  1. I would bet though that Vince will fight that option as much as he can, knowing that he doesn't want to concede anything to AEW in this. My best guess would be that if he can't for instance shop around NXT and have them land on FS1, then, they're gonna return to the WWE Network.
  2. That's a solid start to choose from. Plenty to choose from. If you're struggling with the roster, DM me. I can send you the list I was telling you about, even if it's from 1981.
  3. She actually posted a video of that session about a month ago on her YouTube account: The vibe I always got from the Alexa Bliss new character is really akin to the kids TV shows like Big Comfy Couch (she admittedly said she watched it to help build her character) but I can understand how for some, it feels so uncomfortable. I'm very well in the minority on this board about her character and I respect all of your stance on it (I like stuff that goes outside the box and feels different but that's just me). My main concern right now is that I just hope that the pre-taped stuff doesn't become a crutch for her character because that won't fly too well once they get filled arenas again. Given the current circumstances, I'm OK with how they're developing it but they have to start immediately to limit those pre-tapes as much as possible. You just can't pull what they did in the main event of RAW during the Women's Rumble Match, you just can't. It would be a logistical nightmare.
  4. I will say this; when I booked Scott Casey & Johnny Mantell as the Gunslingers with Mid-Atlantic, I was hoping that they would eventually catch fire wherever they'd go next and I'm glad to see it's been the case. Quite the solid babyface tag team you got in them with Texas All-Star! Very smart to book someone as loveable as Sunshine as their valet too. It's just a good fit.
  5. I would say that if we could start at 5 territories (or maybe even 4), to get going, that'd be great. With a big database of workers available, it leaves room for a lot of other territories to be open in the future afterwards.
  6. Personally, I don't think they'll get the Rock. Brock and Cena are big ifs, but considering that Mania will have a crowd this year, they'd be tempted to bring Brock back. I'm sure that Rollins will be back in time for Mania but I don't know against who you book him now. As for Edge, do we have an update on his injury progress? Apparently, it was going slower than expected. That's not very reassuring, considering how that Mania turned out.
  7. TV TAPING #4 January 19th, 1986 Centre Paul-Sauvé, Montréal Airing February 14th, 1986 -The Cuban Assassin beat Jose Gonzalez in 11:43 International TV Championship: Tony Garea beat Mr. Ito (w/The Sheik) in 16:38 Special Attraction Match: "Mr. USA" Tony Atlas beat Jos LeDuc in 22:39 In a short promo to conclude the show, newcomer Prince Alofa Fatu established his claim to Milt Avrushin that he aims to win the International TV Championship in 1986 and hopes to impress sufficiently Lutte management as well as champion Tony Garea to make that happen! Airing February 21st, 1986 -Richard "Le Magnifique!" Charland beat Farmer Boy Ipo in 11:01 -Miguel Perez beat Tarzan Goto (w/The Sheik) in 8:17 -Gino Brito beat Spike Huber in 17:08 -Sunny War Cloud beat Moondog Moretti in 8:27 -The Missing Link (w/Sheik Adnan Al-Kaissie) destroys Ron Slinker in :35. After the match, Sheik Adnan brings out another of his protégés, Baron Von Raschke, and Von Raschke applies the claw on Slinker's chest, who's in excruciating pain. King Kaluha makes his first appearance for Lutte to make the save and challenges Von Raschke in a match immediately for the main event! -King Kaluha beat Baron Von Raschke in 8:01. After the match, The Missing Link tries to interfere again but Kaluha is ready and Sheik Adnan have his troops retreat to close the show.
  8. That'd be cool. Consider me in if you're going forward with it.
  9. I also have a list of workers from that time period that you can use if you need it (from a previous project on another site). The date was set in 1981 but I think it'll mostly work for what you're looking for.
  10. Private Party is confirmed to challenge The Good Brothers at No Surrender on Impact Plus on February 13th
  11. I'll echo the general sentiment that this interview completely depicts Jim Herd in a whole different light. He seemed filled with good intentions but a lot of stuff got in the way and ultimately, it fell apart.
  12. Man, once they pull the trigger on Sammy Guevara's babyface turn, they can strap a rocket to him because he's gonna be over AF. I was rooting big time for Sammy/Hager tonight. And I'm very intrigued by the AEW Women's World Title Eliminator. They seemingly are going with the US vs Japan thing for this one.
  13. Would be fun indeed but I'd be shocked if she didn't end up in WWE with her hubby.
  14. Yeah, it's the 20th. Anyway, I wonder if they'll refer to Impact last night with Jerry Lynn helping Private Party becoming the #1 contenders for the Impact World Tag titles.
  15. You can thank his freelance status for that. Not sure that would've happened if he was a full-fledged AAA roster member.
  16. I'm assuming that WWE will closely monitor what the NFL does for the Super Bowl in 2 weeks to plan their protocols and configuration accordingly.
  17. That, I don't remember. I would have to look around.
  18. You guys in Europe were so lucky to get the PPVs on free TV while I had to go with the scrambled feeds in hopes that I could get decent quality. (Although I did have perfect quality for Badd Blood 1997 (in black and white) and for some reason, I was able to watch ECW Guilty as Charged 2000 literally for free)
  19. So, there's actually nobody here who realized that it really was David Krumholz (Barry in NUMB3RS) who spoofed Drew McIntyre in The Dirt Sheet segment?
  20. Lutte Internationale puts Jose Gonzalez & Ron Slinker on the block
  21. I'm certainly not gonna complain about that. But those who hate the character are probably begging for Orton RKOing Alexa tonight. Let's see who'll be happy at the end of the night.
  22. As long as it didn't reach the level of Peyton Manning with the Broncos, though. Sidenote: anyone heard about the reports of Brock Lesnar looking to come back soon to wrestle either Kevin Owens or Bobby Lashley or even both? Apparently, Lesnar now wants to be a babyface and leave the spotlight to the full-timers. Lesnar vs Lashley could be fun.
  23. Yeah, unfortunately for you, it's in French. I basically summed up the gist of it in the description I did in my first post in this thread (I left out most of the neuro-coaching part because that wasn't that important to the topic)
  24. Actually, they stopped airing WWF programming in French in Quebec I would say, at the fall of 1998. I don't even know if Raymond Rougeau & Jean Brassard kept doing the PPV commentary afterwards. But we never had Agius & Chereau here. WCW did eventually air in French with Marc Blondin and Michel Letourneur from the mid-90s to 2000 (I remember they that they were airing WCW PPVs scaled in several weeks at the very end instead of Nitro) - Blondin had been doing WCW on Quebec TV for years - all the way back to 1992-1993 with Richard Charland as the color commentator. Blondin eventually did commentary for TNA and Impact Wrestling with Sylvain Grenier and PCO later until 2014 or 2015 maybe.
