The Rock at least worse a shirt after cycling off and having surgery. Jinder is loud and proud during the Wellness Era. The back acne, the gyno, etc. Its amazing he hasn't failed any test. Perhaps he is not being tested or has TUE?

So Vince's response to seeing POC peacefully protesting racial injustice is to relaunch the XFL. Its such a Vince thing that I hate it and love it at the same time.

Reading through this thread and the reactions, ideas, etc. shared around the web in the past few months--I will discuss this unfortunate aspect of our culture on a future episode of MIS.

Titus is interesting. Titus makes for great TV when he puts the pieces together. However, there have been times when he reverts back to NXT Season 5 Titus. When I think about it, I would compare his inconsistency to early Smackdown Sean O'Haire. I don't think Titus should be the World champion, but a 3 month US/IC title run would freshen things up in both the division and the overall product. With all of this said, I would love Titus to be the manager of The Street Profits. Get Apollos corny ass out of there and just have Titus managing the new Prime Time Players.

Of course every artist has a sound and range. Its what makes them--THEM. Its a gift and a curse. Jim is hands down a legend in this business and if he is hanging it up, good for him. He has made a ton of money, had worldwide exposure, and is one of the key figures behind WWE selling 7 million (give or take) in original singles and albums (pre CFO). He is the John Williams of pro wrestling. Jim being one of the first 'behind the scenes' figures to be inducted into the WWE HOF makes way too much sense for it not to happen.

Even if PWG, Lucha Underground, AAA, PROGRESS, ROH, and NJPW all joined forces for a mega show--its not hitting 10,000. I doubt Cody and Team would want to invite Impact (though [some will think] ADR, Lashley, EC3, LAX, and OvE would make nice additions to the card). It will need to be the WCW/New Japan Supershow of 2017.

Give Elias a 3 month IC title run. Elias' stuff is usually corny-good and not corny-bad (see Wyatt, Bray). I couldn't tell if the Bo and Curtis' parts were piped in or not, which makes the segment tops in my book. Just good stuff all around and the Roman match right after was a nice cherry on the sundae.

The worse thing about it is WWE's commitment to not make it look "too real". If the NXT women are surprises and "aren't suppose to be here", etc. Why not just come out wearing street clothes? WWE Security actually pretending, even in some small way, to do its job would also make for a nice visual and up the stakes.

Not SS related, but had to turn off the KO documentary after getting to 'Day 9'. I am not into company fluff pieces, but what makes this worse is that it seems that KO's last 12 months was booked mainly to do this documentary filled with kayfabe thoughts, introspection, etc. Looks like I will have to seat out this one.

That was fun. Oh look! SD and Raw are all tied up. Didn't see this coming.

Why is this Lesnar/Styles match still happening? Where's Stephanie!? I love Brock pulling a move out of the Marvel playbook and just going all Hulk on Styles in order to break the submission.

What makes this even more glaring and frustrating is that for about 3 weeks its been RAH RAH! Invasions, matching t-shirts, pep talks, and beefs being put aside while everyone walked around huffing and puffing...and all for what? To casually let your team mate get eliminated? To go from Marxian propaganda type of social media posts and cries for revolution to laissez faire attitudes on team members being pinned. Just extremely jarring and goes to prove that despite all the pomp and circumstance...there are no real stakes in any of this.

I can see him going heel on Kurt instead With WWE's track record, WWE will have Jordan beat up HHH and thus turn him face to a small portion of the audience, only to have Jordan later take out Angle and become a heel with the majority of the audience. The two results will nullify each other and Jordan will be back out to silence the next night on Raw while he tries to 'explain' his actions. It will be the first reverse double cross and double turn combo in wrestling history!

Jason Jordan being a baby isn't going to get him over. Being bitter without any good zingers or fair points will continue to lead to dead crowds. Jordan has it in the ring, but these gentrified millennial Raven "What About Me?" promos (without the charm or wit) is going to be Jordan's death.

Is Bayley doing a Make-A-Wish gimmick with nerds? Why is she helping all these guys propose?

The Stephanie pep talk is absolutely terrible. Not sure how THAT would motivate anyone. The forced, and ultimately meaningless, "Brand Supremacy" narrative is tiresome and dull on so many levels. On a completely unrelated note, I will always respect Miz for turning chicken shit into somewhat passable chicken salad. A "Let's go Corbin!" chant? Well color me purple...

I planned on re-watching the show mainly to see Dream/Black, but now I have a new reason! The bat shit craziness of MAURO~!

I think this was the plan all along. WWE has been experimenting this entire quarter and throwing out big stuff. SS could have had a normal build or a build that actively keeps people engaged. The latter was chosen.

Is TNA the worst wrestling promotion in history?

The interesting thing in all of this...Dixie still has a stake in the company. -
This has become the sad reality of Brock matches. On paper it sounds good and in our heads it sounds good because we KNOW what Brock can do int the ring when motivated. But then reality comes like a mac truck and we realize we are in the Suplex City era of Brock Lesnar. I keep hoping THE NEXT MATCH will be the one where Lesnar decides to cut the shit and save the SC gimmick for house shows and dark matches, but he always disappoints. Cena being on Team Smackdown is just another item of note WWE is doing to begin positioning Q4 as Must See TV. This is what was needed for years and with the NFL experiencing some issues--this is the best time to come out with guns blazing. Now of course if this is all business as usual next year, well...

The guy who runs PWS use to work at TMZ and was the guy (or one of them on a small team) that would break the pro wrestling related stories. He has legit inside sources and his stuff has panned out. The trust 'overnight' really comes from his TMZ credentials and the fact that he (Ryan) is far from a sensationalist.

Ratings kinda suck. Live attendance kinda suck. But yeah, all this shaking up makes SS much more intringuing on paper (much like last PPV). Hate to be a shill for Brandon and Chris, but... An analysis of attendance estimates suggests WWE’s live event business for September 2017 was not far off from what it usually is for that month. Turnouts for SmackDown TV tapings however are arguably disappointing in light of the brand split that’s been underway since July 2016, an effect that may be due to the absence of John Cena. Meanwhile a study of Google searches and Wikipedia page views hint at a recent, marginal decline in overall product interest that is not merely seasonal. However television viewership of RAW and SmackDown in September 2017 was on par with that of September 2016. https://www.fightful.com/brandon-howard-wwe-business-attendance-down WWE is saying it’ll be even more profitable than previously thought. In the company’s third quarter earnings report released today, it raised its adjusted OIBDA (a measurement of profit) projection for full year of 2017 from a record-setting $100 million to in the range of $108 million to $112 million. For the entire year of 2018, WWE predicts it will break the record again, bringing in “at least” $115 million. https://www.fightful.com/wwe-upgrades-profit-projections-network-subs-attendance-update Listen to the last two episodes of Wrestlenomics radio. The photos we see online is not even half of the story.

Sami comes in as Bram leaves...I guess the constant quota is two? Haven't heard about the Sami stuff, but as always, I hope its not true.
