http://placetobenation.com/titans-of-wrestling-64-the-stampede-territory-part-2-stomper-tribute/ Part 2 of of the Stampede Territory mini series sees Kelly and Travis look at the career of Archie "the Stomper" Gouldie, perhaps the area's most legendary heel. They dig up footage from his time in Stampede, and also from his run as the Mongolian Stomper in the USA. Special focus is given to the legendary angle from December 1983 in Stampede involving the Stomper, his "son", and Bad News Allen, including all the crazy fallout. Sit back and enjoy another ring-a-ding-dong-dandy, fans!

"The match wasnt good because it was mostly Banks and Brooke and they werent on the same page. Well, they were on the same page Del Rio and Young were on earlier in the show. But not the same Paige Del Rio may have been on earlier." Oh Dave, you've still got it, you've still got it, you've still got it

His match against Robinson from 1974 Japan is great and he more than holds up his end in it

Join Kelly and Johnny as they prove once again why wrestling is the greatest thing ever: No Freakin' Rain Delays! Watch wrestlers attempt to wrestle in the rain (lots of arm bars and small packages folks), Cyndi Lauper still kicking around the WWF, the REAL Spider Lady, Hogan and Studd's loving embrace, and much much more!

I think they were going to run Piper vs Lawler in Georgia in late 1982 but Piper was canned for numerous offenses, the last being a bender with Tommy Rich where they no showed multiple dates

First match set the table for the tourney quite well. Love the enthusiasm from Ranallo and Bryan

Not live, but Nak vs Balor is a big match and I'm pretty excited. Show just started. Curious to see how much time they get

Dropping on Wednesday, Titans of Wrestling #63 is the first of a periodic multi-part look at the history of Western Canada's Stampede Wrestling promotion. Kelly brings aboard his longtime friend Travis (Lucha Afterground podcast https://soundcloud.com/lucha-afterground) to host, and they reminisce about the wrestling they grew up on living in Calgary in the late-80s. This episode features the bookends of the territory, with a look at both the oldest footage available-from April 1961-and the symbolic end of the story, the Canadian Stampede main event from 1997. So in the meantime and in between time, get ready for Titans #63!

I'm watching this at a friend's place. First UFC I've seen in 4 years. Lesnar winning and then an RKO out of nowhere is how I'd book it
