  1. YOUR DAD NEVER GAVE MY DAD A TITLE SHOT! YOUR DAD SHOULD HAVE STOOD UP FOR HIM IN '93 INSTEAD OF THAT PAUL ROMA PUNK!

Considering how many people were bitching about some very vague report that Cena "went off" on Corbin backstage at Smackdown and caused him to get "buried" I'd say a lot of people do still think that. As recently as a few weeks back I got into it with a "Cena Buries Talent Worse Than Triple H Does" guy in a FB group who went on and on, despite the only ACTUAL burial Cena did was of The Nexus at SummerSlam, and even then he admitted he was in the wrong (those with histories of political burials rarely own up to things not being good for business)! But the guy wasn't convinced, and made the Triple H examples out to be "no big deals."
  3. Any favorite news/commentary channels to add here? I know many tend to be trying way too hard to sound like smarts, or seemingly make videos and lists just to generate traffic and comments buzz (looking at you WhatCulture, especially with all the "things (insert here) wants you to forget about (insert here) vids with many "yeah, so" type of examples) but some seem to do a darn good job at being entertaining and not too much of a "trying too hard" channel. Wrestling With Wregret and Going In Raw are good examples, even if Johnny Sorrow ripped the former's production values once when I linked a video they did ripping the WWE's milking of Eddie Guerrero's death storylines.
  4. So no one here watched Season 2? Some good stuff like Seth Rollins channelling Randy Savage and Rhyno channeling Mick Foley as they look like Bruiser Brody. Natalya channeling Luna Vachon sans raspy, 50 packs a day voice and veins makeup. Why Chett is so broken back in Season 1 Big E and Woods channelling Papa Shango The beginnigs of the Tex-Chadd breakup Weird thing though, season 2 is sponsored by Old Spice. For some reason I conflated Old Spice and Right Guard, because I was waiting for a throwback to the "...anything else would be uncivilized" line from the Right Guard campaign from that era.

Start a thermonuclear war; that is if at that point there still would be somebody around to kick him out of the HOF. But this kind of discussion should be moved to "Pro Wrestling Mostly". I agree. This is more of an opinion of the guy/his Presidency, than it is anything else. Second, contrary to what scrubbing of a website would have you believe, Hogan was never officially removed from the WWE Hall. They would have made a bigger deal, and a formal announcement for that.
  6. I think you should keep going as long as they remain relevant for storyline purposes. So I'm guessing the start of Raw and the monthly PPV setup.
  7. Getting closer to the return of the Rob Houston Memorial Hacksaw Jim Duggan Update! On a much more serious note, I wonder when did the DiBiase vignettes start up? Okay, just did a Google search, and Ted returned to the Fed in May, so I guess the vignettes didn't start until winter of 1987?
  8. A fan mentioned her in a Tweet.
  9. I don't think you want to!
  10. http://www.wrestlinginc.com/wi/news/2017/0628/627544/impact-wrestling-acquires-global-force-wrestling/ I don't know if this promotion is a cat or a Time Lord!
  11. Judging by Bryan's tweets, you never know.
  12. They're probably thinking Danielson vs Rhodes once Bryan is out of his contract this fall.
  13. I once did a fan fic of The Horsemen, or at least Flair, Arn and Tully, I forget who I made the 4th, literally invading a show at MSG. Included roughing up Okerlund to get him in the ring for Ric to belt out a "MEAN! BY GOD! WOOO! GENE!"
  14. AFAIK, Samoa Joe is the only Samoan WWE worker not to be related back to the Wild Samoan family.
  15. To be fair all "non scripted" shows have elements done so that the "slice of life" is more palatable for viewers. In other words, something that may be a couple of mifted lines and moved on from IRL would be a blowup scene on a show.
  16. RIP Three Minute Warning.
  17. 2011's SCST doc is on the Network. Probably no need to upload any older Austin documentary pieces.
  18. I've have a feeling Eaton will be in with the Midnights soon, and I'd imagine Heyman stands between his own eventual induction. How many stables in history can claim 100% membership in any of the Wrestling Halls? That's like '60s Packers/'60s Celtics/'70s Steeler level!
  19. I get slipping up on live media platforms as a mistake, including recorded podcasts, where it will be like calling the LA Chargers "San Diego." But writing it does make you seem like a hispter smark that's is trying too hard to impress everyone.
  20. Would you show the "Sara Undertaker Stalker Angle", the burial with Kanyon, the prescient self help guru run to wrap up the run? So they didn't run any WWE footage, but you know, that's not a bad thing! THAT's A GOOD THING!
  21. The Man Called Sting? The Four Horsemen Stable?
  22. That kinda went out the door when you saw everyone was sitting in a steel chair like it was a $15 Indy show. Seriously? That's Amway Center's deal. I don't know what they do for concerts there, but I'd imagine those kinds of seats are standard in most NBA/NHL arenas for events like that last night.
  23. You don't watch other Hall of Fame ceremonies do you? Looks like they take the Pro Football HOF approach, where Chris Berman has been the master of ceremonies for years, and the presentation drags on for hours as the video, presentors of inductees (and recently the presentors have even started their testimonials in the video package) and the inductees get to have their time, with no hook.
  24. Rough picture quality wise ? Or just bits missing and not complete. Several of the wcw nitros and ppvs have a message at the start about it being "Shown in the most complete form possible" I did hear that when wwe got the wcw stuff (which included everything had been assumed by wcw when it bought JCP), that it was supposed to be a mess. Some of it wasn't labeled correctly or at all. That is how Kevin Kelly described how it arrived, in boxes.
