dgrblue Posted January 27, 2016 Report Posted January 27, 2016 Ric had Jericho on recently, and he said that he cannot get on Jericho's cast, as he is doing so well. Ric pressed to get Jerricho to bring him on, Jericho agreed, then in basically the same breath he said, let's not rush things... i saw what you did there Jericho Quote
thebrainfollower Posted January 28, 2016 Report Posted January 28, 2016 I tried syncing the two up. Not easy at all Quote
BigBadMick Posted January 28, 2016 Report Posted January 28, 2016 Any sign of this becoming a regular feature? Does anyone think flair's commentary would add anything to his matches? Just asking, really not sure either way. Quote
The Man in Blak Posted January 28, 2016 Report Posted January 28, 2016 One big difference between the "commentary track" approach that Austin used for his WM13 podcast and Flair's (or Conrad's) approach for RR92 is that Austin got all of his advertising copy out of the way first before starting the match, making it easier to just synch up and watch/listen all in one go. With the RR92 commentary, the ads keep popping up in the middle of the discussion, which makes things feel a little disjointed. Quote
Fando Posted January 28, 2016 Report Posted January 28, 2016 Probably would also trust Austin, who wasn't even in the company, to know Repo-man was after Demolition, not before. Quote
GSR Posted January 29, 2016 Report Posted January 29, 2016 I tried syncing the two up. Not easy at all Doesn't help when they just cut to the advertisements at random times too during the podcast. Quote
JerryvonKramer Posted February 3, 2016 Author Report Posted February 3, 2016 Has Connor been given a missive to be a lot more quiet on these shows? He doesn't talk nearly as much as he used to. Quote
Luchaundead Posted February 3, 2016 Report Posted February 3, 2016 Has Connor been given a missive to be a lot more quiet on these shows? He doesn't talk nearly as much as he used to. Tax season, he's probably busy working on other stuff during the recordings, you don't become the 2nd wealthiest man in Alabama without multitasking. Quote
SteveJRogers Posted February 3, 2016 Report Posted February 3, 2016 I tried syncing the two up. Not easy at all Doesn't help when they just cut to the advertisements at random times too during the podcast. Probably more of a network thing than what the host & producer wants the format to be. Quote
JerryvonKramer Posted August 22, 2016 Author Report Posted August 22, 2016 Why didn't anyone mention that Flair's show is back with MLW and has been since July 1st? The last show was a 90-minute talk with Greg Valentine! And he talked to Ken Patera for almost 2 hours. Quote

Because it's on MLW & it seems like only people outside of the PWO type bubble actually get their premium content. Quote
jpchicago23 Posted August 23, 2016 Report Posted August 23, 2016 I thought this was common knowledge. The show is pretty good still there's just a few more plugs and ads Quote

The rest of the show is ads and Flair opining on various topics. Quote
peachchaos Posted August 23, 2016 Report Posted August 23, 2016 Some great stories on the Valentine interview. I don't see this going on too much longer tbh. Quote
JerryvonKramer Posted September 2, 2016 Author Report Posted September 2, 2016 Haku is ridiculously hard. Quote
JerryvonKramer Posted September 19, 2016 Author Report Posted September 19, 2016 This week's "Ask Naitch" had me laughing a good bit during the answer to "What town had the wildest ring rats". Especially when he said "Tokyo ... if you like Asian women, man, they are everywhere" From around then onwards, it's a pretty funny one. Quote
flyonthewall2983 Posted September 20, 2016 Report Posted September 20, 2016 What happened to the old shows? Quote
WingedEagle Posted September 20, 2016 Report Posted September 20, 2016 Presumably removed when it switched to MLW. Quote
JerryvonKramer Posted September 22, 2016 Author Report Posted September 22, 2016 Conrad booking Bruce Mitchell for Flair this week looks like stoking the flames quite a bit. Quote
BrianB Posted September 22, 2016 Report Posted September 22, 2016 What happened to the old shows? They're still there under the old podcast name, I think. CBS had that show. Quote
JerryvonKramer Posted October 14, 2016 Author Report Posted October 14, 2016 Worth listening to the Hayes one from today. Flair talking about Rude sometimes being impaired in the ring was something I didn't know. Although Ric's cough becomes borderline intolerable by the end. Quote
jpchicago23 Posted October 15, 2016 Report Posted October 15, 2016 I love hearing Hayes on these shows because he never takes himself too seriously. He took the high road with Bret and just the other day Bret apologized. Glad it didn't blow up Quote
