that is wjat i mean if it was I quit I would not be so harsh on how brawl hevey the match was in fact if it was and i quit it i would have rated it a solid **** not while flair funk and tully magnum are just above that **** 3/4 both for me but i would not say there overrated if anyone would say there ***** for me if it over 1/2 star difference between me qand others my rating for austin vs hart is around 63% [ based on the submission match idea] it would be aorund 20% better if it was a quit while the other two mentioned I quit matches are in and around 93-96% rated imo rating by star is new to me i always rated by % ranges but i converted to stars to make it easier for people to get to my system

correct if wrong did not all four flair vs steamboat matches that are on tape one being a fan cam get ***** from dave just asking
-
both Volk han and Yoshiaki Fujiwara are underrated going by there cm Rating han is no even in there and Fujiwara is far fsr to low rated imo
-
Wow. You really stink at this. You are feeling the pressure that everyone knows youre either a phony or a mental patient, and youre being ignored, and this has led you to to try and get a response by shitting on Austin vs Bret. I do appreciate you mentioning Han, I admire the consistency. what im not allowed the have my view on a match and its a legit view to have since it is submission match with no to very little mat work in it it was a good brawl but that was not what i was expecting from a submission match it would by a solid **** if it was an I| quit match but it was not i judge matches in a vacuum i cae not about moments oh the double turn that booking not match quilty bookers book workers work. what you do not like me talking about a sacred cow match i have my isuues with alot of dave's ratings and lack thereof in some cases like his baisef against llpw and modern joshi, as a rule, people say he has a Japan bais fir wrestling belong a global art from the coverage of not us stuff is very low let alone is MMA coverage and it not hard to get Asian MMA shows [ hell Pancrase is even on the ufc service* ] if your mma journalist you need ot cover these shows promotions like OFC Pancrase etc among others there is alot left be desired i would say it would be soccer Journalist not know who a club like M Utd is * i only know about Pancrase being on the ufc service because there is this guy in yt who reviews old Pancrase and he said it is there back the bias argument I do not think he has any my ratings system has biases yes but i will admit if some is a good worker in their style even if dislike that style as i said up before about the dragon gate match
-
as much as i dislike that style there was better matches than that in that style before that in places like m pro for exmaple
-
hart vs austin it was far to brawl driven fir a submission match if it booked as an i quit match i would still think it was overrated but not as so its only three at best of that in the current form lys get knocked now for the overall lack of mat work in a submisson match i first watched in 2007 i read i was a submission matched i always was though hart was a technical guy on a level of a Han, Fujiwara or a maestro but this match showed me thst was not true and austin as shit too. even if this was booked as an i quit match i would say it not as good as Flair vs Funk

Sure, but Fujiwara and rarely if anyone worked the schedule Ric worked, so that's not really a fair comparison... then again how many of flair macnes in his prime were jobber squashes on tv while in his prime I don't think Fujiwara on tape that was under 10 minus so take one give one IMO and also carry jobs Fujiwara has none so that keep is av match ratings up around 4 stars of falir based on what i have seen of ric yes i said he was contstsaty but that is never dropping below a three star match minus the sting luger and Nakita match withc were carry jobs witch i od not rate highly for reasons mention previously iv seen all of Fujiwara UWF tha is on tape and that was solid **** -****3/4 and few fives why cause based o what have seen all matches looed like they were between equals best vs best to me in ring presentation over the booking that matters more in this and sting luger dusty Nakita over all were never on ric level on that 20 x 20 so ivmy eyes they should never have been in the ring with him before you say sting and luger were green while that may be true yes need i bring up ages of ajw top carder in the 1980's your either worthy of the main event or your not is all I'm saying and sing and luger never were imho ready for that main event based on how i judge workers all these debates go its depends how x or y person judges or x or y worker and what system they themselves use

Dragon v s Aj Dragon by far Misawa vs flair Misawa thye had around the same peak while misawa has short active time in decline and plus misawa has more consitsat match quilty fomr how i judge a match none of his main event matches form 1992-2003 were carry jobs[ i never rate carry jobs highly cause i use a bit of real sports logic i expect all main event t be saku vs graice style twp people of the same skill level witch carry jobs are never like that. steamboat vs Bret this is a toss up for me bret had more carry jobs witch im sorry i have never liked and for the reason mentioned above it kills the realism with brakes my SoD of the work or better worded like this using real sport |Logic that should be key ot wrestling booking alot of bret opponents if it was boxing, for example, he would be accused of cherry-picking them cuase there so far below his level in that ring that is another SoD killer for me more direct way of saying it is this they to display there good in that ring to make them a believable champion or otherwise main eventers on his level in the ring and minus Backlund and owen and the bulldogs to some extent in the tag team days [ roids had killed both davey and DK's ability by then ] no one in wwf was on his level.

i never saw sting as good, dusty was good talker but i care not about talking about pure technique its ok for you have youre vires and me to have mine this is like the lawler debate i had with matt D and yes i like brawlers but dusty is not even top ten in that people like morgan were far better at that luger had the look that is all or a better way see why i do not see dusty as good wroker is look at my top 20 workers of all time list and you will see what i think makes a good worker
-
Flair is his peak was the best in the world 1980-1994 based on consistency alone if not match quilty he was put with alot of shit workers sting luger Nikita and dusty and pulled ok matches from them but the last almost decade and 1/5 of his active time knocks him down im sorry hos match wiih HBK was passable at best based on age alone alot of people aged better than Ric Fujiwara for exmaple there about the same age and Aoki vs Fujiwara was my match of the year last year and hes nigh on 70 so yes thta shows in my euys Ric sdaly never aged well in ring wise
-
i loved this match from two of the best Us womens since the days of Ripper and Madusa back in the day [ in Japan at least ] this was top level stuff in modern womens wrestling and would have been a top-level upper mid-card match in the golden age of joshi that is high praise also @mattd im in next week and every week up until the week of july 22nd when not going to be online at all for 9 days
-
What are the actual example examples? an out of left example is Fujiwara i know its not wwe but he's night on 70 and hes works as well as he did when he was 40 and i know hes not a big man but style wise people say Japanese style is more dangerous so there is that but id say vader is the best but he came from football braun from powerlifting what is more athletic as rule ir engenders better cardio conditioning?
-
hes not young at all for someone who has been active for under four years most people his age or younger had more than double is active time I use Naito as example just based on age and what not Naito is a year older but has 4 times the experience being active for nigh on 12 years at this time to Braun's under 4 not ot mention that Naito had to go through harder training being trained at Takada dojo but lets not get in to that.
-
i both of you make a very compelling argument here i like roman fir the style he works hes good but as much as @ EL-P seams to disilike me the idea that the samoans s could try to convince vince to change things is irksome he more right here no one minus me [ this is not about me] seams to bring up the hand shinsuke was delt i know imade that point in very gilb way but yes i think shinsuke was delt a harsh hand
-
What do you consider Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate? I'd take either of those guys and virtually anyone over Scurll. dunne feels more like a 90's new Japan guy than an indy roader so he like zac so diffrent to his peers in the uk wrestling the match that made me in to saber fan was his match with negro i like the measto style when i first saw the match lftaing around i said to my self this let me see a master carry this guy to top level match and i watched i said afther zac was not carried to pulled his weight.

Newsflash : no one gives a fuck. This thread is not about you. Get a grip already. i know that i was answering Milano talking about me that is all is that ok friend

I'm not trying to be rude or condescending because English is my second language too, but I honestly have no idea what you're trying to say. All I can make out is that you like Marty Scurll. Right? out of all the indy road brits hes the best[ i d to not count zac saber a indy roder type style wise he closer to a Classic britsh wreslter] hes soild but that is the best indy road can do these days and that is sad to me

I watched the main matches yes i never tried to derail anything i just state my view on what i see and how i see things. People say i troll becuase of my odd views when i do not troll and i tend not to give out high ratings with ease like alot of people Apologies for the derailment, but couldn't let the last statement pass. You claim "not give out high ratings with ease like a lot of people", yet have 79 matches at 5* in this thread http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/41197-my-match-list/ Then in this thread about 1996 you claim to have over 200 matches rated at 4* plus for 1996 alone http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/39780-1996-moty/ If you're going to make claims like what I've bolded, it's probably not best to make posts that flat out contradict what you claim! I'm not bothered what your response is because you've already derailed this thread enough and now I'm at it! if you combine all the matches iv seen taped your life around 5-8% of them are **** plus are you have miss quoted me there i said i had a lot of **** matches in the 1990's for the whole decade around 250 for 10 year time span most of them between the years of 1990-1995 and for further note those matches are over 90% of my four stars plus match if I was to od my own match tracking topic for every year going back to 1990 you would see my average match rating hang aorund 2.25/5 witch my no means us high if i was the post my full 2000's list fir example most matches would fall in the *** area and for matches since 2010 only two ***** matches ad very few other over the ***1/2 area of rating 1980's in need to examine more thus far i have only three **** plus matches 1 only being a 5 that one being the 5v5 match from new Japan one of my other **** plus matches from the 80's is the match iv posted in the match trades topic for this week i have less **** plus matches than most people around

Yeah, all time terrible booking imo. All they had to do was give him the title in 2015 or not pop him for Adderal in 2016 to keep his run going. He might be historically unlucky coming right after the Bryan thing and being caught up in that shit-storm. Also, if he'd come along even two or three years later he'd have got an NXT run to smark-wash him so people don't have to pretend he's a bad worker for the sake of their narratives. smark wash? Make him acceptable to the sections of the crowd who think you can only be a good worker if youve been in ROH or New Japan Ok the odd thing about that is i wager alot of them are owuld be fans of 90's all japan style wise is all New Japan style wise is its not new japan at it hart any more that is all Most wrestling is now outside of lucha style wise is kings road that is sad do you not think
-
I like Marty is theUS/UK Indy-road wrestlers go he's sold at best this is the best but that is the best we can hope for these days Indie Road is King's road mixed with Indy
-
the thing is roman was just unlucky to be as he began getting pushed as Bryan got over not only with the smarks but with a lot of the causals as well roman was unlucky in the 90's he would have gotten over cause fans were less smart to wwe booking Ideals.
