  1. Its funny to see Richards drop his pretentious facade over three hundred bucks.
  2. Me and SLL talked wrestling on my podcast. It was generally a fun show Show. http://tobtr.com/s/3547387
  3. Actually since then, I would replace the first Towers match with the Bulldogs MSG match.
  4. Man the Tully and Arn and Hart Foundation matches are nowhere near as good. The Busters/Rockers matches are so frustrating to watch. You keep waiting for the Busters to get in gear and start kicking ass. But every time they get a little bit of offense going, the Rockers get back in control. Compare it to the Rock and Roll Express match from the TBS show and you see it is really lacking. Even if the TBS match had a shitty non finish. I have seen some good Hart Foundation/Rockers matches. But they seem like a preview of a better match. Even the twenty minute draw never seemed to get started. I like the Orient Express match, but I prefer the Express/New Foundation match from the 92 Rumble. And when I speak in absolutes, I am speaking from my own point of view. That should be obvious. Unless you fear I have the power to subvert your own personal will. Which would be a valid fear if every test chimp did not explode and I decided not to test on people. Actually I consider Demos/Rockers to be the best WWF/E tag match ever. If I was trapped somewhere with my portable DVD player and a flashdrive with only ten matches on it, Demos/Rockers would be a lock.
  5. You would be wrong on that. Especially if you restrict it only to their WWF runs.

    RAW 1000

WWE simply does not have the roster to turn Punk. The fact they are trying is a result of being at a dead end with John Cena. They have been doing reruns with Big Show and they are having to do it again with Punk. Go to a live event and you will see Punk is only a hair behind Cena in popularity. Which I think a lot of it has to do with how they fucked up with Tensai. They don't know how to build new heels and this [roblem is only going to become worse.
  7. I don't believe in carry jobs. So I don't think Demolition carried them, but I do think they were directing the action. Bumping and stooging are not mutually exclusive from sound tag work. No more than big moves are mutually exclusive. But I do think some teams use it in place of putting together a well thought out match. Which I think Adonis and Murdoch did most of the time. They were just great at it.

Rock pinned Cena clean at Mania, and if you want to dig deep, he never got a rematch for the title back in 02.
  9. That's odd since the Rockers v. Buddy/Doug happened a couple years before and those matches were awfully good and far better than the match in question. In fact I'm not sure the best Demo's match I've seen would crack a top five Rockers v. Buddy/Doug match. And I actually like the Demo's 1. I'll take that bet. 2. The Rockers were not calling those matches now were they? Also you guys prefer stooging and bumping to sound tag work. Which there nothing wrong with that. But that is what comes down to with some of these teams. I have not seen the Somers/Rose match in two years. That was the one on the big Shawn DVD set. I was not overly impressed by the work in it. It just felt like Somers and Rose working schtick to kill time. But as teams working stooging and schtick I like Adonis and Murdoch better.* *Which is based on what little of Rose and Somers I have seen. Which is admittedly not much. I still need to see the bloodbath match with the Rockers.
  10. A good comparison would be the Brainbusters matches. Which are good, but have way too much stooging and bumping from Tully and Arn. Who make it look good, but the Rockers lacked the offense to make it compelling for too long. By the time The Busters gain control, the match is over.
  11. With Demolition doing more of the bumping, which he said the Rockers did better? Demolition knew how to structure a Rockers match better than the Rockers did.
  12. If Demolition was controlling the match, they are the ones who made it. If the Rockers had control, Demolition would of been bumping and stooging the entire match.

All I noticed was Steph and Heyman looking like they were on the verge of having sex the entire time.
  14. That match was all Demolition. If it were left up to the Rockers, most of the match would of been bumping and stooging.
  15. How does Darsow suck? His selling and offense and generally good.
  16. That was more playing off of stupid NWA fans perceptions. I think Demolition was initially intended to be the new top heel team. They were not suppose to get over like they did and they decided to turn them face.
  17. What angle did they do when Bobby left the AWA?
  18. Shawn put in a great performance against Hacksaw Duggan in a lumberjack match. His bumping and selling were perfect because watching it you never thing "Boy look at Shawn go." instead you think "Man Hacksaw is kicking his ass." It was a pretty long match and it was always entertaining and it was almost all Shawn.
  19. I saw a match where Eadie had to pull the straps down and he looked surprisingly cut.
  20. Compared to who? Eadie especially was not fat.
  21. The Kane feud was even worse. Shane going even with Kane for three straight pay per views. Trying to kill his unmasking right out of the gate.
  22. Fat? You must work for WWE.
  23. No they aren't.
  24. That is the point, Demolition created variety with limited resources. Its easy to create a new meal every day with a full pantry. Demolition created variety with cheeseburger helper. I don't think any of those teams could have did as well in the WWF. Or to put it another way. I'm more impressed with the guy that finished third in a race with a bag of rocks on his back, than the guy who won. They created something new every time out. They did it with very disparate teams. From Andre/Haku to the Rockers and had good matches. Demolition was doing it a million times better. Most guys were not doing those little things right, much less doing them right, In the WWF or anywhere else. They are too concerned with stooging, bumping and getting their moves in than properly building the match.
