Absolutely loved Chapter 39 - top to bottom the most fun I have watched this year. Some may consider the main event to be over booked, but it felt right. Excellent stuff.

I stopped watching when the attitude era kicked in....represented the very worst of society to me and turned me off totally. Didnt fully come back in until 2013.

Been watching 1979 WWWF and basking in the glory that is Pat Patterson.

They did have a long run on the houseshows. They worked Houston twice in 6 months having good matches. I am envious - being in the UK, we never got a chance to see this which is a real shame.

Rick Martel v Tito Santana - still irks me to this day that we never got to see this in all its glory across TV and PPV....the point it fizzled out was the beginning...it could have been super hot and they did almost nothing with it.

and now its all good!

I cant recall if I said the same on the previous shows, but these podcasts are the wrestling equivalent of Mike Duncan or Dan Carlin history podcasts - thats the highest of praise from me.

I think it was Don Bass, not Ron who died.

The 3 to 4 star match is the back bone of pro wrestling. I can only imagine how many great matches within this range from 1992 WCW there were for example. However, the first match which comes to moind when thinking of this type of match is the Bret Hart v Ted DiBiase match from Prime Time Wrestling. No classic, but love it none the less.

Any update on the Roku App Bruce?

As of tomorrow I will have a Roku and as a result, in 2 weeks, I will have a sub to NWA Classics. I hate watching wrestling on a laptop.

I cannot wait for this to get going.
