That is extreme.

William Regal did an interview with MTV UK a few months ago and implied Bryan's royalty checks were huge. Daniel Bryan on Chris Jericho's most recent podcast said that he was earning well but it was only a 'one very good year' type situation.

Really glad to see the show back. Fond memories of the first run of the show. Always like the mix of Wrestling and pop culture references. I think the podcast and blog would really benefit from a Twitter account. I know there was an attempt at one years ago but having one has become more important now. Even if you just post updates and nothing else.

"He's ambitiously stupid" - Why Scott Keith's new book is scary bad
rovert replied to Bix's topic in Megathread archive
He was moved to talent relations for a brief well. Between the period Bruce Pritchard was let go and John Gabruick. He beat Cancer in 2013. No idea what kind but it seemed a fairly serious form. -
Do the people saying Hero is out of shape actually follow his matches? The latest taped match (1 1/2 week ago): Same as he ever was largely

Bix put his Bar Mitzvah money on that great worker Kane obviously.

I believe so. CZWfans trolled the Markout message board - a group of crazy/unsavoury Wrestling and general Celebrity autograph hunters. Things they would do included pretending to be wheelchair bound so that could cut autograph lines or get more face time with Wrestlers. The people who ran CZWfans were WWE employees at intern level and things like that. -
SOOOO glad to have Dave and the show back. It is a sad part of life but I really don't know what I would do if I was in your position the past year,Dave. Dread both days. Obviously the hiatus was more than understandable.

Is TNA the worst wrestling promotion in history?

Fairly typical of fans in that venue during ROH shows. -

One of the other folks who posts on Scott's blog does a daily news update thing. He compiles news from the Observer, Torch, PWInsider, wherever and makes a daily post. He always gives credit to where the news comes from and generally doesn't quote as much as summarizes. I guess someone told Scherer what was happening and now we have this. It's tremendous. I love IWC bitchfests. Other bigger places receive that thing too. Not sure if it is the same person or thing but a summary gets posted on Wreddit and the /wooo/ forum/site on a daily/semi-daily basis. Feel sorry for him being a small businessman but this stuff alienates people truly. PWInsider is a quality subscription too. -
Who's to say Finlay could pass the WWE medical in his mid 50s, goc. I know you can point to matches above but still you never know.

Reader beware it is Wrestlezone but Vince seems to be taunting Wrestlers to unionise with this morale booster: Wrestlers in their traditional clothing:

WELCOME TO RAW IS...Oh, sorry habit, TALK IS JERRRIIICHO!

Drew seems to be the same person I used to see on Indy shows on of which was featured on WWE.com this: http://www.wwe.com/inside/matches-that-changed-their-lives/page-12 One of the most sincere wrestlers you could meet and ginormous Wrestling fan. Really hope WWE hires him back in a year or becomes a big star elsewhere. -

I'm Reviewing Impact Weekly Now For Voices of Wrestling

He will have to review TNA on Youtube in November when SPIKE cancel them. This is just homework for that. -

Well Lagana does write for them. Seriously elements of mid 00s Smackdown and ECW on Sci Fi at the moment. -

2014: His conduct towards fans, wrestlers, promoters have all been greatly praised the past few years. I sincerely don't think substance abuse is an issue anymore. His wife on the other hand is really combustible and full of drama. -
I think poor Dave is overworked:

Bought the magazine this weekend and I wasn't really impressed with it. Still all very squished. The coverage of the international shows was still fairly meagre FSM still covers that stuff in greater detail. Didn't win me over. But yeah the Devitt interview was fantastic. Revealed a shocking amount for someone who is normally so closed publicly. I think he was extra forthcoming due his respect for the magazine as an institution and the thing he would read in class when in school back in the day.

Those were excellent. She doesn't want to publicly bury her peers.

I can buy McMahon and Dunn not being into Paige as she isn't their type. Vince McMahon told Kaitlyn that Vince's ideal Diva as in what Kaitlyn should strive to be was Kelly Kelly. The Adam Rose on Superstars thing is a bit overplaying your hand on the he is being buried front. He had stitches in his head and the Minnesota Wrestling scene is rather tiny and not fully of potential Rosebuds. It is also too far away for the NXT Rosebuds to travel to.

Saddened as a fan but it may be a positive in the long run for the Company if elevating someone new as Bryan is 4 years younger than Cena and likely in worse physical condition generally.

Charlotte, Natalya and the presentation of women in WWE
rovert replied to Loss's topic in Pro Wrestling
I don't see it happening either the McMahon side of the family has only known Moolah's version of Women's Wrestling and descendents of it. Well Becky Lynch debuts the 26th June airing of NXT who certainly will help. She needs to develop her WWE legs but she is probably the best worker they have. Hard to talk about her without a lengthy biography. But she was legit candidate for the best "Wrestler at the Youngest Age" debate. I remember Rob Naylor comparing her to Terry Gordy! I wouldn't go that far but she really ticked all the boxes in terms of the maturity of her ring work, getting over with the crowd. Within two years in Wrestling she travelled from Ireland to the UK, Canada, USA, Japan and mainland Europe based on this crazy amount of word of mouth. She suffered a head injury in Germany and took 6 or years to decide what to do, go to college etc. She arrived in NXT last July. She has been getting strong reviews on NXT live events. What people point to as her best match was a 30 minute 2/3 falls match with Daizee when she was 19 in SHIMMER which was going to setup the first ever 60 minute Iron Woman match. Dave Prazak (the promoter) said it was "probably the best women's match [that he'd] seen on U.S. soil in years, if not ever." The match got strong notices elsewhere. I've never seen a review below ****: http://www.411mania.com/wrestling/video_reviews/67778/Dark-Pegasus-Video-Review:-SHIMMER-Vol.-5.htm#OO7ErVW2pLBUHB1o.99 http://www.pwtorch.com/artman2/publish/DVDs_-_VGames_-_Books_25/article_47879.shtml#.U5YhHvldW_h At the time she was pushed on par with NXT trainer Sara Del Ray. Pre-WWE Bailey, Emma and Paige respectively referenced Becky was an inspiration/favourite wrestler which is funny given how things played out.
