  1. What an unveiling of the One Man Gang! OMG and Kokina will be a gigantic feud! I'm sure Candido learned a lot by teaming with Fuller. MS-1 gets a big victory in a 3 way match. Great main event as Kernodle and Davis almost go the 60 until that sneaky Kernodle once again uses his flag as a weapon. The Lutte/AWA joint cards sound pretty damn awesome to me. No doubt the fans will get more than their money's worth.
  2. Death Sentence is really moving up the ranks. Good to see Jake bounce back (after his losses to Piper) and get a strong win with the DDT. You have a nice little gem of a feud going between Pillman and Burke. Saito scores the pin on Diamond. Wow, I would love to see Saito and Bock have a program with the champs. Zenk gets a deserved shot at Tanaka and takes him to the limit. Looking forward to some rematches. What a great main event with Steamboat pulling off the quick pin. I know the fans were into that match.
  3. MACW Great American Bash 86 Update w/ Bob Caudle The Bash Updates will be shown on MACW's broadcasts throughout the month of June Bob Caudle: Hello everybody and welcome to the first Great American Bash update, I'm Bob Caudle and it's great to be here. As you know the NWA will be holding various Great American Bash cards during the month of July. MACW will be presenting their Great American Bash card on July 2nd in Charlotte NC, at the Memorial Stadium. Fans, don't forget to stick around for the fireworks show after this historic event, Big news in the NWA, as Nikita Koloff defeated Rick Martel to win the NWA World Heavyweight title. Fans, Nikita Koloff will defend his newly won championship on July 2nd. More on that in a moment. Regarding the United States Title, the Crockett's feel Hacksaw Jim Duggan deserves another shot at the title. They feel that due to the constant outside interference, Duggan has not had a fair shot. So to make sure there is no interference on July 2nd, Ted Dibiase will defend his US title against Hacksaw Duggan, inside a steel cage! A rematch has been signed for the Mid Atlantic title as 'Mr. Wonderful' Paul Orndorff will defend the title against Harley Race. Harley Race has requested a NO DQ stipulation and Orndorff has accepted. Rocky Johnson and Wendell Cooley will defend their US tag titles against the winning team of the upcoming tag team battle royal. Already signed for that battle royal is Hot Property, Caspian Empire, Polynesian Power, the Assassins, Rolling Thunder, the Fabulous Blondes, Bar Room Brawlers, the Southern Ramblers, Greatness, and from Lutte, Los Infernales. Jimmy Snuka will defend his National title and Tom Prichard will have a Television title defense. I also received word that Tony St. Clair has issued a challenge to Abdullah the Butcher and Tiger Jeet Singh. St. Clair says he found one heck of a partner. Listen to this blockbuster match just signed, 'The American Dream' Dusty Rhodes will clash with Stan 'The Lariat' Hansen. As mentioned, Nikita Koloff will be on hand to defend the NWA World Title. Due to our top champions being booked to already defend their titles, the Crockett's have decided that 'The Universal Heartthrob' Austin Idol will wrestle 'The Stud' Rob Fuller and the winner will get a shot at that prestigious championship. Fans, this is shaping up to be one epic event. I'll see you next week for another update and more matches to be announced.
  4. MACW puts Jimmy Golden on the trade block
  5. Wow! Creatchman really got some revenge on Paul E! That was one wild scene. I got to admit, it was fun seeing Al Madril pop up here. Nightmares get a big win over the Killer Bees, setting them up as serious contenders. I like that subtle turn by Adidas, be interested in seeing him work heel. Then of course what a surprise by Ted Dibiase!!!! Great TV, as the fans get an incredible main event with Dibiase and Martel. I would love to see a rematch down the road when Martel is healthy. These two could really go.
  6. Great card! Looks like Douglas has rubbed off on Dundee, as he gets the win over Mando. Pillman and Burke is so much fun. After this feud, I don't know if Sabu and Jack will ever be the same again. Speaking of feuds, Kabuki and Blackwell have had a wild one, this time Kabuki puts him down for the count. Tanaka and Chavo put on a clinic. Bam Bam gets a huge win over Slaughter, I'm sure Slaughter will get some payback on DeBeers. Hurt arm and all, SpiveyMania continues to run wild. Steamboat and Orton would of been my money match. Great win for Steamboat. I wonder how long it will be before Piper wants a shot???
  7. Great follow up from the Memorial Bash. What a night of returns! This is such the perfect place for the Honkey Tonk Man and I would love to see a Honkey/Lawler feud. Then Terry Taylor returns and is already in a program with Slater, To top it all off, Haku is here! My goodness, things are about to get crazy in the UWF! Great set up with Luger and Gilbert and makes total sense with the woman involved. Doom feeling on top of the world right now and Ron Fuller thinks he is too, but watch out when Bullitt Bob comes back!
  8. Big win for the International Stud Stable. I'm up for a Sugar/Borne TV title bout. Owen and Candido make quite the pair. I could see them going for the belts. Bruce Hart gets a well deserved shot at the National title.
  9. Zenk continues his winning ways, has he even lost a solo match yet? Regal/Finley never disappoints. Once again Shane has the number of a Guerrero. I would love to see more Razor Boys/Sheepherder matches. Martel gets the ultimate mystery partner in the 8th wonder of the world. I could just imagine the pop Andre got. The Adams storyline just got more intriguing as he's out of the Syndicate but like you mentioned, who will stand by him??? Piper does it again, beating Jake in the cage. Jake just cant seem to get one over on Piper. Steamboat and Bock deliver! What a finish!!!!
  10. Cool to see the Batten Twins involved in what should be a fun program with Boyd and Crusher. Singh continues his winning ways as he gears up for TNT. Very ominous words from Los Mercenarios on the Sports Shop. I hope the Caribbean Express are on full alert. Loved the makeshift tag team main event as the crazy veteran cowboys rub off on the youngsters. Really added fire to both feuds. Once again, awesome job with the interviews.
  11. A lot of fun matches here, LOL yea Larry Z doing the karate gimmick is pretty great but looks like Kabuki took him to school. Adams has been so intriguing as of late and looking forward to his showdown with Garvin. Loved that Burke/Pillman match and looks like we'll be getting more. Slaughter and DeBeers is going to be a huge money making feud. Spivey gets the win but looks like he took some serious damage to the arm. Great seeing the Martel appearance and cant wait to see who he gets as a partner.
  12. Anytime you want them to appear in Texas, you got them!
  13. I'm having a lot of fun with the 10,000 dollar angle. Having JJ help with this really adds a layer to it. It's also great having talent from other territories come in for the challenge.
  14. It's great to book the Road Warriors as dominating monster champs and the Memorial Cards really solidified them as that.
  15. I actually contemplated on Dibiase bringing back the black glove but I already had Mulligan doing that gimmick.
  16. Glad you caught that countout spot and you're exactly right. I used this specifically for Fuller to get the cheap win and continue the feud. Idol took out his frustrations on Fuller rather than the Ref.
  17. Mr. Wonderful had such a great AWA Title run, that when I got him, I wanted to carry that momentum and make him a champ. I have a lot planned for him as a top star.
  18. What a great promo by Dibiase! This bounty on Rhodes could be one of the biggest storylines in the NWA! It kicked off with a bang as Link went for it but it's going to be a tough task taking out the Dream. I'm loving the Parsons/Onyx storyline. And now that Parsons regained the TV title, he brings credibility to his words. Kamala and the Funks do a number on Lawler but he comes back with a measure of revenge. That Freebirds/Garvin, Embry, Big Bubba match would of been a lot of fun to watch live. Dream and Hansen go at it with Hansen bringing in the bullrope! Things are really heating up with those two.

US Tag Team Title Bout Rocky Johnson and Wendell Cooley © vs. The Fabulous Blondes w/Rock Riddle No Rock Riddle as he's still recuperating in the back. Ok fans joining me right now is another man with a score to settle. Terry Taylor, come on in. Terry it seems Rip Oliver and Paul Jones are having issues with you. Taylor: They have issues because I got sick and tired of watching them attack Jimmy Valiant time and time again. And as you peons out there can see, this environment is a whole lot better than that outdated place, Mid Atlantic calls a studio. (Laughs) Now Duggan, wealth is what it's all about and my wealth is deeper than dollars because I'm rich in ring ability and well off in wrestling skills. (Laughs again) Duggan, a blue collar moron like you will never get the bottom line and that bottom line is money is everything and this title is my biggest prize! This title proves why the Crockett's paid me the big bucks! And there's no way a moron like you will ever hold this prestigious title! The show ends with Dibiase laughing then picking up his menu.
  22. The TV title tournament has been very intriguing. Hennig is looking good with a nice win over HTM. I liked the finish to the Muraco/Billy Jack match. How awesome was it to see Arn and Wahoo going at it in a WWF TV title tournament. Very interested in seeing where this Roma injury goes. The Harts and Russians looked like some fun matches on the loop. You cant go wrong with Flair and Santana going almost an hour. What a segment to end with as Flair rips up the contract and the Horsemen give Hogan a beating. Their eventual showdown will be a money making blockbuster and the fact that no footage has been seen of Flair's title win adds so much to this mystique.
  23. Owen on the Sports Shop was priceless. I'm looking forward to that alliance. Owen showed serious brutality against his brother. The Singh/TNT feud continues to be one of my favorites. I know El Profe is up to something but I cant imagine what. I'll get my answer on July 5th. Solid TV debut for the Battens. Invader 2 seems to be 100%. Bam Bam BIGELOW makes a huge statement tonight. Very good promo. Once again I love how the announcers continue the storylines. My favorite line "I cant believe the fans have that much garbage left" LOL
  24. Bawh Gawd! What a supercard! This was so well written and what a night of twists, turns and title changes. Nikita has done it! The most dangerous man in the NWA, now holds the World Title. After all that out comes Baba, what an ending! Really liked the opening matches to get the crowd going. Warrior and Khan is my guilty pleasure match tonight. I guess I should of seen it coming LOL, but I was still surprised when Fuller turned on Armstrong. Luger blows the feud off with Dr. D and gets Baby Doll as well. Another twist I didn't see coming was Ray Candy! The Nation looked dominant as they attacked Reed, Simmons and Atlas. RnR Express win the titles in style by throwing the Midnights off the Scaffold! Another surprise as Missy helps Hot Stuff send Rich packing. That was one awesome feud! Things get way out of hand with the Road Warriors/Devastation Inc title match. Who is this new alley??? And of course Magnum TA gets a most deserving UWF title run. Great show with a true Mid South 80s feel.
  25. Lots of great stuff happening in the AWA this week. I like the Douglas/Guerreros feud going on. Great way to get Douglas over but man when it comes to 6 man tags, the Guerreros rule that match. The Spivey/Rotunda alliance continue to dominate. Sabu has taken Piper's Pit to another level. Poor Jake just cant seem to find a way to beat Piper. Zenk continues his winning ways. Loved that Zenk/Pillman match. Black Irish and British Steel continue to put on great hard hitting matches. I'm liking this Chris Adams and he sneaks a pin on Garvin in that tag match. Heck, I would also love to see a Steamboat/Adams match.
