    Great promo by Jake and post-match was perfect. Starting to think Ted had something to do with how great this feud was for where it was on the card.

    Good shoot-y striker vs grappler to start. Then we go into ECW style arena dragging. That made me pay attention for sure. Both guys get bloodied up and try to put each other away with big, stiff bombs. Then when they both stay down for the count, some asshole comes out to call them pussies and tell them how they should still be fighting. My guess is this guy is some kind of hero of bloodbath type slugfests, and I hope he is or he's got no business being out there. The restart takes way too long and it's probably because both guys are legitimately gone. Good desperation slugfest as both guys are tripping over themselves for maybe a minute. Then they both get dragged to the back while the asshole tells us how great either his promotion or those two guys are. Strange, strange stuff, definitely one that sticks with you.

    Hogan trying to soften the blow is pretty funny. Especially given his penchant for making sure he loses as little as possible.

    I agree with the comic book come to life as well. Too long on some of the spots but I get what they were after. Good enough for being a Hogan/Warrior match.

    Buzz is awesome with his crazy grunts. I want Sullivan's idea of them as tweeners who just mess with everyone.

    Why is Jimmy Valiant madness so much easier for me to accept than the Hogan/Warrior stuff? But it is, so yeah.

    Lawler had to do something to make this dog work. I did like Kerry not coming off as a complete musclehead.

    You cold tell Haku loved working with Bobby. Heenan of course cuts a great promo that is actually focused.

    Jimmy Valiant is pretty stoked to be champ. Southern Rockers are...kinda iffy, but if they only had a few matches to pull from I get it.

    Jarrett's hot tag was actually really good. Good tag match from a team that no longer exists, now in both sides of the territory.

    Opening made Drake seem very much like a fifth rate Stan Hansen. Press box stuff was great until Drake just.....left? Then the match drags and drags until it mercifully ends.

    So I started to not bother listening because...well, Hogan and Warrior promos. HO KHOGAN is about the only thing I catch because it amuses me.

    Random thought during Hogan/Warrior promos #2. What happens if (and I think this was about the time time capsules were a big deal) some fan from this time who worshipped this feud put all the promos and no match footage into their time capsule? How do future generations react to the epic battle of words between HO KHOGAN and the Warrrya?

    So I started halfways zoning out during these and letting my mind just go wherever. Because it's easier than trying to make sense of this stuff. Who did more drugs? These two during this feud, Juventud Guerrera, or the Eagles in the 80s?

    A couple of those undercard matches looked really throwaway to me. Steve Allen was the highlight here.

    Repeating the same exact promo on an exercise bike in no way makes me more excited to see him back. Not that it's a bad promo, but he did it once before.

    I am starting to agree with JvK and others on Lawler burying his opponents. It's hard to argue that he's not burying Awesome here and Awesome does little to help himself.

    For a guy as green as he is, Austin looks really good. It probably helps a lot that he's going up against his teacher. The Adams reversal into the finish was pretty easy to see coming, but that may speak to the general flow of the match being good. I second Adams temper being a nice touch for his character.

    BJT proves to be a legit great heel. he works his gimmick perfectly opposite Valiant's bullshit and we get an entertaining match out of what seems like a nothing deal (and...was?).

    Lane's line in the pre-match promo was gold. Damn pretty boys. Great stuff from MX, which seems par for the course. Why does it seem like both the MX and RnR are being kept a level below the Steiners?

    The Lawler match against Bock with the amazing punch comeback before the end is must-see if you ask me. Also, the Dundee LLT match based around Lawler's injured eye.

    Loved the match, but thought Flair gave a little too much up to Morton. Even so, great work by both.

    Sherri is absolutely outstanding as Savage's valet. I think she cuts a better promo and comes across crazier. Impressive given the company she's in.
