I don't think they should have taken the belt off her but last night was a step in the right direction for Paige. She's a natural heel. She pretty much worked heel on NXT and now she can ramp up the viciousness and use her decent bumping. The problem with this though is that AJ is a god awful face.

Paige was fine in NXT and the matches with Emma were good by any standard. They need to put her back in black, goth her up and let her bring out her inner Sweet Saraya.

Raw was a well booked show for the direction they're going in. I just have little interest in the direction they're going in.

Based on the report it's an instance of WalMart being jerks. She forgot about a $20 iPod cover in her pocket while going through self-checkout. I've done that countless times, with things like pop, gum, apples, etc. It's one of the main reasons I always use a cart nowadays and avoid self-checkout. It's just too easy to forget stuff when you put it in your pockets because you didn't bother to grab a cart.

Err...pretty sure you can't put stuff in your pockets even if you're going through the self checkout. Arrest is a bit much though.

You can, people do it all the time. The key is remembering to take the stuff out of your pockets once you get to the register. I used to be a retail manager and it's very common for people to put something in a hoodie pocket and then forget that they put it in there. Now, if someone has a high price item or a ton of stuff in their pocket, that's a different story. In this case it's a cheap item, that like 99% of the people I dealt with she probably intended to pay for but just forgot. The manager in this case was taking following company policy too far, unless she tried to deny she had it in her pocket or proclaiming it wasn't hers, etc.

It seems like the follow up of her having to do community service seems a bit much. Can't they just let her pay for the item (and maybe a fine to cover the cost of the cops being called) and call it a day? Seems like a waste of taxpayer resources to drag someone to court over.

Unrelated to that stuff, I have no idea what they are doing with Cesaro. Even if Swagger is eventually going to lose to Rusev, he is WAY more over than Cesaro right now. Cesaro has been on a complete nosedive since WrestleMania which is weird because they did all the right things right up until he joined with Heyman. I guess the idea is a long term payoff of Lesnar/Cesaro but I'm really not too confident that's what they have in mind. They seem to just think that throwing Heyman with someone will help get them over even though it did nothing for Cutis Axel and derailed Ryback's amusing backstage bully vignettes.

According to the spoilers

he gets pinned by Ziggler in a tag match on Main Event and loses by count-out to Big E on Smackdown. What the fuck.

I mean, I like Ziggler and all, but he's dead and buried. He of all people should not be beating people they're supposedly grooming for a top spot.

I'm talking credibility wise. You can/should build him back up, but right now you shouldn't have

him pinning Cesaro who's coming off main eventing a PPV.

EDIT: On the subject of being booked dead and buried and probably more appropriately, anyone know why Damien Sandow is getting treated so poorly these days? Ever since he lost that match to Cena late last year, he's fallen off a cliff.

What fucked Cesaro more than anything is that once they put him with Heyman, it's like they thought "that's it, job's done", and just had him swimming around the middle with no direction or discernable goal. People were into the guy who could do freakish things and they could see was about to turn, then they put him in a heel/heel scenario with Swagger, and had him treading water with Sheamus, doing what he always did before anyway. Losing to guys firmly fixed in the midcard purgatory will NOT help.

They have no idea how to use Heyman to get someone else over. I don't think it's because he can't do it, they just aren't trying. He just gets paired with whoever they want to push at the moment and then they think that was the push and now they're done.

They just have terrible writers. Back in the old days you could make tons of money on a guy you knew was only going to wrestle like 3 or 4 matches and do 12 TVs. They just don't know how to use someone who isn't there every week. Or people who ARE there every week.

I wish someone would ask Heyman about Axel on one of these podcasts.

I'm pretty sure they did on the recent Talk is Jericho ep with him. He said something along the lines of it not being a good fit, and that there was never a real reason for him to be with Axel.
