    Didn't care for the way they booked the finish. I barely know who Demolition is and I can tell you who is in the ring at all times. The early match conversation between Vince and Roddy didn't sell me at all on Ax and Smash looking alike.

    I think Kobashi got a lot of respect from both Jumbo and Hansen for going balls to the wall 100% of the time. They both tend to give him way more than he should get when they get the chance.

    Marty looks golden here. How he never took off is a mystery to me.

    Perfect's selling of the discus punch was pretty amazing. Loved the Perfect/Brain stuff post-match as well.

    DWG getting hers despite cheating to get Tessa out of town was a nice touch. Vicki was pretty scary and I imagine she'd give ol' Billy a good fight.

    Loved the obvious Granny Gilbert's Hair Elixir bit.

    Yeah, the cage match so there's no interference! Of course, once we mention that there somehow manages to be interference anyway when it happens.

    Really want Lawler vs. Taylor to pan out now. Some great promo wars AND wrestling matches could ensue there. So it probably won't happen.

    Good setup for a convoluted match. Toni's idea for getting Jeannie in the penalty box was pretty good too.

    Chris in the ring is horrendous. But you gotta give him points for trying I guess. Austin is coming along so well. Pringle is one of the highlights of this feud for me now. He's really good at playing the cowardly heel manager. Heel beatdown again...hooray?

    Yeah, these heel beatdowns just go on and on and on and on and on...and on....so there is literally NOBODY backstage to come out and help?

    Lawler is really great in ways you just don't see him very often. Probably on purpose, saving these kinds of promos for when they are most effective.

    That Evansville feed would have been awesome to have if any of these matches half lived up to what they ought to be.

    I'm guessing Lex wasn't feeling all that motivated after all the BS he went through just or Sting to come back on top. Ole's run as booker is not looking too good.

    I liked this a lot more than Toyota vs. Hokuto. Bull and Aja as massive beasts beating the shit out of the junior partners was a lot of fun. It meandered in spots, but this is way more my type of wrestling.

    Great legwork on Hokuto after the opening. The rest lost me.

    Fuller as HTM would have been too good. Probably overshadowed a lot of the babyfaces in Vince's eyes. Usual great stuff from Fuller here.

    I counted Kikuchi getting murdered 3 times by Jumbo and once by Taue. I also liked Kawada's revenge lariat on Taue shortly after the one Taue targeted Kikuchi with. Kikuchi getting his showcase at the end was incredible.

    Flair makes me want to see him take on Luger to prove he is still the best. Also, I really liked their other matches this year, so seems like a win-win.

    The girls continue to improve on the mic this week. Anthony and Gilbert hype up a second cage match (?) for the MSC show. I know the girls cage match probably won't deliver anywhere near the tag in-ring, but doesn't that seem like overkill?

    Warrior holding Bruce by his own tie was a nice touch though. And it was a semi-coherent promo sort of mixed in with Warrior-isms of the past, so...a step up from your average Warrior promo then.

    Dusty's promo and Bobby's Rolling Stones line were all kinds of incredible. The rest is kind of insulting to the intelligence.

    Tatum coming back as the gorilla was a nice re-work of a Mid South angle. Good beatdown but too much bat work. I liked Gilbert and DWB getting the "we're smarter than Lawler" promo at the end.

    I was pretty shocked as well. Both women delivered on promos this week in ways they haven't before. That stripping match is almost something I'd want to see based on hearing the promos. Not that I would guess it's going to be worth anyone's while, but the buildup is really good.
