I think it's technically Fighting Spirit Three Musketeers, but I don't think anybody wants to go around calling them that.

Maybe not, but that sounds like a hell of a candy bar.

You'd probably just throw up a lot since it wouldn't want to stay down.

I got the IPPV, the building was packed and the crowd was hot. The show itself was good (if you like Chikara and what they do), although the ending of the main event fell a bit flat, but supposedly one of the wrestlers got a concussion.

Russo said on Twitter he hates when wrestling companies take commercial breaks during their matches. I guess we know why he never let TV matches go more than 45 seconds.

Watching ECW Barely Legal, and seeing Francine got me to thinking, did people actually think she was hot back in the day? I remember nearly salivating over Beulah as a teen, but I can't recall how I felt about Francine. The ECW crowd though, and it seems a lot of wrestling fans online, treat Francine like she's some super hot chick. Maybe it's just my personal taste, but seeing Francine in the intro for this PPV is like seeing the woman who's destroyed her body through Meth that you feel really sorry for (and I'm saying that legitimately, not in any sort of mocking way.)

When I was a teenager too young to buy porno mags for myself, in those pre-Internet days of the mid-90's, I would treasure Playboys. The women in Playboy were immaculate dream girls, unattainable fantasies. Sometimes, a Penthouse would be in the pile. The women of Penthouse were more attainable, more realistic. If a Playboy model was a 1 in a 1000 beauty, a Penthouse girl was like your buddy's college age sister or a friend of your mom's. These were women that weren't ugly by any stretch of the imagination but they were certainly not beautiful. Pretty sometimes, average usually, but attainable. There were times I just wanted a fantasy I could believe. I think this part of the modern obsession with amateur pornography.

Miss Elizabeth was Playboy.

Francine was Penthouse.

I wonder this as well. I never thought so, even with far less women in wrestling to compete with at that point in that regard. When she was brought onto WWECW in '06, it was almost like she was "accidentally" hired, since she wasn't used for awhile (maybe some house shows), then brought in for a few TVs, then released shortly thereafter. I'm stunned during the Diva Search era that she was part of a roster.

With the influx of sorts in the mid 90s of females in wrestling, most of them were wifes/girlfriends of wrestlers. Don't think Francine fits in that category, but none of the promotions were doing casting calls at that point, and probably hired females who were "convenient" for them. Beggars can't be choosers.

I was just watching '96 WCW on the network, and I was struck by how beautiful Elizabeth was compared to pretty much every other woman in 90s wrestling. Even when she was doing the jezabel act she looked classier than the rest. For what it's worth, Francine looks much better in recent pictures, probably due to a healthier lifestyle out of wrestling.

Haha i agree, 16 years later i still have the appreciation for a solid slut. The word slut isnt used enough these days. I might go home and call my wife a slut and rekindle the flame

Both describing Francine as 'anal hot' and Miss Elizabeth as 'Redbook' are more apt than my clumsy analogy. But yeah, Francine was porn star attractive, Beulah was girl next door attractive. Neither was my type, though. Molly Holly forever has my heart. ESPECIALLY shaved head Molly Holly.

I'm nearly 44 and I like sluts. They're the best people.

I know this is just your usual wrestling fan tesosterone fueled banter, and no harm is meant, and this is a predominantly male board...but the levels of misogyny are pretty surprising and could be construed as offensive. Probably stood out because I came here from Tumblr, where these kind of sentences would be flagged down and ripped apart and condemned and used mercilessly by the huge feminist contingent on that site to prove that treating women as objects and branding them 'sluts' is alive and well.

This board is better than that.
