  1. Ive not seen that match myself alough someone who recommends any Steamboat/Flair match is good. Enjoyed their battles over the belt in the late 80s/early 90s.
  2. All of the reasons why you think he was the shit in the '97 Rumble are the reasons why I think he's the GOAT. He's like this in pretty much every match. He's just unnaturally awesome. With that said, 2001 Rumble would be my pick. I wouldnt go that far. Austin isnt anywhere near my top 3 that includes Hogan & Flair. Worst Rumble for the early 1990s Id say 1993. While it opened the show with a cracking tag team match I was less than impressed with Jannetty not winning the belt and while Bigelow/Bossman was something they should have stuck on Raw alough it did redeem itself with Bret/Razor the show all round sucked once they decided Yokozuna was winning the thing. Surely out of all the guys who they had in the rumble you mean to tell me out of everyone who wrestled there Yokozuna was the pick? Randy Savage was a better choice and while they tried to push the big undefeated sumo guy who I thought was a horrible champion.

  6. Personally I do wonder if all this could have been avoided had WWE set the Network deal up before they resigned with Sky.
  7. WWF Championship Wrestling from June 85.
  8. Shawn Michaels says Hello to that!
  9. Please don't upset me... I love Demolition as a kid. They didnt need to split them up just because LOD didnt want another facepaint spike material tag team. I still reckon thats why POP got split up in Jan 90 even though LOD hadent signed till the summer unless WWE agreed on some demands.
  10. Yeah they kinda ruined the importance of the belt once Austin tossed it in the river and discarded it as rubbish.A shame how many title changes happened in 99/2000 as if they really needed the belt on Chyna.
  11. Andre owned Jake in that match was suprised with ease. If Studd wasent winning who would have been the best choice to win the match?
  12. For someone who hasent watched indy wrestling in over a decade any recommendations. Used to buy loads when tape trading was about and wondered what good stuff is about.
  13. I would like to see some people who I havent seen in WWE for a long time. Luger is a big yes for me as I always liked his style, but if they wanted a Diva to go in this year I would probably choose Madusa or the Jumping Bomb Angels.
  14. What was the reason Studd won the Rumble? He seems a odd character to have win the whole thing because he hadent been in the top slot in years and I gather he had only recently returned. Loved him smacking Virgil about at the end. As for Trips/Steiner if they had that concerns at Steiner being out of shape they could have shortened the match and done a wrestling style more familiar with Scotty.
  15. I think that is going to take me a while. Im only on mid 1985 and while Ive recently watched 95 - 99 era its still going to take me ages to get up to current day.

I wouldnt say he was hot. His reign was pretty dull. When you think of Wrestlemania you think the biggest PPV of the year and when you think the WWE Title match you expect the main event to be top notch especially if its the last match going on. It just seemed terrible doing a double countout and then Rock just restarting the match so he can Rock Bottom Cena and cost him the match because Miz just covered after and then got beat up by Rock. Yeah I know it was Payback for what happened on Raw weeks previous & to add Cena/Rock for the following mania but they should have had a clear cut winner in the match either Cena by pin or a sneeky rollup by Miz. Rock's my guy but I was less that impressed by how the ending of the show went. I think I would have preferred Cena to win cleanly and then as he celebrates with Rock he eats a Rock Bottom.
  17. For me Russo was the main reason I started to hate the company because of his lame booking. Ive still not forgiven him for that lame PPV in 2000 when they vacated every title. Just the worst decision he ever made, some people were actually looking forward to Hogan/Sid for the belt.

Rollins/Reigns cant be any worse than Cena/Miz in a World title match in the main event of a Wrestlemania.
  19. Gotta say I loved the part where Lanny recalled the Savage/Strongbow incident when Jay broke his arm and Randy called him a fat something.
  20. Ratings arent always correct on whats decent and isnt.
  21. Mr. Perfect's run in WWE back in 2002.
  22. Im waiting on Daveyboy alough cant see WWE inducting two deceased wrestlers in the same year so they will likely just go with one. Is Undertaker a possibility this year?
  23. I always wanted the gimmick to fail back then just so he would come back as Demolition Smash years later.

That's some odd wording in the announcement. Expected to? Not confirmed? I wonder why they aren't confirming it, can't recall them ever using their website like that. Finally the man will get in. I feel kinda cheated in a way thats its not actually Randy accepting the award and doing a speech. It just makes me appreciate even more that Warrior came to terms with WWE before he passed away.
