Are these mirror matches ever any good (or at least memorable)? I suppose Demolition vs. Powers of Pain (around Survivor Series 88), Road Warriors vs. Demolition (after Summerslam 90) and Road Warriors vs. Powers of Pain all happened, but I don't remember anyone talking about that. Road Warriors vs POP was good but they never really got to do much since they wanted to do scaffold matches and POP rightly said fuck that.

Tanahashi-Suzuki was amazing pro wrestling storytelling from everyone involved. Tana being the brave ace fighting through injuries and overcoming the odds until he runs into a bulldozer. Suzuki being a sadistic bastard who could have won the match after hitting the Gotch piledriver but he wanted to make the ace submit because he's a sick fuck. Red Shoes agonizing over stopping the match but realizing he has to since Tana will never quit and Suzuki will rip his leg off if he doesn't.

Alexa and Braun are the best tag team in WWE and it really isn't even close.

I forgot that Spud signed with WWE, and having him as the 205 Live GM seems like a pretty good role for him.

She should be, she's a natural heel in every way possible.

Funny to see people turning on Owens and Zayn. They've been one of the more entertaining parts of the show for weeks. After weeks of being a neurotic babyface when he was on Raw, Sami's been perfect as the human equivalent to a yappy dog next to his best pal KO.

The announcement blurb says they are looking to add 70 hours of content with the Home Video section, so that should shed some light on how many of these they plan to add.

Gail did make a good point, where was Trailblazin' Steph when the women were doing lingerie matches and pillow fights? I mean, we know the answer, but it was a succinct way to call out their bullshit.

Not to mention she started off as arm candy for Test and Albert (T&A, get it? Impact wasn't even innovative there either) and actually wanted to put in effort to improve when they put her in the ring. Also I think it's funny how internet fans tend to poo-poo the importance of firsts when it comes to women in WWE, but it seems like Trish and Lita being the first women's match to main event Raw made an impression on a lot of little girls who grew up to be wrestlers today. edit: As far as Ronda goes, I bet the plan was for her to come out doing the Ronda Mean Mug Face to everyone but she was marking out internally too hard to keep from smiling.

I don't know what got into WWE to decide they aren't fucking around this year, but I'm all for it.
-
All the women legends were one time deals, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Trish come back since she's the idol of a lot of the current roster and can still go.
-
Sometime between him leaving WWE and starting his current LU/indy scene run he had stem cell therapy done, and it seems to have taken pretty well.
-
All it took for the main show to be better than NXT was for them to get over their ridiculous need to punish the fans and give them what they wanted for once. Crazy how that works.

Ok that's awesome. But also, what a mark lol It was no coincidence her nickname is Rowdy you realize.
-
Also the jacket she was wearing was one that belonged to Piper given to her by his son.
-
They did that for Punk too.

Let it be said Steph was fine on commentary, and was great looking wary at Ronda since the last time they met she nearly had her arm ripped off.
-
Alexa with the six inch heels to not look like a smurf.
-
I never realized how much I want to see Nikki vs Asuka until tonight.
-
Sasha throwing Bayley through the proverbial barbershop window there.
-
Ronda comes out to confront the winner?
-
Perfectly done, they knew no one would boo Trish at 30.
-
Carmella may have just legit peed herself avoiding that kick.
-
Jackie looking like she could probably still beat the ass of most of the roster.
-
Carmella did NOT want to go for that exploder from Becky.
