And we're pretty much stuck with those bars, because you can't upgrade VHS like you can film. Unless they decide to crop them, in which case it would all look pretty terrible (they do a bit of this already on their shows like Countdown).

Yeah I finally sucumbed to the Network and ordered just so I can watch the Rumble. I enjoyed it anyway shame the internet kids didnt but hey they expect too much.

Regarding cropping they did this for years on their official DVDs before they finally changed it. Never had a issue with the stretched pic on the dvds before this.

You are the only person - in the world - that hasn't any complaints about the Rumble.

Anyone watch the WWE 24 behind-the-scenes special about WM XXX?

While it did take us backstage during the event, it didn't really reveal nearly as much as I thought it would. I guess I expected too much. It felt like mostly fluff.

The Connor Michalek stuff still gets to me. So sad. :(

You = an internet kid. If you must slander people for having a different opinion from you, then at least use better slander.

And I do not think expecting any of the over faces to look strong is "expecting too much", but I won't begin to debate with you on it, because your post is so ridiculous it does not merit debate.

When did WWE ever crop anything on their DVDs? I've got absolutely no recollection of this ever happening outside of clips inserted into widescreen documentaries. Original content has always been presented in 4:3, sometimes with bars added at the side if there's a mix of footage.

I enjoyed it for what it was. No point in being upset over who got eliminated or who won. I may be disapointed over the odd thing that happened but no point in being angry at what happened as their are other things in the world to worry about.

If I remember right I watched a DVD last month I forget the name but I recall it having MSG stuff in the content and it was full screen on my widescreen tv however when I watched another DVD it had the black bars on the picture.

In the fervor about subscribers, they've completed 99 for Smackdown, added a big dump of TNT and a couple more 96 Raws. If they could consistently provide updates like this more often and begin adding some more mid-80s stuff, I'd be happy with the current binge-watching potential.

Nothing personal against you, doc, but I honestly despise bullshit sentiments like this whenever I see them on message boards. The whole, "oh, I'm above all of this, and why are you getting worked up when there are more important things to worry about?" attitude just smacks of false piety to me. Of course, world affairs, personal problems, etc. are "more important" - but we're on a wrestling forum, so it's perfectly fine to get angry about wrestling here.

Yaay! Glad they finally finished 99 Smackdown actually. Was planning on going back and watching in as I couldn't get it where I live since the station that carried it wasn't available in my area.

Loving the 96 Raw stuff, probably my favorite year.

Back in the day I used to get so wound up on things like Earthquake taking out the wrestlers I liked or Triple H burying someones career or at least trying to in a match but I guess the novelty just wore off once I left my 20s.

I still get a chuckle out of Triple H exorcising his insecurities every week on TV.

What has happened to the backstage pass stuff?

On the UK version Raw hasent had one since the Sheamus/Rusev title change and Smackdown is May 2nd.

Seems quite odd whiy its nearly a year gap for Smackdown as I presumed they were still doing this unless the UK version is different to the US version.

Always loved these as they are in a way like sat feeds. Anyone know whats going on?
