  1. Brazil tied 1-1 with Switzerland after some VR bullshit and poor refereeing. However, our squad was really fucking lenient, like the heel after getting the 1st pin in a 2/3 falls match. Also, the card (thanks, C.S) WWE Championship Last Man Standing Match - AJ Styles © vs. Shinsuke Nakamura Raw Women’s Championship Match - Nia Jax © vs. Ronda Rousey Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match - Finn Bálor vs. The Miz vs. Braun Strowman vs. Rusev vs. Kevin Owens vs. Bobby Roode vs. Samoa Joe vs. one member of The New Day to be determined Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match - Charlotte Flair vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch vs. Ember Moon vs. Natalya vs. Naomi vs. Lana - Roman Reigns vs. Jinder Mahal Intercontinental Championship Match - Seth Rollins © vs. Elias SmackDown Women’s Championship Match - Carmella © vs. Asuka Daniel Bryan vs. Big Cass Bobby Lashley vs. Sami Zayn SmackDown Tag Team Championship Kickoff Match - The Bludgeon Brothers © vs. Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson
  2. Black compensated that horrible Black Mass with another kick that really fucked up Sullivan's teeth. Thought Lars looked like the better wrestler here. Sometimes Aleister's kicks are just... not good looking, and he is not interesting at all as a champion - although much of that is due to the brand being unable to book top champions in recent times. With that said, that's a hard hitting match, something we can all can get behind.
  3. Thankfully this didn't went long - not because either wrestler is bad, but there's only so much you can do with this dynamic before the match gets boring. Cross is great at her character and the fact that she got a kick out of being put to sleep is some great touches but also indicative that NXT books for fetishists sometimes. Shayna is just great. Just vicious as fuck.
  4. A guy got handcuffed and kicked in the head multiple times and also choked. If that ain't violent as fuck, I dunno what is. But overall, great- show. Maybe we are getting spoiled at this point when it comes to NXT: 5 matches, usually with tons of planning behind them all involving people that are over - and in the rare case where people are received with crickets (Oney and Burch) they turn that around in the ring.
  5. This felt uncomfortable to watch at points which I guess was kind of the raison d'être.
  6. Unless either man wants to gouge the eye of the other with the crutch, I have no idea how they can go beyond this. In a vacuum the matches rock but my God the build has been... weird.
  7. My dude Dream gets pro wrestling like no one. From straight up wearing Prince Puma tights to having a Hulk Hogan-based entrance, he is absurdly over, to the point where he outshines RICOCHET. Loved the reference to Rock/Hogan, too. The match itself was tons of fun, with Dream using some of Ricochet's spots early on, and getting overly confident. Ricochet showed that he can absolutely be an incredible all-around performer, as opposed to the shit he was doing with Ospreay a while ago. Reminder: Velveteen Dream is only 22.
  8. What's weirdest about this Ciampa/Gargano feud is that it's booked in reverse. This match should have taken place at NOLA and that one here. I mean, once you book a Loser Leaves Town, it's pretty much a guarantee that it's going to end.
  9. This felt more brutal than their last match. Actually uncomfortable to watch at points.
  10. I dunno guys this feels violent as fuck
  11. Nikki Cross' buzz being put to sleep via choke hold is not something I would expect
  12. Lars wins, hopefully. I'd like to have a monster champion for a change.
  13. I'm actually optimistic about Dream. Dude looks the part, talks the part and carries himself like the part. As fas as all the people from NXT go, he's the closest to a total package they every got.
  14. Fuck yes, he should win all the matches.
  15. VELVETEEN PUMA
  16. That is huge news. They gonna pull some smashing attendance for the 3rd time this year. Greatest year.
  17. Are you kidding? Kimbo Slice vs Dada 5000 was amazing, although I'm not sure if that match didn't make his condition worse, which in turn led to his demise. So yeah. Also this fucking event had 150k ppv buys so the ones making MMA a joke aren't really Phil or Jackson more than Dana if he's booking that sort of shit.
  18. You know, he can keep his stars and do whatever, it's his own scale. But, my God. That first paragraph is some rough stuff.
  19. Remember when Elias was paired with Bobby Roode and that went nowhere? Good thing they are kinda sorta perhaps teasing a heel turn, with him being quicker to trust KO and all that.
  20. Woody Woodpecker had an excellent wrestling-themed episode. Just love that asshole bird.
  21. Not sure if Wendy's should be a positive example when we talk about non-cringeworthy social media engagement. I mean, corporate profiles behaving like real people and cracking jokes (Wendy's and IHOB's debate about burgers comes to mind) is somewhat disturbing. Netflix does the same, and the Brazilian branch has this ultra-woke approach to twitter that sometimes is ultra embarassing.
  22. Right now, only reading One Punch Man. Completely gave up on One Piece, though, as it's just too slow for my tastes - I was up to date back on late 2016 and they still haven't wrapped up the current saga. It's infuriating and I am over that style of storytelling atm.
  23. Zayn being delightfully obnoxious and Lashley doing all that shit under 50 seconds while showing off made that segment work. Kudos to them, I actually had a good time.
  24. I was stomping my feet, really. But to be fair that was an excellent heel move, doubly so since throwing your underling to an inpromptu match just so you can get a cheap shot in is some extra cowardly shit.
