Dylan Waco Posted July 28, 2014 Report Posted July 28, 2014 Heard this rumor late this evening from a local promoter who books TNA talent. Talked to some other people tonight confirming it. TMZ just reported it. Russo was a big blow. Expect some bullshit excuses ASAP.
Death From Above Posted July 28, 2014 Report Posted July 28, 2014 I never tire of posting this when sporting teams I don't like fail, so I might as well apply it here. http://youtu.be/Jonf4JMK81k

sek69 Posted July 28, 2014 Report Posted July 28, 2014 That has to be a record of some sorts, has one person ever killed two different major promotions? For all the "LOLTNA" stuff, they were a nationally televised promotion.
goodhelmet Posted July 28, 2014 Report Posted July 28, 2014 The fact that Vince Russo helped facilitate this is the most TNA thing ever.
Matt D Posted July 28, 2014 Report Posted July 28, 2014 That he did it by accident is the best part. It's like someone pulled the mask off a Scooby Doo ghost or something.
goodhelmet Posted July 28, 2014 Report Posted July 28, 2014 If this is absolutely it then TNA will win the Worst Promotion of All Time. They already had the lead but this would lock it up.
Johnny Sorrow Posted July 28, 2014 Report Posted July 28, 2014 "I sweah, I'd have gotten away wid it, if it weren't fah doze medlin kids. I sweah ."
The Chief Posted July 28, 2014 Report Posted July 28, 2014 I can't wait to watch the tearjerker Dixie Carter promo on the final Impact. Thanking all the fans for supporting such a quality product.
jpchicago23 Posted July 28, 2014 Report Posted July 28, 2014 Ahh Cornette's next podcast should be a good one
slackermillionaire Posted July 28, 2014 Report Posted July 28, 2014 Heard this rumor late this evening from a local promoter who books TNA talent. Talked to some other people tonight confirming it. TMZ just reported it. Russo was a big blow. Expect some bullshit excuses ASAP. There were reports that Carter positioned to her staff at a meeting on Friday that they were leaving Spike on their own volition due to a lack of promotion, but others have confirmed Spike had told Carter they were not going to offer a new deal. slackermillionaire Posted July 28, 2014 Report Posted July 28, 2014 If this is the end of Spike and with Jarrett's Global Force not seeming to have anything besides a database and a youtube video, I wonder how this influx of talent is going to affect the indies.
dgrblue Posted July 28, 2014 Report Posted July 28, 2014 Is this news actually a big shock? Are they actually profitable, aside from spike tv contract? What a waste.
Matt D Posted July 28, 2014 Report Posted July 28, 2014 If this is the end of Spike and with Jarrett's Global Force not seeming to have anything besides a database and a youtube video, I wonder how this influx of talent is going to affect the indies. Rockstar Spud, ultimate ROH heel champion?

Dixe Carter, ultimate ROH heel champion? fixed
slackermillionaire Posted July 28, 2014 Report Posted July 28, 2014 I wonder if the WWE has an interest in the tape library, I believe Spike owns all of the Impact footage. But really is there any footage they have that is really that worthwhile for the WWE? I don't think there is a lot of value adding old weekly TNA ppvs to the network.
Jesse Ewiak Posted July 28, 2014 Report Posted July 28, 2014 So, is Dixie the dumbest human alive for continuing to fall for Russo's bullshit, is Russo actually a svengali of Rasputin-like proportions that we've always underrated, or have they just been banging this whole time?
rovert Posted July 28, 2014 Report Posted July 28, 2014 Must say CM Punk picked the right time to leave between the Network and next to zero leverage for talent given TNA's situation.
David Posted July 28, 2014 Report Posted July 28, 2014 Did Dave and Bryan give any new info on the show they just did?

The Chief Posted July 28, 2014 Report Posted July 28, 2014 TNA fans are an endless source of comedy: http://www.tnamecca.com/2014/07/official-tna-tv-deal-discussion.html
sek69 Posted July 28, 2014 Report Posted July 28, 2014 Did Dave and Bryan give any new info on the show they just did? The Russo fiasco wasn't the main reason but it was definitely a factor. Felt that having Bellator go from weekly to monthly shows probably caused a change in thinking TNA was necessary to help promote them every week. Also that there's probably only a handful of people who would have a chance to get spots in ROH or in Japan.
