  1. AWA Special TV Presentation Ken Resnick: Hello AWA fans and welcome to this very special TV event. At SuperClash 2, former AWA world tag team champions Jumbo Tsuruta and Tatsumi Fujinami wrestled each other in an absolute classic, with Jumbo edging out the victory. Japan couldn't wait to sign the rematch. That match happened earlier this week in Tokyo and tonight you're going to see that match. Get ready, here we go. From the Tokyo Dome Jumbo Tsuruta vs. Tatsumi Fujinami Before the match, there's a grand ceremony consisting of dancers, streamers and flowers. The introductions of two of the most well respected and revered Japanese wrestlers are made. The bell rings and it's go time! The first few minutes is wrestled cautiously as both men trade holds and takedowns. Things pick up when Tatsumi goes for a back suplex but Jumbo reverses it and sends Tatsumi flying with an overhead German suplex. Jumbo follows with a gut wrench suplex, vertical suplex and back breaker before applying the Boston Crab. Tatsumi fights with all his strength and is able to reach the ropes. Jumbo swings Tatsumi to the ropes and goes for a back drop but Tatsumi stops and hits a double underhook DDT! Tatsumi regroups. Jumbo staggers up as Tatsumi puts him down with a front dropkick. Tatsumi goes on a suplex rampage before hitting a rib breaker. Tatsumi swings Jumbo to the ropes and applies an abdominal stretch. Jumbo fights hard and finally hip tosses Tatsumi over. Jumbo tries to regroup but Tatsumi quickly backslides him 1..2..Kick out. Tatsumi swings Jumbo to the ropes but misses a clothesline, Jumbo swings back and puts Tatsumi down with a high knee. Jumbo gets up and swings Tatsumi into the corner and charges in but Tatsumi raises his knees as Jumbo hits them head on. Tatsumi executes a belly to back suplex backbreaker and follows with his dragon suplex 1..2..3!!! The fans show these two the upmost respect with a long applause. After a couple minutes, Tatsumi and Jumbo shake hands and bow to each other. Winner of the match- Tatsumi Fujinami
  2. Lance and Dutch are so good together. This dynamic works. The thing I love about smaller territories is it gives guys who might've been lost in the national shuffle a chance to shine. Big Money Marcus is in a good place. Jarrett promises to bring wrestling back to the way it was. he'll have his work cut out, dealing with some of these heels. Yes! The Fabulous One is home. Douglas sets high standards using the Franchise moniker. Oh, how the game has missed Ron Wright. Sawyer gives the show a fun moment by upsetting the Hood. DWB would be an excellent acquisition for Wright. Dutch gives pointers to the Franchise LOL, but I don't think he liked Shane's comeback. And the first feud is set. Can't go wrong with the classic Russian monsters going up against the all American babyfaces. Great format. The show flowed really well. The big question is, will the King eventually show up?
  3. Charlotte Smiley gets his shot. Morgan puts an end to Billy Joe's win streak. After that win, the Renegade Warriors should find a partner and go after the 6 man titles. The fun midcard feud between Bart and Kaz continues. Huge win for the Commandos! Defiantly their biggest. Taylor better thank Jimmy Jam. Smiley comes up short, but getting a handshake from Flair puts him over. Albany The Haitian Sensation is a solid guy to put in the opener. Kabuki shows that his thrust kick has some serious impact. Great week for the Commandos. Hase puts a stop to the Moondogs cheating. SSM gets a big win over Finlay but gets into an immediate fight with Kabuki. Moondogs get payback. LOL, love the New Breed's reaction. Fun impromptu main event as SSM and Zero Fighters send the fans home happy with a win over Paul Jones's army.
  4. Can't go wrong with Muta opening up a televised special event. Once again, I like how your elevating Sabu and Taz by feuding with Snuka. Damn! Twin Towers send a strong message to the Road Warriors. I'm loving the International feud between Konnan and Pegasus. Gets both men over. Rockers pull it out against the Islanders. I wonder who's next? If you want to make a name for yourself, then attack Dusty Rhodes. Watch out because the Predator is on the hunt. The Savage/Freebirds feud continues with more nuclear heat. Savage might need some friends. Steamboat solidifies himself as the true undisputed champ! Nice sportsmanship at the end. Steamboat has an incredible Dawn of War resume. Love the addition of the figures at the end. You've built up quite the collection. Nice!
  5. Aloha! Smart booking having Steamboat kick things off with an exciting visual and c.o. win over the imposing Big Cat. Southern Boys move up a notch by beating the Hollys in a very competitive match. Perfect showcase for a stacked tag division. Animal has taken his spot amongst the PCW big boys. Both Blackman and Snow have rebounded well. That win over the Malenkos solidifies this. The Cheetah Kid's stock is rapidly rising. He also showed he can mix it up when need be. Pierre might be the toughest guy in PCW. After that win over Cactus, the competition better take notice. Owen puts up one heck of a fight, but in the end, Buzz really finished him off well. This is one of my favorite feuds. WOW! Backlund's incredible Submission reign comes to an end at the hands of Severn. Outstanding match! Feel good celebration really put the match and title over. Once again LHW champ Pillman gives the fans a show. The LHW matches continue to shine. I thought for sure the Wild Things would take the titles. Nice jo keeping this chase going. I must say, the British Steel story has been one heck of a roller coaster ride of emotions. Bret vs. Anvil was the epic showdown I was waiting for and man did they deliver. Bret retains but Anvil made him earn it. Aloha Night 2! Bull gets the big win, but Christopher is making a name for himself. Taker gets the shine in the heated 6 man tag. Rose and Billy Jack is the classic PCW feud. So glad you went back to these two. FOJ and SCS's have been great additions. Babyfaces get the win tonight, but no way the Playboy Club are finished. You know I popped when my man St. Clair avenged his loss against Payne. Golden Guns edge out a win over the Suicide Blondes in another young teams showcase. Hall's on a different level this time around. Flowers found that out. RPG has some serious bragging rights coming after his Destruction Crew get one over on the Midnights. This feud has a lot of steam and could become one of the biggest in the game. I agree, Coast to Coast are legit! The odds were against them, but man they prevailed. Hennig and Widowmaker tear it up! Chaos ends the night with factions going at it. Can't wait for the rematch. Awesome show! The tag division got over. Cheetah Kid might be Pillman's next challenger. Some big wins by some big heels, which means babyface champs, Severn, Hitman, Hall and Hennig have a variety of challengers to work with.

Chicky Starr struts in the ring and hugs DDP and high fives Badd Co. Synergy and DJ turn the boos into cheers as they enter the ring. The match is back and forth non stop action. Badd Co. and Synergy are in the midst of a heated rivalry and it shows tonight. DJ comes in and pinballs everyone with his power moves. Chicky shows he's worth every penny as he puts on a solid performance. Things get nuts and all 6 men start brawling. The Ref is tied up with Synergy and Badd Co. BOOOOS as the Vin Man and Kevin Kelly come out. DJ goes to the top rope but Vinnie distracts him, which allows Kelly to come from behind and push DJ off the top rope. Carlos Colon will be here as well as the AWA world champ Bad News Brown. Let's get to our final match. Winner gets a TV title shot at Title Night Brad Rheingans w/Mark Fleming vs. Dave Taylor w/Giant Haystacks Brad and Taylor put on a wrestling clinic for the first few minutes with neither man gaining an advantage. Things heat up a bit as Taylor starts blasting Brad with European uppercuts. Taylor executes a snap suplex 1..2..Kick Out. 7. Ladd's a man of his word. Doesn't have favorites and settles things in the ring. Ladd is the man! Super D is hot on Duggan's trail and wants that TV title. Jake and Ellering are so damn good together! It's great to see Reed back in Mid South. Him and Luger are going to pack the houses. Adnan wants out of his match tonight but Ladd makes things plain and simple for him. The Barbarians rock as a team! I'm so glad we finally get to see these two team up. WOW! Dr. Death takes down Vader in a big way! Luger is going to have his hands full with Death and Reed coming after him. JYD gives the fans and viewers a most satisfying moment. Adnan felt the pain of the thump LOL. Like Luger, Dibiase is in big trouble with JYD and Jake getting title shots. I really like how you've set up multiple contenders for the top titles. Ladd has Mid South clicking on all cylinders!

  9. Great job hyping up the clash. Taz and Sabu get their big TV break by getting some serious heat on Snuka. Feuding with Snuka will certainly elevate those two. The promo were full of energy, especially Steamboat. Bring on the Clash!
  10. This is going to be awesome! Jarrett can now fully get back to running things his way. Lance and Dutch are the perfect balance. The deal with Turner, the big signings and the uncertainty of Lawler. Can't wait to see how all this plays out.
  11. Royal gets crafty to get the win over Cocoa. I always liked it when a wrestler had a gimmick name for his finisher. 'Just a swingin neckbreaker' is a perfect example. Jones and his monsters send a strong message. Morton eeks one out over Dundee in a sweet match up. Ron is a man on a mission! Jimmy Jam has a tough road ahead. I like how SSM communicates with notes. Very creative idea. I've always had some difficulties trying to get messages across by foreign babyfaces. This is exactly why I'm going to use Mando as a mouthpiece for Canek. Golden will be a nice back up plan for Fuller in his TV title defenses. Worldwide, Smiley, Commandos and Morgan get nice showcases. Get ready Fuller, because former champ Wright is coming after you. Good idea paying homage to the NWA's history with the Heritage title. A lot at stake come Superbrawl. Jimmy Jam adds intrigue to the Garvin feud. I'm sure Ronnie will have no problem finding a partner. The NWA is really clicking!
  12. AWA TV @ The Hammond Center 2-17-88 Larry Nelson: Hello AWA fans and welcome to another edition of AWA Major League Wrestling. As you all know, the AWA returns to Winnipeg Canada this weekend for a huge card. Those wrestlers appearing have already arrived in Winnipeg. Corporal Kirchner vs. Trent Watkins Kirchner hoists his opponent on his shoulders and hits the Fireman's Carry Slam for the win. Kirchner parades around the ring, waving the American Flag, then heads over to Nelson. Nelson: Corporal Kirchner, you've certainly had your hands full with Richard Charland and his manager Frenchy Martin. Kirchner: Charland! It's time we settled this once and for all! You and me in a boot camp match! I hope you heard me Frenchy. Does your man have the guts to accept? Commercial Break United Kingdom vs. Hal Connors and Louie Rawlings Taylor knocks Connors block off with a spinning forearm blast. Haystacks follows with a giant elbow drop for the win. Wait a minute! The Gunslingers hit the ring with a bullrope! They double clothesline Haystacks with the bullrope! They turn around and double clothesline Taylor with the bullrope! The fans are going wild. Commercial Break Nelson: My goodness, it looked like the Gunslingers got a little payback on United Kingdom for that chair shot last week. Ok, switching gears, tomorrow night in Winnipeg, Bad News Brown defends the AWA world title against Al Perez. Perez gave Brown a lot more than he bargained for at Title Night. Let's here some pre recorded comments from Al Perez. Perez: Man, I came so close to achieving my dream of becoming AWA world champion. However, I came up short. No excuses, I've studied that match and learned from my mistakes. I've been given another golden opportunity and believe me I'm going to win that title! Nelson: No doubt about it, Perez is focused and determined. Another match that takes place in Winnipeg will be the Carribean Death match between Carlos Colon and Abudda Iaukea. Let's take a look at their history. A music montage of the Colon/Iaukea history is shown to Jimi Hendix's Purple Haze. Commercial Break Chicky Starr vs. Neil Jordan Starr arrogantly walks to the ring in an athletic sweatsuit and towel around his neck. Starr swings his opponent to the ropes and puts him down with a double thrust, then follows with a corkscrew elbow drop for the win. Starr wipes his face with his towel and throws it down on his fallen opponent. Commercial Break AWA National Tag Team Title Bout Venomous (C) vs. The Original Midnight Express w/Norvell Austin Venomous controls the early segment and have the Midnight's in total disarray. Thanks to a distraction by Norvell, Midnight's are able to change the tide. Midnight's regroup and show why they're one of the best cohesive units in wrestling. They hit double slams, double suplexes and stereo high knees. Venomous ride the storm out and makes a serious comeback by putting their high flying offense to work. We get a pier six brawl. Venomous double dropkick Condrey out of the ring. They stereo kick Rose and double snap suplex him. Ding, Ding, Ding! The 10 minute time limit has expired. Norvell and Condrey help Rose out of the ring. Norvell raises his men's hands up and says they should be the champs. The Ref hands the titles to Venomous. Venomous raise them high as the fans cheer. Commercial Break The camera zooms in on the glowing pink 'Beauty Shop' sign, then pans down to Brenda Britton. Britton: Hi everybody and welcome to a very special beauty shop. Commercial Break 'The Wild One' Johnny Rich vs. Bert Stevenson The Wild One by Jerry Lee Lewis blasts on the speakers as Rich high fives fans on the way to the ring. Rich slams his opponent, goes to the top rope and crashes down with a flying elbow drop for the win! Nelson: Johnny Rich, you've been racking up a number of wins here in the AWA. I'm sure you would like a title shot... Boos as the Dream Machine walks out. Dream: Johnny! Johnny! Johnny! What the hell are you doing babay? Rich: Not sure I follow Dream. Dream: Come off it! Your cousin Tommy was a legend in the AWA. In my opinion, the greatest AWA world champ of all time. Now you come in here, talking about redeeming the Rich name. Coming out here dressed as some 50's greaser, being all buddy buddy with these idiots out here. So, again, what the hell's the matter with you? Why don't we hang out and let me talk some sense into you. Rich: Look Dream, I am trying to redeem the Rich name and with all due respect I would like to do things my way. Dream: You really are a stooge, you know that. Accidents happen around here and when they do, you're going to wish you had a friend babay! Commercial Break Nelson: Fans, with me now is Mando Guerrero. Mando, I understand you won't be in Winnipeg because you wanted to make a special announcement tonight. Mando: That's right, but don't worry because I know my brothers and Austin Idol will handle business with George and the Fortunate Ones. Larry, as you know I've been on the sidelines for a bit. During that time, I went out and got my manager's license. Of course my brothers Hector and Chavo are with me. and right now I would.... Massive boos as Greg Gagne comes slowly walking out. Nelson: Hold on Greg! What are you doing here? You're suppose to be in Winnipeg. Gagne: Hey Larry, how about noticing that I'm out of that wheelchair and walking. Man, I really can't stand you! The Doctors said because of my excellent health I was able to heal quicker than the average man. As for you Mando, I have an announcement as well. Making his triumphant return to the AWA, Gagne's Gang's newest member, Crusher Blackwell. Nelson: Oh no! Mando, maybe we should just get out of here. Blackwell strolls up to Mando and stares him down. Mando: Hold on Larry. Greg, you interrupted my big announcement. Gagne: Well, these will be your last words, so I hope they're memorable ones. Mando: Oh they are. Please welcome out my newest client. El Canek! Canek storms out and plows over Gagne! Canek and Blackwell have a wild and furious exchange! Mass security and officials run out. Punches and bodies are flying everywhere as the commercial hits. Commercial Break AWA TV Title Bout Larry Zbyszko (C) vs. Scott 'Powerhouse' Putski Zbyszko backs Putski away as the bell rings. "This is the power that makes the sky crumble and the earth shake!" AAAAHHHHH!!!!! The Ultimate Warrior is coming to the AWA!
  13. The NWA rocked both Greensboro and the Omni! Still lov'n Radiance Billy Joe should have a great time in the NWA. Mega Man gets the best of an overzealous Morgan. Great match up! I always liked the classic booking of feuding wrestlers interfering in each other's matches. Keeps the heat going. Zero Fighters beat Jones's army at their own game. Trinity have looked like unbeatable monsters since regaining their 6 man titles. Damn! 60 minutes of Flair and Tully. Hell yea! Ron Starr lives up to his 'Rotten' moniker. Warriors move up a notch, defeating the always credible Tough Guy Inc. Abby has been rebuilt so well here. With the Andersons gone, Wright is able to focus and get the win over the youngest Anderson. Dundee's Bombs Away puts down the Mega Man. Props to Debeers for holding his own against Brody. Hopefully we get more of this. Like Greensboro, the Atlanta fans are treated to a main event classic, with the Andersons taking RnR to the limit.
  14. Super D looks tuned up and ready for Duggan. Vader's stock is going way up, especially after that win over Goliath. At this point in time, Herc and Rick Steiner would be one fun hard hitting match up. Scotty gets a big time win over Gilbert. I think Gilbert and Missy will have words with Rick. Snake gets payback on Nord as he gets closer to Dibiase. Thanks to Goliath, Duggan is able to finish off Rotunda. Reed is back baby and the crowd loves it! Adnan finally gets some interference in as he helps Dibiase retain over JYD. DAMN!!! Vader goes through the cage and splashes Williams! What a stunning visual. Vader vs. Williams is going to rock! Reed gets involved and shows Luger his power. I'm all for Reed going after Luger's title. Great set ups here.
  15. A lot of intrigue heading into the Clash. Bigelow is on the verge of snapping. On the flip side, Steamboat remains calm and focused. I wonder what Race has in store for Rhodes. Savage vs. the Freebirds is going to be money! Looks like Snuka can be thrown in there as well. Can't wait until the Road Warriors and Twin Towers collide. With all that going on, Konnan and Pegasus have a very cool storyline going on. Everything is really coming together in WCW.
  16. Both men came out looking strong. Synergy and 'Dynamite' DJ Peterson defeated 'Mr. Magnificent' Kevin Kelly and Badd Co. w/DDP and the Vin Man- Action packed roller coaster match that had the fans on the edge of their seats for 30 minutes. One of the highlights was Adias hitting a slingshot press (to the outside) on both DDP and Vinnie. During a pier six brawl, Rice won the match with a sunset flip from the top rope on Tanaka. DJ and Kelly kept fighting up the aisle. 'Quebecer' Richard Charland w/Frenchy Martin defeated Billy Jack Strong by DQ- Strong was DQed, when Corporal Kirchner hit the ring and attacked Charland. After the match, Kirchner apologized to Strong and Strong seemed to understand. AWA World Tag Team Title Bout The Bruise Brothers (C) vs. The Glamour Boys The Glamour Boys have been putting up some solid outings against the champs on the loop. Tonight was no different. The Glamour Boys had the fans up and cheering with their high octane offense. On the flip side, the Bruise Brothers literally focused on their strengths and put their incredible power to work. In the end, Doll went for a flying press on Cameron, but Cameron caught him and powerslammed him over for the win.
  17. I like this new aggressive side to Steamboat. Pierre is sort of the tough guy gatekeeper. Buzz got the win but it wasn't easy. The family storyline works so well with Lee and Taker. Looking forward to watching this play out. Bull is coming on strong, I'm glad my man St. Clair was able to pull it out. Never underestimate the Southern Boys. Cheetah gets over, even in defeat. No shame losing to the Widowmaker. Cow Palace, Malenko's show they're in contention as well. Animal continues his onslaught. Cornette has quickly made a difference with Christopher. His match with Cyrus shows the LHW division is up there with the stacked tag division. The FOJ/SCS feud is gaining momentum. Rose adds a lot to it. British Steel retain but the Wild Things are closing in. Hennig vs. Flowers is a fun match up. Hennig retains but Flowers is a legit contender. Fresno, Cheetah Kid rebounds and will be a serious LHW contender. Golden Guns get a key win over the Holly's. Watch out! Big Cat is pissed! I know Bret was watching Anvil's win over Owen. Cornette gets some good bragging rights over RPG. However, this one is far from over. Pierre knocks down another tough customer. Regal put up a fight but Backlund is the submission king. Brigade and NOE get crazy to end the night. Damn, get ready Hawaii because 2 stacked nights of action are coming!

Nelson: (Rolls his eyes) My apologies. Our new AWA TV champion, Larry Zbyszko. Larry, you ended the amazing 13 month reign of Nick Busick. Zbyszko: Let me stop you right there. Of course I did! In Winnipeg you will feel the wrath of the Russian Nightmare! Nikita does a trap pose. Nelson: Carlos, last week Abbuda Iaukea returned in a brutal way and challenged you to a Carribean Death Match, you accepted and that match will happen next week in Winnipeg. Colon: Abbuda! I finally exterminated your father from the AWA. I thought this was over but I was wrong. Abbuda comes running out, Colon turns around as Abbuda throws a fireball! However, Colon dodges it! Nelson runs away as an enraged Colon tackles Abbuda! Colon pounds away as officials quickly run out to break this up. Commercial Break 'Dynamite' DJ Peterson vs. 'Mr. Magnificent' Kevin Kelly w/The Vin Man Vinnie bails as DJ goes to town on Kelly. The first couple minutes is all DJ as he pinballs Kelly all over the place. A trip by Vinnie changes the momentum and Kelly takes full advantage. Kelly puts his power to use and hammers away on DJ. Brian: If those goody goody technicians want to try, then bring it on! Commercial Break 'Crippler' Ray Stevens vs. Noah Rogers Stevens is brutal and aggressive before hitting the piledriver for the win. Nelson: Ray Stevens, I was shocked at your actions last week. Rip Oliver is in the hospital thanks to you piledriving him on the concrete. Stevens: That man made a mockery of the crippler name. I came here to show the world what a crippler is. Rip Oliver! When and if you're ever cleared to wrestle again, Crippler Ray Stevens will be waiting! Commercial Break Kokina w/Professor Bill Ash vs. Winston Thorpe Kokina hoists Thorpe up and hits the Samoan Drop for the win. Nelson: Professor, you and Kokina will have your hands full with Billy Jack Strong. Ash: Being a Professor means I'm a very smart man. Billy Jack Strong stuck his nose in our business because of respect for Nick Busick. In my book, that makes him an idiot. Where's Busick? That's my point! Billy Jack Strong, it wasn't worth it and you'll realize that when Kokina tears you apart limb by limb. Commercial Break Winner gets an AWA TV Title shot next week Scott 'Powerhouse' Putski vs. Jerry Stubbs w/Gary Young Young announces that Greg Gagne hooked him up with a one night manager's license. 19. Butch Reed is a friend indeed! Great to see him back! I was hoping sooner or later this would happen. The Barbarians have joined forces! Can't wait for their inevitable showdown with Herc and Steiner. Poffo gets in an impressive debut. Herc and Steiner are some bad dudes. Loved the Jake and Ellering promos. Gilbert and Missy talked a lot about family but wouldn't let Rick get a word in. I wonder how long Rick is going to take this? Super D wants Duggan bad! Will Woman and Luger remain this confident come match time with Dr. Death? Thanks to Super D, Rotunda retains. Duggan's going to get his payback, only a matter of time. Gordon's right, I would love to see that Lakefront card live.
  20. Wright and Finlay is one hell of a way to kick things off! Finlay gets the win with a pretty brutal finish. Good to see Ross getting some shine. Forming the special forces with the Commandos is brilliant booking. WOW! Didn't see this coming as Radiance brings in Jimmy Jam and Precious! Now we have a big time brothers feud! This is going to be awesome! I like that you reignited the Moondogs/Youngbloods feud. I enjoyed their previous feud and now they get to go at it on a national stage. Lightfoot's heel run gets better and better. What a promo! Street and Dundee are focused and ready for the RnR Express. Can't wait for the rematch! After some wild chaos, Fuller is the new TV champ! I liked SSM's reign and it put him over with the NWA fans, but man Fuller's reign is going to be so much fun. His promos alone will make for some great TV. Worldwide, Solid showcases for Starr, Brown and Tough Guy Inc. Jaggers vs. Fuller will be all sorts of Southern fun. Yamada and Hase are going to help SSM get some payback on Jones and thugs. SuperBrawl is really shaping up to be something special.
  21. The Gauntlet match was so much fun! Great idea to crown a TV champ. Orton looked good. Konnan and Pegasus give the fans a taste. Freebirds do the numbers game. In the end, the Superfly stands tall with the belt. So happy to see Snuka wearing gold. Good set of promos that set things up well for Clash of Champions. Very interesting concept with the US champ being able to cash in the title for a world title match. Adds a lot of intrigue. Steamboat and Bigelow will have a banger of a rematch. Road Warriors and TT's is going to be explosive! And The American Dream is back baby!
  22. The round tables have added so much to the storylines. Good work on a very creative idea. Well it was only a matter of time before Sullivan drew Roop in. Sullivan will do anything it takes to get Maha back. Smart move getting Lawler out there on the mic. Humperdink's building an army of his own and Black Tiger's coming in. As each week passes another layer is added. This is what keeps viewers tuning in. After watching that promo, Humperdink might want to enlist Roop. Hansen vs. Leduc will be chaos!

Larry Zbyszko has been announced as the substitute. You were allowed a week to prepare but chose to defend that title tonight. Are you sure you want to do that? I know you've been having issues with your shoulder. Busick: Yea, this shoulder has caused me some issues. Because I was getting it looked at yesterday, I was unable to watch Billy Jack's back. I felt I should've been there for him since he was there for me. As far as defending the TV title tonight. I said I would be a fighting champ and I've been just that for over a year. Ken, I'll be ready for Zbyszko. Resnick: Ok, there you have it. Let's get the night going. AWA National Tag Team Title Bout Venomous (C) vs. The Technicians Venomous defeated the Technicians at SuperClash to win the titles. Technicians were prepared for the rematch until an unexpected attack by Mean Streak tampered that. Technicians were obviously still feeling the effects but managed to keep Venomous grounded with some solid mat work. Technicians turned things up with some intense grappling and scientific wrestling. Venomous got things going their way and turned things way up the high flying offense. Pierre earning Anvil's respect is pretty damn impressive. Sin City Superstars pull out an old trick on the Force. Rose has taught them well. WOW! First, I was surprised Cornette chose Christopher but oh man I wasn't expecting Vic to show up. It all pays off. Cornette is a very smart man. Portland, Going the distance with the Malenkos is a moral victory for the Weapons. St. Clair vs. Buzz! Bring it on! Tony defiantly lived up to his tough moniker. Even in defeat, Jimmie Lee made a name for himself. Hennig is such a great underdog champ. Eugene, Cornette is quickly working wonders with Christopher. How did you think of this pairing? Genius! Furnas has really gotten his power over. AD said it best. RIP Perez. Cheetah has had some momentum going but Cactus put a stop to it tonight. If he keeps these kinds of wins up, Hall might be looking at a lengthy CA title run. Barnburner tag title match to end the night. I popped when I saw this match posted. Looks like we're going to get more. Oh yea!
  25. Paul Jones has his Moondogs looking like serious threats. Jaggers is always a solid hand. Morgan's path of destruction continues in the NWA. The Commandos and Trinity would be some fun brawls to watch. Garvin kos the Gigolo. Hase walks out with a big win over Kabuki. Taylor vs. Manny is a perfect main event for this venue. Fun match. Greenville, Finlay gets his big shot. Having the Andersons mentor young Brad is a great way to build this kid. First Gigolo gets ko'd and now Chic gets the Combat kick. Not a good wknd for Radiance LOL. Kaz and Bart have a fun little feud going. I can see Borne really breaking out this year, especially with Jones in his corner. New Breed add more heat with the SPC. Tully and Wright would be a real treat. Flair continues to retain against all comers.
