
  23. Sean Oliver, in a very passive way, reins Roddy in a way none of the other shoots do. The "Timeline" format is perfect for that because it's a specific set of events.
  24. It's interesting WCW never tried picking him up in the mid-90's. He could have had some good matches with Benoit, Malenko, etc. He could fly around but he also had a bit of brawling style as well.
