I wouldn't have even known of obscure Japanese indies and some old school stuff if it hadn't been from Jahmale. May he RIP.
-
Jungle Boy is ridiculously over since TK purchased the rights to Tarzan Boy. But seriously, I wouldn't mind at all if Jurassic Express beat the Bucks at All Out. Pull the trigger while you can.
-
We're getting Darby vs Daniel Garcia one-on-one and I'm fucking stoked for this.
-
Yeah, I'll try to gradually incorporate some outside presence in the territory from time to time; some temporary, some more permanent.
-
I don't think WALTER will be sweating anything that happens, at this stage. His reputation in the indies is great enough that he could still thrive there. And based on how he was treated in that Survivor Series Match he was part of in 2019, do you really expect Vince, Bruce & Dunn to do anything worthwhile with him?
-
I would be stunned if Odyssey Jones doesn't win the Breakout tournament. Especially with Vince's new edict on NXT. As for Dragunov, count me in as one of those who'd love to see him on the main roster. Fairly easy to rally behind someone like Dragunov who has that relentless attitude in the ring and on the mic. Let's hope that the match with WALTER at Takeover 36 will open some eyeballs.

Both characters are definitely aimed at appealing to a very niche part of the audience that is most definitely not on this board. Personally, I've always liked characters that are outside the box like Alexa's current character but I definitely understand that it can be a massive turnoff for a lot of people. But considering the amount of merch she's been moving in the past few months - and the numerous posts from parents on social media with pics of their little girls dressed like Alexa Bliss and the Lilly doll (hell, even Taker & Michelle McCool's daughter is a huge fan of Alexa), it must be working at some point, thus why they're moving forward with it, even though I think they're moving at snail pace with this. However, the fact that Vince is hoping that Nikki Cross' new superhero character opens doors for merchandise & kids but that she has zero piece of merch released since she debuted the character is so much more puzzling to me than anything else on RAW right now.

They lasted like 10 seconds on TV and those fizzled out rather quickly before Alexa & Doudrop even locked up. And besides, considering that they chanted Happy Birthday to Alexa during the commercial break prior to the match, they don't hate her that much. They clearly do this to annoy Vince & Bruce at this point. It's gonna get as old as the "CM PUNK" and "WHAT?" chants.

NXT names backstage per PWInsider: Xia Li, Aaliyah, Odyssey Jones, Austin Theory & Dakota Kai.

The thing is that truthfully, they lucked into finding people outside of the world of wrestlng like Alexa and Bianca Belair (who was doing track & field before getting into wrestling) who were able to develop solid skillsets and they pretty much became exceptions to the rule. I just hope that they don't completely do away with more natural wrestlers.

That certainly will not ease the profound disdain that Papa H has towards Kevin Dunn.

Man, you got a solid tag team division. As deep as it gets. I could see virtually anyone winning it and be great champs!

August 8th, 1981 Fort Worth, TX The Snowman (w/Rock Riddle) beat Gary Royal in 16:24 Grappler #2 beat "Gorgeous" Gary Young (w/Skandor Akbar) in 22:53 "Superstar" Billy Graham beat Bobby Kay in 14:05 by submission with the bearhug J-TEX CORP members Al Madril, "Crazy" Luke Graham, Masa Saito & Gary Hart are being interviewed by Bill Mercer, hyping Luke Graham's tag match with Al Madril vs Tugboat Taylor & The Great Kabuki momentarily. Gary Hart says it's a matter of time before J-TEX CORP dominates World Class and there's not a damn thing that Fritz & his boys can do about it. They're coming after David Von Erich's Texas Heavyweight Championship and they also want the American Heavyweight title as well! Masa Saito (w/Gary Hart) beat Mike Davis in 10:55 J-TEX CORP (Al Madril & "Crazy" Luke Graham) beat Tugboat Taylor & The Great Kabuki in 13:26 after Kabuki turned on Taylor and spit Green Mist in his face. Kabuki has officially joined J-TEX CORP! Interview time with The Spoiler and his manager, Skandor Akbar. Akbar wants to make The Spoiler the crown jewel of Devastation Inc and a win tonight over Jumbo Tsuruta in the main event will only emphasize that. Akbar promises to scour the entire world to add new members to Devastation Inc and make sure that his stable of men are the most respected in the entire wrestling landscape Kerry Von Erich beat Leo Burke 7:39 with the Claw Brian Blair beat Rudy Kay in 8:21 after a botched interference by Rudy's brother, Bobby. There seems to be a bit of tension between the Kay Brothers but they hug it out afterwards. Gary Royal is interviewed to discuss his loss to the Snowman earlier. Royal vows to prove to Rock Riddle that he's betting on the wrong man in The Snowman. When the ice will be all melt, Rock Riddle will only stand in a puddle of water and Royal will drown him into it so he'll never make that mistake again. Skandor Akbar is back at the interview booth with Bill Mercer, this time with Killer Tim Brooks. Akbar says Brooks is the most dangerous man in World Class because he has nothing to lose and a mercenary mentality; exactly the type of man that Akbar looks for for Devastation Inc. Brooks makes it clear that Akbar brought him in to destroy the Von Erichs, father and sons and he won't rest until he does so. In the main event, Jumbo Tsuruta beat The Spoiler (w/Skandor Akbar) in 8:19

That early 2000 class was ridiculously loaded: Cena, Orton, Brock, Shelton, Batista...
-
So the question to ask now; what do you do with their top stars? Do you get Samoa Joe back to the main roster? What about the O'Reillys, Ciampas & Garganos?

***Sorry for the delay in getting started, work has been hectic and I went on a family vacation last week so now I'm progressively getting the ball rolling. Should be more regularly over the next few weeks!*** World Class @ Sportatorium, Dallas, TX August 7th, 1981 -Steve Travis beat "Gorgeous" Gary Young (w/Skandor Akbar) in 12:32 -King Tonga is getting to the ring for his scheduled match when out of nowhere, Al Madril, "Crazy" Luke Graham make their way to the ring to attack Tonga, lead by Gary Hart. Leo Burke charges the ring to make the save for Tonga. And while this happens, Tugboat Taylor & Superstar Billy Graham are seen brawling with Gary Royal & The Snowman, along with their manager Rock Riddle. Finally, Fritz Von Erich comes out and has had enough. He won't let that first night at the Sportatorium devolve in anarchy and orders 2 tag matches to take place tonight: Al Madril & "Crazy" Luke Graham vs King Tonga & Leo Burke and later tonight, Tugboat Taylor & "Superstar" Billy Graham vs Gary Royal & The Snowman! -Tugboat Taylor & "Superstar" Billy Graham beat Gary Royal & The Snowman (w/Rock Riddle) in 21:36 after Royal accidentally hit The Snowman with a chair. I first was exposed to the NWA & Jim Crockett Promotions when I was 5 years old. And other than the Four Horsemen, the one act that drew my attention was the Midnight Express. As I grew older and my knowledge of the business expanded as well, I learned to truly appreciate the worker that was Beautiful Bobby Eaton. When you were that successful as a tag team wrestler with so many different partners (Dennis Condrey, Stan Lane, Arn Anderson & Lord Steven Regal), it tells the whole story about how great you were in your profession. To me, no one will exemplify tag team wrestlers more than Bobby Eaton. Might watch a Rock N Roll Express/Midnight Express match or two over the weekend.

On a lighter note, I'm fucking excited for Dynamite tomorrow night! FEEL THE FLOW OF 2.0!

Does anybody actually know on which spot Nia Jax busted her face open? That was a nasty gash but yet, the visual looked badass.

Out of curiosity...why are you still watching, then? There are so many great alternatives out there to WWE. Don't torture yourself if it doesn't appeal to you anymore.
