  1. Castle should move up the card in 2017 . NJPW is high on Castle , so I would expect him to work Wrestle Kingdom and multiple NJPW tours in 2017. Also I would hope Castle and Marty Scurll to work a TV Title program. ROH now knows he is a money draw.
  2. Trump won because of Obama's economic policies. Obama is the only President to have under 2 % growth every quarter . Jobs are being shipped out to Mexico and Asia due to high taxes and over regulation . The end result is that people that had jobs that paid $ 40 to 60, 000 per year are now mowing lawns , hauling gravel and picking scrap metal off the highway. Health insurance cost have sky rocketed under Obama. I pay for my own coverage and the cost has jumped from $ 200 to $ 400 per month. I was scheduled to receive another increase of 68% next fall . This is a problem because I have only had one pay raise in ten years. I am making less money than I made 20 years ago. This is a common story. I am of British heritage . Now according to the left if I vote for my own economic needs instead of the needs of illegal aliens or the third world , I am a racist . As far as the illegals aliens go we do need to get that situation under control . We have more than enough crime in America , we do not need to import crime . All criminal illegal aliens need to be deported right now. Also we do not need to let terrorists in our country. We need to save the lives of our own people , so what if the left gets offended. We do need a guest visa program that works for foreign tech and/or seasonal workers. Any other illegals need to become citizens or leave . Every that works in America should income taxes , social security and follow the laws of the land. Equal rights should apply to all citizens. Many illegal workers are working on a cash basis and have undercut the labor market , while not paying taxes. People who are living here illegal but are solid citizens do need a path a citizenship. Every must pay their fair share and follow the law, not break the law and make excuses. That why I voted for Trump. He is the lesser of two evils . The reality is that he will not deport millions , not possible. I just want the criminals gone gone and every to operate under the same economic and legal rules. Equal right for all , not special rights a chosen few. If people would not be a slave to their own twisted political views , left or right , we could all move society forward . As for Joey, Gabe fired him because is upset about the election . Just check out his twitter.
  3. Anyone go to ROH in San Antonio last night ? Kinda of curious about the show . Plus any word on attendance?

  5. Also , the tax that TNA must have not paid is sales tax from their website. Tennessee is not allow to charge state income tax per the state's constitution . So the state get a large part of it's income from a 9.25 % sales tax. I would imagine that Dixie has been collecting state sales tax and putting in her pocket. I live in Memphis , TN so I pay that sales tax everyday .
  6. The established talent teaming with a jobber was a common practice of Welch run promotions. This way a mid-card face got on TV and got his offense in against a top heel team . Then the jobber took the fall. That way the baby face looked like a million bucks , while protecting the top heels at the same time.
  7. Also I read if the talent is not paid on October 15th , they all become free agents. Can anyone confirm ?
  8. When you reach the point of no return , the state of Tennessee will padlock and chain your office doors. Then they will seize all of your assets. It is pretty much over , unless her daddy bails out the company.
  9. The POP deal is only a barter deal . Billy has already met with the POP people. I would think that a new BC promotion could just slide right in that POP barter deal and move forward .
  10. It appears that ROH is finally getting serious about adding new talent to the roster. I would assume that Kevin Kelly has taken over the creative side of the company . So things seem to be getting done , while everything was seemed to be in a free fall before Kelly went full time and relocated to SBGI HQ . Keith Lee and Shane Taylor are finally get on A PPV and seemed to be full time , Lio Rush is full time Jason Kincaid has returned , Bull Dempsey is now being booked , Punisher Martinez is getting a small push and at least 3 more new talents are being add via the Kingdom gimmick. If ROH is to survive and grow developing new talent is imperative. Let's face ROH has not been proactive in adding new talent during the Delirious era ,.Gabe has been using his or Heyman's and/or Danielson WWE ties to kick ROH 's ass in the area of new talent development . Losing out on guys like Matt Riddle , Jeff Cobb, Tracy Williams and Fred Yehi , just to name a few , has been a big blow to ROH 's growth . Hopefully things are things around for the company.
  11. Billy should just start his own promotion . It might just be better for him to restart with a clean slate. TNA owes more money than the company is worth. It would take Billy years to dig out of the black hole that Carter dug over the last few years.

  15. I believe the 6 man title will be used to showcase CMLL talent . If you add the NJPW and CMLL talent to the mix you got plenty of talent to make the 6 man gimmick work . Plus , Sinclair is starting to let ROH sign some new talent , so the ROH roster will begin to slowly grow over the next few months.

  17. I would venture that CMLL , AAA , NJPW , Dragon Gate , NOAH and ROH all bank more cash than TNA. People seem to forget that ROH does not buy air time or share their ad revenue . All the revenue that ROH TV generates goes straight into SBGI pockets. TNA has a barter deal on POP TV , which some people think is better than actually owing the free broadcast stations that carries your wrestling program. . ROH is the clear cut number two promotion in America. TNA cannot even run house shows or sell shows anymore. I find it comical that Billy Corgan tells anyone who will listen that TNA is the number two wrestling promotion in the world. Hell , TNA is not even number two in North America
  18. Marty jumped to ROH , so long Evolve. Good move. Marty could end up getting NJPW and CMLL dates to go along with the ROH work.
  19. I load on Wrestling material during the Summer / Fall months. I generate the majority of my income in non - Winter months. Also , I am a confirmed bachelor with no kids . So finding the time to watch wrestling is easy. The only non- Wrestling shows I watch are Memphis Grizzlies basketballs games , University of Memphis basketball games , PBS travel shows and CNBC / Fox Investment programming. I will also watch reruns of the Beverly Hillbillies and the Andy Griffith Show. I gave up watching mainstream sports when I quit gambling in the 90's . I enjoy watching good pro wrestling more than today's TV programming. I watch late at night during the week and a couple of disc on weekend. If I get burnt out and take off a couple weeks. The key for me is having a lot of variety to watch. In my case , 70's and 80's wrestling better than almost anything on TV. I loved wrestling since I went to Ellis Auditorium in 1970 to watch Dr. Ken Ramey's Interns battle Jerry Jarrett and Tojo Yamamoto . The undercard featured Jackie Fargo , Herb Welch , Johnny Walker , Johnny Long , Tinker Todd , Frank Hester , The Alaskans , The Samoans ( Tio & Tapu ), George Strickland and Suni War Cloud. All 2 out 3 fall matches. Who would not have been hooked for life ?
  20. Stan Hansen in Memphis. Stan ' s buildup promo's were great. He talked about his dad making him chop cotton in Texas and the power of his Lariat . He also explained in detail about how much he wanted to beat hell out a bunch of fruity guys like Austin Idol and the Fabs. I could not wait for Stan to get to Memphis and start kicking ass. Hansen did not stay long but he did not disappoint .
  21. Do you give Watts or Dundee the creative credit for MId- South ? or both ?
  22. Memphis . I starting watching in 1970 and followed the company until in went out of business in 97. 1970 - 1983 were the best years. The promotion went in decline after the Watts trade. However 84 -88 were still better than most promotions. Everything was hit and miss after 88 . Some bright spots were the Eric Embry/ Tom Prichard run, the Moondog Wars , Scott Bowden and the USWA / SMW wars were a few of the high points. Although I did not get to watch it on a regula basis, I did catch Southeastern / Continental for a short time on Jackson , TN TV and on Knoxville , TN TV when I visited friends. SECW was like the long lost half brother to Memphis. The promotion was headlined by longtime Memphis promoter Roy Welch 's three grandsons , The Mongolian Stomper and Bob Armstrong. IMOO , SECW / CCW is under valued by some wrestling fans. SECW was a very large promotion in it 's heyday. At one time Ron Fuller's promotion had purchased 5 different promotion. The Fields Gulf Coast group , Billy Golden's Central Alabama group , Nick Gulas's Northern Alabama group , John Canza's Knoxville promotion and the Tri- Cities / VA / Eastern Kentucky region made up CCW . I did enjoy WCCW , SWCW , Mid- South , Crockett , Florida and Georgia , but not like the two home promotions. Never saw Portland and Stampede while they were still in business. In the 90's I followed SMW and ECW . SMW was carrying on the great tradition of Tennessee wrestling, while ECW seemed to present a new and fresh take on Wrestling. In the 2000's I followed TNA until around 2006 / 2007 , when the product just became unbearable due to Russo . I enjoyed ROH from around 2003 to 2008 . I still try to get back into ROH , but I really don't enjoy Hunter Johnston's booking . Don't really relate to today's product.
