You can say shit all you want, it's cable TV. TK just put limits on how many times people can say it so it doesn't get overused.

I was thinking the same thing bubba. He was fine in there with the B team (Gallows and Anderson) but with Cole he was El Matador'ing it up.

This is the kind of thing that I love about AEW. They fucked up, but instead of getting angry at the fans about it they leaned into it and made it part of the angle. Also someone pointed out that Bryan's new look +super mushroom from Mario = Brock's new look and I can't unsee it now.

In other news Jade-berg continues to be awesome.

He was in Impact, maybe he slipped through the forbidden door.

Man, I feel about Cody the way ya'll feel about MJF I suppose. Captain Tryhard in the flesh.
-
No one's saying it's not hard. No one else does it anymore though. Heels either want to be cool or they are super edgy like Black. We don't see any legit despicable heels too much anymore and MJF is a 100% zero redeemable qualities douchebag who doesn't care about your feelings.
-
Brian Jr killing it in that interview. And MJF is supposed to be this way, his whole gimmick is basically 80s heel that says shit that gets him stabbed in the parking lot after the show.

Johnny Ace's executive credentials are pretty much being kept by Mrs. Baba (allegedly) and being one of a million agents in WCW. Plus every time he's given any responsibility he does shit like hire the wrong one legged guy. Mark Henry checks every box you could want in that position, his ties to community groups alone is a PR gold mine WWE just left on the table. Knowing Vince, he probably thinks Mark is a pussy because he writes poetry or some alpha male BS, on top of the other obvious reason.

WWE TV 09/13 - 09/19 NXT 2.0 debut and Monday Night Football massacre

I mean, we had WMs headlined by Sika and Cowboy Bob's sons so you never know. -

Seemed like they were kind of doing him a disservice by having his debut be in a main event title match. Like we didn't even know this dude existed until the beginning of the show and he's getting a title shot? I mean granted no one was expecting him to win but it seemed like they could have tapped the brakes just a little considering a million people debuted here. -
Then I wonder what the pitch was then. Clearly it wasn't enough to swing the deal.

Thick dudes can get away with not being the tallest since the thickness is like an optical illusion making those kind of dudes seem taller than they are. If we're being honest, Brian Cage is basically a dude in the wrong era. He'd be a great monster villain for Hogan to beat on an episode of Saturday Night's Main Event.

Honestly all I could think of seeing him wasn't the name, but "are we sure he's Bloom's kid and not Andre's". You could set a drink on my man's eyebrow ridge. -

Shocked Vince hasn't called Kacy Katanzaro up to the main roster to be a real Lily doll yet. -

Also I love that the story here seems to be Sarray kicked Mandy Rose in the face so hard she turned into Raven. -

All the new faces on NXT look like they have potential (except Duke Hudson, dude just looks like a Generic CAW: UK Edition). Just having new faces in more than squash matches felt like a breath of fresh air. -

Just not having the building look like if an angsty teen designed an 80s TV rasslin' stuido made such an improvement, it's crazy. Also it makes me unreasonably giddy that the son/nephew of Rick and Scott Steiner is exactly what you would want him to be. I want NXT 2.0 to be him and the Creed bros just tossing fools around like sacks of potatoes. -
I mean, honestly Hunter's turned in to the walking representation of "karma's a bitch" even if NXT was the bees knees for a few years.

I wonder if/when Roderick is going to get cycled out, considering how he kind of stands out in a stable of hosses (and not in a way WWE would like). -

Yeah often I think the worst part of WWE's presentation is how nearly every week their TV shows seem to have the conceit that they didn't actually bother to put on a show and if people didn't come out to cut promos nothing would ever happen. And this is by design! They actually seem to want people to think this! (I know they probably don't think that, it's just their lack of planning, but that just adds the extra layer of realism behind the scenes that they actually don't put together a show for real until the last moment) -

I think live, and Kevin Dunn is there to oversee the production so get your nausea medication ready. -

I mean, the nostalgia wells they've been drilling are pretty close to drying up, so one way or another they are going to have to come up with something one way or another.
