JerryvonKramer
This has some potential to be an interesting thread. Pick any two guys who were around at the same time who you don't recall having a match and ask "did they ever face each other?" You can answer the question yourself if you like, this mainly out of interest.I started thinking about this with the talk of the recent roundtable on Warrior (which I've still not seen): did Ted DiBiase and Sgt. Slaughter ever have a match? When and where?Well, sure enough, first hit on Google:http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xy3sbi_sgt-slaughter-vs-ted-dibiase-st-louis-1977_sportA match from 1977 in St. Louis. Looks clipped to hell and no audio, but firey babyface Ted goes over after turning over a small package in a back-and-forth affair.Did they ever wrestle again? According to Wrestlingdata.com, they did, on at least 19 other occasions:1 Show @ St. Joseph1. April 1977 @ Auditorium in St. Joseph, Missouri (United States of America)Ted DiBiase defeated Bob Slaughter [2 out of 3 Falls Match]2 Show @ St. Joseph15. Juni 1978 @ St. Louis, Missouri (United States of America)Ted DiBiase defeated Bob Slaughter - this is probably the match on Dailymotion Interestingly, Ted and Slaughter would not cross paths again for the entirety of the 1980s. They next met in 1991, after Slaughter's face turn in a string of house shows in December of that year. Looking these up elsewhere, they all look like DQ losses for Ted. 7 WWF @ Anaheim6. I might pull it up and give it a look. The only other encounters are lazily-booked 40-man battle royals, one of which is on that same episode of Prime Time. Sidebottom
I have this weird thing in needing to see a photo or piece of video of both Andre and Undertaker in the same frame. They appeared in a battle royal segment together, but Undertaker had left the ring before Andre arrived on the scene. Such a shame. I wonder if a photo will ever surface one day? Zero
Did Ric Flair & Mil Mascaras ever do anything together?
flyonthewall2983
I seem to remember Ric saying no in his shoot, but that they worked the same cards in Japan.

(BP)
Punk and Flair tagged together once on Raw and they got physical at the Slammys a couple of years ago when Ric returned from TNA, but no proper singles match.

Sidebottom
1992 babyface Bret Hart and 1992 sicko Jake Roberts would have been a delight. The two never went at it at any point.
flyonthewall2983
Didn't Jake work for awhile for Stu?
PeteF3
Bret has said that he was scheduled to work with Jake coming out of WrestleMania VIII (which I'm not sure works--Jake quit the morning of the show and I think they were already pushing HBK as a title challenger), and that he had never worked with Jake. flyonthewall2983
It may have been planned as I think Jake's leaving was rather sudden.
Fantastic
I don't think The Rock and Shawn Michaels have ever faced each other...?
jm29195
Punk and Flair tagged in one of Flair's last WWE matches on ECW in February 2008, against Shelton Benjamin and Elijah Burke. How about Vader and Savage? I am sure they never had a singles match... I think Sabu vs Angle and Angle vs Flair only happened the once in Summer of 2006- would have loved to have seen Angle vs Finlay or Angle vs Sandman from around the same time (or indeed Finlay vs Sandman) but don't think they happened outside of possible interactions in the pre ECW 2006 battle royal on the TV special.... flyonthewall2983
Vader and Savage were in a tag match against each other along with Hogan and Flair for Slamboree '95.

Loss
Not in that gimmick, but he faced Curt Hennig in WCW.
thebrainfollower
Rude and Bret had interactions during the Hennig feud in WCW but no matches to the best of my opinion. Rock and Shawn is definitely by choice. Rock's avoided many interactions with HHH and Shawn on his returns by choice.
flyonthewall2983
Yeah but Rock/Shawn must have happened at least once in 97, especially when the NOD feuded with DX.
Loss
The NOD didn't feud with DX until '98. They did a feud with the Hart Foundation with DX antagonizing the NOD on the sidelines, which made both groups look really stupid.
The Chief
Shawn Michaels and Eddie Guerrero? Rey Mysterio and Randy Savage?
(BP)
HBK/Eddie was a tentative match for Mania 22 before Eddie's death.
El-P
Rey Mysterio and Randy Savage worked a pretty cool promo segment on Thunder in 1999, which was followed up by…. nothing of course.
Lee Casebolt
Any combination of Terry Funk, Roddy Piper, and Randy Savage? (I realize this one will be of interest only to me) Steve Williams vs Gary Albright?
Loss
Funk and Piper have faced each other in recent years. The match got some praise. Piper and Savage faced each other a few times.
