Michael Hayes finally joined Twitter: https://twitter.com/MichaelPSHayes1

  3. In Your Houses went from 2 to 3 hours and WWE raised the PPV prices from $20 to $40 or whatever it was at the time. PPV buys bucked conventional wisdom as the PPV buys increased as the new increased price point. That information came in late in the game of the Bret Hart situation.
  4. Doubt it was a botch. It was something scripted for Total Divas.

  7. They do. At least get booked as an enhancement talent on their TV show.
  8. The absolute must watch episode of ROH TV is up featuring Kyle O'Reilly vs AJ Styles and The Briscoes vs Young Bucks http://www.rohwrestling.com/tv/current Some fierce hyperbole floating around online for it so I won't engage in it but it is something any Wrestling fan will enjoy.

and paid WWE fuck all for it.

    AJ Styles

Especially when this has been a legacy year of him.
  11. Not really. They used it to get KENTA fans in Japan watching on J Sports to tune in to NXT.

Nothing to do with him being the Champ it is to with already said.

I can understand that but this match genuinely had a different purpose. I will acknowledge that my perspective was skewed going into the match as I know where NXT and NXT talent are heading next. This month is really going to be eventful.

No idea where you are getting that from. Solely based on the match layout last night it is obvious Neville is being called up and Breeze is winning the belt. The match was only about Neville standing out. WWE 101 booking is that Breeze loses on TV, wins on "PPV". So basically, the point is still that HHH is behind recruiting and giving these guys a shot. Giving credit to Triple H for the recruitment of those guys is super silly. Rob Naylor was the one for suggested PAC and El Generico. He pitched for Devitt and Kenta. Joey Mecury and William Regal are a massive part too.
  15. The kid who was yelling "LET'S GO CENA" during the Brock/Cena match at Summerslam? It was Bill Simmons' daughter: http://grantland.com/the-triangle/b-s-report-michelle-beadle/ The conversation starts at around the 5:15 mark

It is WWE's job to make people want to see it. Or they could just put him in a compelling match in the first place. I mean, it won't be the worst thing ever, but I can't imagine it's a match that has any sort of cache, seeing as Brock has beaten Show numerous times in the past. I could very well be wrong though. Personally, I'd rather see Kane face Lesnar. Seriously, Kane. At least that's a fresh match-up. I'd imagine Show has a large downside guarantee and WWE needs to justify it on occasions (mainly the weaker half of the year)

  18. CM Punk and what the perception of him is is more interesting to me than purely his Hall of Fame candidacy. It is a referendum almost on a polarising figure. I joked yesterday that the only way CM Punk will be voted in the WON HOF is if he finds Jesus and comes back to fight Triple H in a Street Fight. I think Punk is currently analogous to pre-2003 Shawn Michaels.

Also Heyman and Big Show are great friends in real life. Show will do everything he can to get Lesnar moreover out of respect for Heyman. Obviously it is a money position on the card for Show too.
  20. Too many things to talk about in one episode. I hope there's more on the same area. Things have changed so much in only the past year or so with the Television and the Internet merging. People used to make a big song and dance about "oh I could never watch Wrestling on my Computer" or "if it isn't on National TV I ain't watching". To the point we have gone past even hooking up a laptop to your Television via HDMI cable with advent of Google Chrome and other streaming devices. Let's not even talk about the WWE Network. I have heat with Dylan for not putting over my dirtsheet crusade on Twitter. Would recommend this in it's own right because it is really well made and Gargano is a quality dude: But on the topic of this radio show I was amused by the 12 year boy in it mentioning Meltzer star ratings.
  21. Dave is a pretty decent fella
  22. We honestly don't have any idea what you're getting at here. if it's a compliment then Thanks! IT WAS A GOOD IDEA, JOHNNY
  23. This is a real brainwave by whomever thought of interviewing him for this show.

  25. Yeah Bryan said he had an A. Winehouse from London as a subscriber. A kind of a turn up for the books for me is finding out someone I have socialised in the past and had friends appear in one of the shows he produced is a HUGE fan. A non-Wrestling podcast I listen to is Jarlath Regan's An Irishman Abroad - a podcast that interviews ex-pat actors, musicians, writers, sportspeople etc. His list of guests is pretty impressive and the momentum was building. http://anirishmanabroad.podbean.com/ Anyway he is a HUGE Wrestling fan too. Worked for The Wrestling Channel and one of his credits was: Michael Keaton was going to be the Vince McMahon in it!
