Kronos
Couple of matches from OVER THE EDGE '98. Bradshaw/TAKA vs Kaientai - this was awesome. I love how the Kaientai guys just scatter anytime B gets tagged into the match. When he's not in the match, they all get to work a simplified MPro match, and it's super fun. Later they swarm Bradshaw and stun him for a moment, which leads to their showboating a little bit. Until he wakes up and stands up like the Hulk or something, flinging tiny Japanese bodies everywhere. The highlight for me is TAKA getting fastball-specialed over the top rope to the floor. Austin vs Dude Love - great main even brawl. What shocks me the most is how many nasty-looking bumps Austin takes on the concrete. Foley's crazy, so I can understand his taking those bumps. But Austin's not the healthiest body, and it seems unwise.
ChuckScumm
Just watched the Turk & Tonga John(the Barbarian) vs pre-"Mr. Electricity" Steve Regal & "Quickdraw" Rick McGraw. So weird seeing Barbarian play job boy to those two.

Fando
Arn Anderson vs Windham from NWA TV 9-12-87 is a pretty sweet match. Great selling. Arn starting off talking shit, pointing the finger, shoving. So few high spots and they keep the crowd in into. Other fun stuff like when AA takes a powder, Windham follows him out and and some girl in the crowd wipes the sweat off his back, stares at her hand and starts screaming. iamthedoctor
Ive been slowly going through NWA to catch up on the shows I missed during my WWF rewatch project and kinda wished I had watched each week side by side. WWF I got up to end of october 1990 and felt I wanted I should be viewing NWA at the same time so started from Starrcade 1986 and only now have just got up to WCW TBS Christmas 1989 as the last match had Sting vs Luger for the US belt when Gary Harts cronies got involved so Flair & The Andersons evened it up. Edwin
Steve Austin, Hawk, Animal, Goldust & Ken Shamrock vs. Bret Hart, Owen Hart, Davey Boy Smith, Brian Pillman & Jim Neidhart (WWF In Your House: Canadian Stampede - 7/6/1997) A friend of mine rewatched on this on the WWE Network yesterday and was reminding me of how great this was and man 19 years later and this match is still great. Hot Canadian crowd with a big fight feel. Everyone player their parts perfectly in this. Austin however was the standout. Everything from his entrance where he gets booed and he flips off the crowd, until he gets escorted by the security and he still doesn't care and still proceeds to flip them off. Add in blood to this match and it would've been pretty much something booked out of 1980's WWC from Puerto Rico. The tree of woe beatdown by the Harts was great and got a huge pop from the fans. Owen and Austin no selling the previous knee injuries were the only minor irks to this and Shamrock seemed lost in there at times and made for some awkward instances, but aside from that, this was great. Replacing Shamrock with virtually anyone in this match would've made it so much better. I would've personally had replaced Shamrock with Mankind even if it didn't make as much sense storyline wise although I don't exactly remember all of the storylines from back then. khawk20
Watched a bunch of 1983 AWA TV and matches this weekend as I move towards getting an AWA 1983 Year in Review set completed. Still a long way to go but it's coming together pretty nicely.

BruiserBrody
http://culturecrossfire.com/wrestling/clash-34/#.Vr3gOvIrLIU On the verge of the nWo's first PPV, the Clash of the Champions sees Lex Luger collide with Scott Hall, plus Dean Malenko grappling with the Ultimo Dragon, Kevin Sullivan brawling with Chris Benoit, some Lucha craziness and a whole bunch of squash matches. Backstage news on the Nasty Boys shooting on Scott Hall, Mongo's big contract, original plans for Crow Sting and other highlights are included as well. TheU_2001
After listening to the multi-part podcast of the top 100 matches to see before you die (on wwe network), I started watching the list and giving star ratings to the matches. iamthedoctor
I myself have just finished watching the World Championship Wrestling show the one before it was called Sat Night the week after Clash 10, they like to get alot of tag matches on these shows weekly. My big question is now im into Feb 1990 are there any big Televised matches in the coming months I should be keeping my out for before I hit the Bash? CarpetCrawler
Currently going through Superstars of Wrestling from its inception. Was curious to watch the slow build to Andre/Hogan for Wrestlemania 3, which is genuinely fantastic and is being done excellently. On the opposite end of the spectrum, the Danny Davis build is fucking terrible and is dragging on for way too long to the point where I'm finding myself skipping segments where he's the referee. They just beat that dead horse so far into the ground; I think hindsight has been much kinder to the angle than it really deserves. Also, Vince really wanted to make Kamala into another big monster star. Almost every week there's a Kamala match, which is unprecedented since I can't really think of any other guys that would do more than one squash match a row. BruiserBrody
http://culturecrossfire.com/wrestling/souledout97/ Looking back at one of the worst PPVs of all time.... Crooked refs, bad announcing, large women dancing, nWo B-team guys in half the matches, a dead crowd, Hogan vs The Giant part 25, X-Pac errrrrr Syxx in the best match, Oh the humanity! --- Watching this week in RAW/Nitro from 97. Raw crowd is dead early on and this is the night after Mania. Steve Austin turning face seems a bit odd as he hit his stride over the past 5 months or so as a no nonsense shit talking heel and had lots of hay to make off that yet. I realize I'm saying this about the biggest drawing babyface in wrestling history. Nitro was headlined by Prince Iaukea vs Macho Man. I'm sure they killed RAW anyway. anarchistxx
Just watched Jumbo vs Kerry from AJPW Classics for the first time in years. Incredible match, and makes me feel happy that KVE made my ballot. He deserves a spot based just on this and the Ric Flair Hawaii match alone, even if they were both arguably massive carry jobs. Britwresdvds
I just watched a fantastic match between Steve Wright and a masked Dave Morgan from Germany in 1983. I'm on a real Steve Wright kick at the moment. I always liked his work, but the stuff I've watched just lately of his has been mind-blowingly good. Britwresdvds
The stand-out gem from tonight's viewing was undoubtedly Steve Grey vs. Zoltan Boscik (Woking, 8/5/1976). A fantastic match and one which would be a great exhibition of the British style for someone unfamiliar with it. Very good hold and counter technical wrestling. Boscik teased breaking out the heel work at a couple of points, but it remained a technical, sportsmanlike match until the finish. Props also to a nice little match between Dave Taylor and Tony St Clair (Bremen, Germany, 19/12/1987) I watched after Grey and Boscik.
