  1. Looking forward to seeing the new bookers in action! Florida has an interesting roster that has gone unused for too long. And Memphis is just a fun territory. Edit: Oh, I still stand by the idea of open season on WWF towns. Lots of big arenas to be had, so why wouldn't nearby promotions be gunning for them once the WWF was gone?
  2. I am absorbing the talent, not the physical territory. I'd pick up guys off the WWF roster that I could trade for what I wanted.
  3. Looking at this, why couldn't Maple Leaf run their New York shows under the WWF banner? Didn't the WWF do something very similar in Toronto? Also, hey, why couldn't people compete for the New York market if it came to that? Just everyone who runs shows would be graded on some kind of scale by anyone who read it (in the project or otherwise) and the winner would take the territory after a while. It is a highly lucrative market that more than a few promoters would be after.
  4. I know Will ran some random numbers for the drafts. Maybe some kind of deal like that to decide who gets Florida. It seems like the fair way of doing things.
  5. Love the Hernandez angle. Zbysko as Zbysko is entertaining as Hell. However you end the Dory vs. Brisco story I'm curious as to what Dory does next.
  6. THE JYD!!!!!!!! Love the Superdome show! I like how the opening matches were a little more tame to not kill the crowd early also.
  7. I'm interested to see if anybody wants the WWF.
  8. I can't see leaving Montreal as long as I am in the project. I kind of fell in love with the place.
  9. I like the adding of the title match on the go home show. Eight man would have been a blast. The squashes keep everyone rolling on their way into Greensboro, which looks like an amazing show.
  10. I most certainly do. Pass on the rest.

  12. As far as that LLT match goes there are certainly ways around it. masks that don't conceal the identity from the fans at all piss the fans off mightily. And for the Backlund/Steamboat/Ted thing, maybe you forego Ted and trade Backlund off for somebody more suitable to you before the deal goes down? Just arrange with whoever will give you what you deem worthwhile as the face of your promotion to make the trade and then trade the Fantastics for the Briscoes. Or better yet, send Backlund somewhere, they send Mid South a suitable guy and you get Ted. There are ways around a lot of things if you look for them.
  13. Geographically that would be you and JCP if I'm not way off. I don't think the New Yorkers would care for all the French. Low Blow came up with a workable solution to the problem. Not sure Backlund works in the south though.
  14. LOL, I couldn't even begin to do the WWF justice. I'm not demanding that this scenario happen, just testing the waters. Like I said, it's not every day you have something big drop in your lap. If I don't ask I'll regret it later.
  15. I don't want to see Parv go. I think he did an amazing job with the WWWF. The way he managed his talent was very, very interesting to watch given the results. And his shows were always entertaining as a result of his own writing as well as the workers he had. But he had a very keen business sense going into his decision making that I should probably take a lesson from. Thinking about it, if Low Blow clearly doesn't want to take over the WWWF for Parv I think maybe it should go. It would add to the fantasy booking element for it to be gone. Yes, I gain, but it's not often that you get a big windfall and throwing them away isn't exactly smart. Sometimes you have to take the opportunities that come your way and make them work for you. I think that the ideas I have already proposed that I would do with the territory are beneficial on both sides. Low Blow would get his means to build Mid South up faster. The majority of a huge roster would become available for a big draft after the five or six guys I picked off the top were gone. Just something to think about.
  16. I thought Horiguchi was one of the better character guys in the Toryumon matches I have watched. He's always got some oddball comedy thing that you don't expect going in. Very enjoyable performer.
  17. The last two matches were really, really good. Hogan continues to be awesome in the parallel universe.
  18. Random number generation?
  19. I like the build to the big show. Gran Apollo returning is big news! Roy Lee Welch needs a new family. Pardee better bring his A game and I wonder what the Dynasty has in store for the Fabs.
  20. Good reset after the big happenings. Wonder who the Rich's will get on their side to even things up?
  21. Yeah it's those three. We should fill up the WWF for sure. Georgia did go down in 83, so that's not completely out of line if nobody takes it. Florida I could see dying also if nobody wants to move. But the roster is inviting for sure. I think our new writers ought to be in real promotions, not developmental ones.
  22. He started with the two house show idea. Parv already wanted to hand the WWWF over to him if he decided to leave and that seemed like an easy way for both to get what they want. You also have to remember that your roster does not grow by 10 when you absorb a promotion. You have to give guys up in addition to picking ten. Wahoo moved up by four. So by your estimation you'd need at least two territories ahead of you to go down, maybe three. Just something to think about. Here's another one. You could be the guy scheduled to absorb a promotion that was deemed too big to fail.
  23. Building your promotion to be bigger than the others through only roster gains was never a part of this as far as I understood. It was all about what you could do with similar tools to others.
  24. We're just trying to offer you solutions for what you see as a problem. Both from a "feel" standpoint and a roster standpoint, the WWWF is the elite promotion. The big shows are uber stacked all the way down the card. They have the biggest roster in the game. And yes, Kris was running two shows with Georgia and made it feel like something special. If there were promotions that were one level up so far in terms of star power (WWWF) and output (Georgia), those would be the ones I would name. That's what I thought you were after.
  25. So take over WWWF. Have you looked at the roster and the multitude of talent deals? They could run three a day.
