  1. It was pretty bad booking to have the Revival do a "WE'RE GONNA SPEAK THE WAY WE WANT TO" promo when they've been in the Main Event (the show not the card position) ghetto since returning. Like why would the crowd have any reason to care what they had to say? Also it looks like their new thing is doing injury angles that are supposed to be thought of as real. Enzo last week, Nia tonight. Finn selling the return of the Curb Stomp like death was a nice touch, but of course the stupid WWE TV presentation had to stay on it so long it looked like a scene from the Office.
  2. http://www.agcwebpages.com/BLINDITEMS/2018/JAN.html To explain how they do it, normally they either post who they think the item is about (if the answer is in italics and not a link) or a direct reveal in the form of a link. Again, not saying they're gospel but if you look back through their archives they are right about stuff like this more often than not.
  3. This may be nothing, but one of the celebrity gossip sites has been doing blind items about Paige still having drug issues for a while, and now that this injury news is cover for her failing another drug test (remember she had two strikes back to back before she got surgery). So instead of having to announce she was the first person to get three strikes they can just claim she's no longer medically cleared to wrestle. I know what you're thinking, but this is also the same place that was calling out a lot of the sexual harrassers in Hollywood long before it became a movement, so it's not like they don't have a track record of being right.
  4. Is the Georgia footage in decent shape? I've never seen anything that didn't look like a 7th gen VHS transfer (even on offical WWE releases) which is odd considering they taped at the WTBS studios and Ted Turner is famous for being obsessed with preservation.
  5. Also it doesn't help that he looks like he should be in one of those commericals to help feed starving children.
  6. If Elign was covering for someome who committed a sexual assault (and it seems that is what happened) then fuck him. No sympathy for any negativity that was sent his way.
  7. I mean, it's pretty difficult for a woman to proceed with a sexual assult case in the best of circumstances (he said she said stuff, statute of limitations, willingness of law enforcement to follow up) and then add the messed up world of wrestling I can see why she would not want to go through the process.
  8. Wrestling is weird, RVD was allegedly disliked due to his frequent potatoing of guys, yet Rollins was out there killing people and the locker room just shrugs it off.
  9. Sheamus got a lot of heat for injuring people, granted that was because one of them was Daniel Bryan, but still.
  10. Plus she would hardly be a mystery since she was announced as a participant before she got injured.
  11. I don't think it's fair to blame Sasha here, it wasn't anything done wrong or mistimed, it was a normal spot done with someone who probably shouldn't have been cleared to be in there.
  12. The difference would seem to be that Paige's injury isn't one the company is facing endless class action lawsuits over and Bryan's is.
  13. I certainly wasn't expecting to see Mr. Pogo show up and get a run as the Ninja. The announcers complete bafflement at him doing the green mist was amazing.
  14. I was surprised she was cleared to come back when it seems others in her position like Edge were given the immediate no. I suppose it was due to her being so much younger at the time of her surgery. I wonder if they will allow her to continue being the manager of Absoultion, because it would suck to derail the other two right out of the blocks.
  15. Bob Caudle continues to be my favorite announcer on these shows. I'm biased since he was one of the ones I grew up with, and I get how someone who grew up with Memphis could see him as a discount Lance Russell, but it's like watching wrestling with your Grandpa while he does his best to keep these beasts from destroying the studio during interviews.
  16. Some things Ive pondered while binging Mid Atlantic: Jim Crocketts title fetish is a thing to behold. I thought JCP circa 1986 was bad, but theres just as many here with half the roster. Pvt Jim Nelson appears to have the same proportions as a little person in a full size body. Its amazing to think this is the guy who would become Boris Zukov. Its hard to look a Paul Jones and not see anything other than the geek manager.
  17. In an ideal world, yes. I have zero faith in the main roster creative team to use him even 1/4th as well as NXT. I see him as a guy they won't "get".
  18. His feud with Dalton in ROH was fun enough. Not sure where this "everything Cody does is terrible" talking point came from but it's getting silly. He's not the GOAT or anything but people are acting like he's Shockmaster bad.
  19. Not saying he needs to be carried, but the guys Nak was working with in New Japan for the most part were quite a step better than anyone he could work with in WWE (except AJ of course).
  20. Cody in ROH and Cody at WK with Brandi were like two entirely different people. I hope he can convince her to stick around but she seems to have a lot of irons in the fire as well.
  21. He's kind of unoffically-offically been working for them for a while now, I guess this is just them giving up any pretext that they're just doing a "promotions with benefits" thing.
  22. Yes, let's not start a narrative that somehow WWE got bamboozled into giving Bryan the win rather than something they were dragged kicking and screaming into.
  23. The rumors on Twitter are saying that he was running a prostitution ring and tried to recruit a female staffer.
  24. Its interesting how everyone seems to know but no one is saying anything.
