Strummer
I have no idea what the hell that was. Hunter just cut a total babyface promo getting laughs from the crowd. They seem to be teasing a swerve that will screw over the Bryan/Ambrose/ Ziggler group even more. Sounds like they are pissed at the fans. I guess this is where this is headed? Jmare007
I was amazed at that segment, they pretty much acknowledge this is scripted. Roman was completely right when he said there's no damn controversy, he won fair and square.
Strummer
I'd imagine it's going to be a swerve and Hunter was just heeling. Just the company pissed at the fans. The "controversy" won't be Bryan being eliminated. I mean I don't see them breaking kayfabe that gratuitously That said that was the strangest wwe TV segment in some time
Jmare007
They are breaking kayfabe gratuitosly on commentary and Vince is in their ears. I'm honestly amazed by this.
hammerva
Did I really just see Seth Rollins take out 3 of the top babyfaces in the company about 80% by himself. I mean yeah J&J helped but not by much and besides they are a comedy act to begin with
Strummer
I'm sure the big announcement on Monday will be more trolling involving the Axel bit from the Rumble And hopefully Bryan v Kane is finally over
Loss
I don't really get the mixed messages behind putting their next big star in an opening match where he press slams Big Show and it's not even put over very much while putting the guy we are supposed to stop liking in a 22-minute main event where he decisively beats the guy people are tired of him facing to put that feud behind him. Strummer
So I guess a lot of people think they are teasing putting Bryan in the title match on Raw. Lolztrolling. It's one big troll
Loss
I don't think they are putting Bryan in the title match, and it's funny that people think that might happen. But shouldn't Show-Reigns have been the main event match on this show considering their direction?
tigerpride
No, since D-Bry-Kane is a gimmick match blowing off an almost year long feud
goodhelmet
Loss is right. Reigns is the one being positioned as the #1 guy. He should be doing the main events. Bryan-Kane could take the middle hour spot.

But shouldn't Show-Reigns have been the main event match on this show considering their direction? Normally Charles i'd agree with that logic. I think they used this show as a test run to see if Reigns is going to get booed. He did. The last memory of the show that they don't want is Reigns being booed. kjh
So I guess a lot of people think they are teasing putting Bryan in the title match on Raw. Lolztrolling. It's one big troll I could see them booking Bryan vs. Reigns for the number one contendership at Fast Lane to tie up the loose end of Bryan never being given a World title shot after being stripped of the title by the Authority with Bryan coming up short yet again. Why not milk the trolling for a few more weeks?
Strummer
I don't think they will make any changes but I think Vince tries to convince himself that the crowds don't matter and it's all about the data but when it's put into practice he still cares about reactions. I think he cares less than he once did but he still cares. Still a carny obvs.
pol
I can see them resigning themselves to the notion that anyone pushed as a top babyface is inevitably going to get a mixed reaction. Which is nonsense of course but hey.

Why not milk the trolling for a few more weeks? I would imagine it's something like this. IF you accept that Bryan isn't getting the push (which I don't but whatever), then this would make sense in a lot of ways. Bryan would probably make Reigns look better than anyone else on the roster could. Reigns also desperately needs another PPV singles match before WM if they are really going through with this. The dude has ONE ppv singles match. It's fucking absurd.

IF you watched the Rumble, Bryan was not shown to be a main eventer. He was shown to be the equivalent of Tyson Kidd.
MikeCampbell
Is is futile at this point to hold out hope that the incessant boos, and general negative reaction to the Reigns push, cause cooler heads to prevail and give Bryan another shot? I don't think the major announcement is Bryan getting in the match. But, I could see them doing something at the PPV.
artDDP
I really think they're just going to troll the fans with Reigns vs. Curtis Axel. "We here at the WWE don't like being told what to do."
pol
What a weird first half hour or so that was. Triple H cuts a total babyface promo, they go further into obnoxious worked shoot territory than I can ever remember them doing post-Russo, Reigns and Big Show have a match with a bunch of over-the-top-rope spots (surely you do this BEFORE the Rumble?) while Cole practically begs everyone to puh-leeeeeeze like Roman Reigns on commentary. Are they panicking or just fucking with us?
