If I could do an Ole impression, I'd do that show in a heartbeat. -

Oh, and I was laughing so hard at Percy going Ass Up! that I missed that his head cracked the cheap ceiling tile, but it looks like his coke bindle fell off him . Thanks, Happ. 😂 -

Oh, the only thing they had in common was a hairstyle. -

What's annoying is he sees an old clip of something from DDT and uses that as his jumping off point to bitch about these guys. -

Can someone send Vince the Ricochet/ Dijak match so Dijak can take Big Cass's spot?

If it is a weekly drop, it's pretty much the NWA On Demand Houston service, just for pretty much everything.

Podcasts becoming worked shoots where it's all about Twitter outrage may be what's popular right now, but it stinks. -
Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 4

There would be no current WWE without Captain Lou Albano. I just realized that while laughing about how Lou would refuse to be fired. I usually attribute it to loyalty to his Dad's guys, but Lou in the Lauper video is the real spark that ignited everything. -
I have no problem with admitting I loved Attitude Era WWF. There's not a ton of rewatch material but wrestling was never meant to be rewatched. It lived and died on memory. And I remember having friends over for RAW now and again and for every PPV around that time. And it was fun to shit on the stuff like "Meat" while marking out for Mankind.

And that Piper/ Valentine match is amazing. It's wonderful to see the ear based angle start. And Piper started it. He punched Valentine in the ear early in the match and then it escalated. It's fucking awesome.

I love that some gems aren't necessarily great matches. That's not the point. Young RVD vs young Y2J is there for just historical purposes. I want more stuff of established guys young and learning on the job how to do this art.

I don't believe in the idea of guilty pleasures, to be honest. Especially in Pro Wrestling. If you like something, you like it. Unless it's the Benoit Tribute RAW, then I might have to draw a line. But in the spirit of the thread, I LOVE The Godwinns as heels. The simple bad ass just overalls look when they feuded with The Road Warriors was awesome, and I adore the short lived Southern Justice gimmick.

Back on Titans we covered the Legends Battle Royal. It was filmed for I think George Michael's Sports Machine or something like it. We had all these backstage promos with it that were fantastic.

I'm willing to bet that Nak wins the belt at the show.

The Jack Brisco "This Is Your Life" bit has footage of Bobby Shane!

I love that the ad for the NXT England show features Pete Dunne and Mustache Mountain as the stars, especially Dunne. Say what you will, but HHH knows how to promote.

So, Steph is gonna screw Rousey and Jax is gonna be the "Corporate Champ", right?

I think it's less people feeling the need to watch live and more mourning the death of the era where that was possible and / or fun. It used to be enjoyable to sit down and watch a PPV with friends. Now a single PPV (and certainly ever big 4 show) is going to push way past the boundaries of what most people enjoy in one sitting. It sucks that the WWE is basically requiring that their shows be watched later and cherry picked unless you have an insane tolerance for long wrestling shows. At this point, it seems like the WWE wants the PPV is something you basically have on the background while you and your friends are hanging out, doing other things. They don't want fans who are actually watching 100% of the time. That's exactly how it is for me. We barbecue, bullshit, and make sure to watch the stuff we're really interested in.

I've been a New Jersey Devils fan ever since they moved to Jersey from Colorado and had the red and green jerseys. Nothing made me happier than when they swept Detroit in 95 to win their first Cup while all the ESPN talking heads whined and cried about it.

FOX notoriously will cancel shows they don't own. So they must be counting on ad revenue.

I'm considering unsubscribing just to get one of these deals. 😀

I kinda hate the term "vices" for shit you have under control or diet soda. The Vice Squad of 1947 Los Angeles wasn't cracking down on soda pop. 😀 And I love to cook. Italian food has been my go to for years, but lately I've been trying different recipes I find on those recipe sites, for things outside my wheelhouse. Anyone else enjoy cooking? And sharing recipes would be a great use of this thread.

13 years ago I had a bit of a coke problem, then after I quit I got fat. Mainly from drinking too much coke. I quit all soda a year ago and lost a ton of weight. I went from drinking liters a week to drinking only water.

My buddy Wolfman thinks Charlotte is just the height of beauty. He also is the biggest Ric Flair fan I've ever known, so I totally get that he now can think about fucking his idol without having to deal with deeper issues. Which I bring up every time we talk. I'd tell him that I think Tamina is beautiful, but I'm not giving him those jokes, not just yet.
