joeg Posted February 8, 2016 Report Posted February 8, 2016 I watched a bunch of the matches on the the Chicago Film Archives back when it got posted on youtube. Rogers was the guy that stood out, head and shoulders above everybody else. He has a natural charisma that the other guys of that era just don't have as well as an ear for the crowd. Have only seen a little bit of Schmidt... will watch tomorrow. Hey are you the Rah that was on the puroresu.tv board? Quote
elliott Posted February 10, 2016 Report Posted February 10, 2016 Kazuo Yamazaki might crack my top 50. I have a weird tendency to forget about him though. Quote
TheU_2001 Posted February 21, 2016 Report Posted February 21, 2016 Probably Hogan, maybe Vader. Quote
joeg Posted February 23, 2016 Report Posted February 23, 2016 I don't know, I have Hogan in my top 20, so I might have you beat. Quote
El Dragon Posted March 31, 2016 Report Posted March 31, 2016 I got Bryan higher then 4, I will say. Â Tajiri, Austin, Eaton, Cesaro, Christian, and a bunch of mid 2000's US Indy guys I'm a legitimate shot of being high vote for. Quote
Scarlet-Left Posted March 31, 2016 Report Posted March 31, 2016 Terry Taylor (in my top twenty) and Lex Luger (in my top ten). Quote
Jimmy Redman Posted March 31, 2016 Report Posted March 31, 2016 I think with that you officially take the title of Wackiest Ballot. Quote
NotJayTabb Posted March 31, 2016 Report Posted March 31, 2016 I'm probably the only Sabre Jr. voter, and I'm likely to rate both Fritz and Kevin Von Erich higher than most. Six months on from this, I'm confident I'm still the high vote on Kevin and Fritz, as well as Bret, Jarrett, Davey Boy and possibly Sheamus. Â I'm likely the only voter on ZSJ, Zenk, Shelley, Barbarian and James Mason. Quote
Goodear Posted March 31, 2016 Report Posted March 31, 2016 I have Big Bossman at 49 which is probably pretty high for most folks and Kana at 61 who I haven't heard a lot of buzz about. Quote
Woof Posted March 31, 2016 Report Posted March 31, 2016 Based on his nominee thread I'd be willing to bet I wind up high man on Samoa Joe (he climbed into my top 20 at the last minute) and I can't imagine anybody going higher on Roddy Strong (top 25). That said from what I've seen of lists that are already posted I have absoluely ZERO confidence on truly predicting a given ballot. People's opions are so completely all over the map. It's glorious, really. Quote
Dylan Waco Posted March 31, 2016 Report Posted March 31, 2016 The only people who I can think of where I might be the high voter are Carlos Colon and Invader I and with Boricua submitting a ballot I wouldn't bet on either one of those to be honest. Â MAYBE Hoshino, Smothers, or Eric Embry, but I really doubt it. Quote
Childs Posted March 31, 2016 Report Posted March 31, 2016 I think I might be high voter on Naoki Sano and maybe Steve Grey, depending on where Tim Cooke put him. Quote
goc Posted March 31, 2016 Report Posted March 31, 2016 Pretty sure I'm the high vote on Matt Hardy. Quote
Childs Posted March 31, 2016 Report Posted March 31, 2016 I'm pretty high on Grey. Â And without the entire country of Japan getting in the way, he had plenty of room to soar. Quote
Matt D Posted March 31, 2016 Report Posted March 31, 2016 It is a pretty small country when you think about it. Quote
Dylan Waco Posted March 31, 2016 Report Posted March 31, 2016 I have Grey pretty high, but I won't be the high voter Quote
Jingus Posted March 31, 2016 Report Posted March 31, 2016 I'm probably the high vote on Andre and Backlund, and maybe on Steamboat and Foley. Quote
Childs Posted March 31, 2016 Report Posted March 31, 2016 On my ballot, it's the former Soviet Union. Quote
Luchaundead Posted March 31, 2016 Report Posted March 31, 2016 I think I might be high vote on Chris Hero but seeing as I see him so high I wouldn't be suprised if someone had him higher. I'd be willing to bet that even at 100 I'm probably high vote for Will Osprey Quote
Dylan Waco Posted March 31, 2016 Report Posted March 31, 2016 I know someone who has Foley really, really high. Â I was discussing Hero today with my brothers, and I could honestly see him as high as 30. I have him nowhere near that level, but I think I could construct a sane argument I would buy for him in the top third. Quote
Luchaundead Posted March 31, 2016 Report Posted March 31, 2016 I got Hero low 20s so not much higher like I said I wouldn't be shocked if someone has him higher but I think it's possible I'm the highest. Thinking about it now is this kind of a shoot off of guilty pleasure or personal favorite thing meaning that if you think you're the high vote on someone it kinda says you don't think anyone else things of that wrestler as good as you do?
