  1. Not really, Jarrett does HHH's act better than HHH.
  2. You can look at World War 3 98. Goldberg did not even work that show and Chris Jericho had a TV Title defense against Bobby Duncum. They could have done a Jericho/Goldberg match easily. Even if Jericho was killed in six minutes, it would have been a nice experiment.
  3. Bam Bam would work hard and not smart. He would go full speed, when slowing down might be better. Bossman understood when to slow it down or go into high gear. Bossman could play a bully heel, a monster face or a underdog face. Even changing gears in mid match, and getting over smaller heels.
  4. Bam Bam could do more athletically than Bossman. But Bossman was a far smarter wrestler and was very versatile. Bossman was also a really good promo at times. There was this Raw, where he stood toe to toe with Austin and never seemed out of place. I love all three guys and they would make the "Victator 100" which is the only list that matters. I was having difficulty ranking them, since overall they are evenly matched.
  5. Was there something preventing the WWF from setting up a separate corporation to buy WCW and keep it on the Turner stations? I remember reading that was an initial plan with WWECW.
  6. The only pay per view he was on was Superbrawl 6 and that was because Konan sucked than anything to do with Gang. The Sasaki match at Starrcade was a dark match. They showed the finish on Saturday Night.
  7. I'm saying there is not enough data. Lots of guys had shitty matches with Konan that year, and Gang ended up having a good match with him on a syndicated show http://drvictatorpresents.blogspot.com/201...e-man-gang.html. The Sasaki match was never even aired in full, just the finish. "Well I have not seen the match. Let me comment on it anyway," If you said there is not enough data to judge the run, one way or another, then fine. But you are judging based off seventeen year old memories.
  8. Who were the Tokyo Bullets?
  9. When did Sid wrestle Gang? Gang came into WCW, just as Sid was leaving. The El Gigante match is as good a match as anyone was going to have with Gigante. In fact I will guarantee it is better than anything Bossman or Bam Bam would have gotten out of him. Exactly which 95 matches are you referring to? I have watched most of that run recently. He has a decent squash match with Ron Studd (Was still in the Yeti suit). Was not much too it, Gang sold for some of Studd's shitty offense and then slammed and splashed him. A very good competitive squash with Pez Whatley on Saturday Night. He was squashed by Hulk Hogan on Nitro. Gang did a good job bumping and selling for him. He had two bad matches with Konan, which I think can be safely pinned on Konan. On Worldwide, Gang actually got a good match out of Konan. So not exactly sure what you are basing your "Total Shite" statement on.
  10. What shitty matches did Gang have? Also he had the US belt for a little over a month and was gone right after he lost it. He talked about in his shoot, how WCW would not give him a contract in 96.
  11. I think Gang is way more consistent than either Bossman or Bam Bam. I think he can get better matches out of guys you would not expect to have good matches. A really smart worker and a great bumper. But he was sorta blackballed from wrestling in the 90s. That is probably the wrong term, but a guy that big and talented should have more than two brief WCW runs and a short stint in ECW working openers. Bam Bam I think has a higher ceiling for great matches, he just never seemed to reach it often. . Bossman I think has the matches and was a more versatile wrestler than Gang or Bigelow.
  12. Bossman One Man Gang Bam Bam Bigelow
  13. Jim Ross put over Greg as a really good wrestler on the Legends show and his blog. He thinks he would have been been better off long term, if he had a run or two in another territory.
  14. And Spike ended up giving them two hours later in the year anyway. Well gave them one hour initially, then two hours in 02 with Velocity/Confidential.
  15. Could probably hide him in ECW Tornado tags. At least then he is getting brained with weapons.
  16. He was slowly losing the demonic trappings. In a promo with Big Show he talked about riding motorcycles in the desert.
  17. Kofi also has the ability to botch a kick or headlock like Karagias did. Though Karagias shittiness was more easily hidden in tag teams.
  18. Smithers, have the Rolling Stones killed.... But sir..... Do as I say!!!!
  19. Kofi is a later day Evan Karagias.
  20. That is a punk move.
  21. I love Cole's commercial voice.
  22. Thanks, I went thru the 88 Observers and came up empty.

    SummerSlam

They did not dominate him the entire match, the way Brock did. The last guy to dominate HHH like that, was Khalli at Summerslam 2008.
  24. This was more foreshadowing, than starting a second feud.
  25. Does anybody know of a place I can find Continental Wrestling results for 1988? My first live show was a CWF show from summer of 88 and I would like to find the full results. The only thing I remember is Lord Humongus took on Detroit Demolition.
