  1. Having the usual winner celebrating and pointing to the sign would be quite jarring if instead of "Goodnight from Philly" with the WWE bug and fade out, it was followed up by "okay, next up..." and it was for the rest of the show, not the championship title match main event.
  2. Oddly the timing of when Vince is saying he wants this launched coincides with the possibility of gaining the financial support of a major thorn in the NFLs side since the 1980s suddenly having some free time on his hands.
  3. Im the same I skipped that segment he was on Raw. Is Steph a face now as havent watched WWE for months and last time I rember she was in the authority. Still a heel role. Just trying too hard to be what her husband is with NXT with the womens division.
  4. Which reminds me, John Smoltz today has a bit of a Cesaro look:
  5. Be funny if the winning charity got paid up front, but had to be all quiet about it. Like not wanting to reveal a season finale spoiler or something.
  6. The first 6 months it did yes. Wish they would hurry up with it as it should of been on there by now considering Raw and Smackdown are. Its probably more to satisfy the AE completists out there. Granted there is still Saturday Night (especially the last year or so where Jimmy Hart essentially made it like a separate promotion from Nitro/Thunder/PPVs!), Heat, Shotgun Saturday Night, etc still untapped on the Network, but WCWs intended B-Show to battle Smackdown still has significance to the main storylines of WCW towards the end.
  7. Speaking of Phillies, back in 1990-1991 I thought this guy had a passing resemblence for Undertaker at that time.
  8. Those chants of "RUSEV DAY" were deafening. And we all thought that he would never recover from the Cena program. You mean the Ziggler program, right? Losing to the ace of the company is still a much better program than whatever was that feud with Ziggler. Also fans are probably bitching that he is no longer the slient/mono symbolic, unbeatable monster, and that he was far better in the role than that current flavor of the month, Braun, is.
  9. They did a fallout video where Nattie did a I dont owe you an explanation for any of my actions promo.

  11. I wouldnt say hes Layfeld like, but Brodus Clay as Tyrus is a regular (they tout his body guard past, but not wrestling) FNCs Greg Gutfield show. He seems to the left, but spouts some socially conservative value points
  12. No opinion on MMA era Undertaker?
  13. Triple H going in while in midst of the Reign of Terror era of 2003-2004 is one of the most absurd HOF selections ever...ANY HOF!
  14. Hopefully they filmed it for a future network special. Sounds like it was a good show with a good crowd. From what I've seen, it was a fantastic show, however it doesn't seem like it was tapped for TV. I would be all for a Rock 'n' Roll Express vs. the Revival tag match. There are a couple of ringside (official, not fan) clips of the Roode-Ziggler finish with the Arn spinebuster, and Arn telling Ziggler welcome to Horsemen Country on a house mic, as well as Goldu...I mean The Natural Dustin Rhodes enterance and The Hardyz introducing the R&Rs.

  16. Not sure what is more surreal, Flair showing up to be interviewed by Mooney on Prime Time Wrestling, flanked by Bobby Heenan period, or the fact that Bobby is in a WWF sweatshirt (and not his traditional attire) and Flair looks ready for a match, and not a standard studio interview segment, and not in his usual custom made suit.
  17. Where would MMA era Taker rank on anyones list? As annoying as JBL/Coles pushing the phrase was, I wonder if there was a kernel of truth in that kayfabe? Too be fair, it made some sense that someone who had a program with Undertaker recently would make such statements on commentary.
  18. I was thinking that, and theyd be proven right, they figured that the hype on their regular shows would be enough to bring in a massive audience as well. But yeah, I can see it more of an keep this a separate entity thing for NBC. Maybe thats why they had Fight Forever with the Savage-Steele fued on the SNMEs. Granted they did Jake-Savage, but its almost like they wanted to be safe especially knowing what was coming in a few weeks, as opposed to running someone fresh that might throw a wrench into the plans for the title change due to a massive reaction versus Savage?
  19. Undertaker, best pure striker in the WWE! *rolls eyes*

When McIntyre and Mahal made Slater a One-Man-Band.
  21. Stephanie, the character, as a manipulative attention whore gets played out in faking a pregancy in order to waste everyones time with a vow renewal ceremony. So faking being drugged for the benefit of playing a long game to her heel turn seems pretty par the course.
  22. Isn't that the start of all loving relationships? I can't recall 100%, but wasn't it implied as part of the heel turn that she was in on the whole thing and so that part was staged though? Could just be making that up, as my brain is hurting thinking about it! LOL! Okay, if that's how they want to get "out" of the first marriage of the on-screen characters being a sham, than why the hell not! I do like the idea that after being divorced in 2002, they got married off screen at some point before the Vince vs. Shawn and then DX feud.
  23. On top of literally having her drugged and had a drive thru wedding with her and Triple H, followed by intimating that Triple H had his way with her, while she was in an unconscious state, afterwards. How THAT "marriage" stayed legal through the summer of 2002 defies even the most convoluted and sudsy television logic!
  24. Its not misspellings, its Mandella! Come on, get with the times There is a universes timeline where Rick Flair wrestled frequently for JCP! And now we are seeing another breach, or melding where Ricky Seamboat and Booby Roode are who we think Ricky STEAMBOAT and BOBBY Roode are
  25. What now? So why are all the Raws, Nitros, ECW TV and Smackdowns they were on still up? And would this effect early 1990s/pre-Nitro Saturday Nights?
