C.S.
Zeb Coulter (Dutch Mantell) managing Alberto Del Rio was another head-scratcher. Ditto for Ricardo Rodriguez and Rob Van Dam.
flyonthewall2983
Lanny Poffo and Mr. Perfect. Heenan should have been with him right from the beginning.
SirEdger
Still trying to figure out how anyone in Stamford thought that Paul Orndorff & Sir Oliver Humperdink was a great fit by any stretch of the imagination.
War is Raw
BTW, as this is an old thread, just wanted to mention besides the previously mentioned Cesaro example, Paul Heyman with Curtis Axel and Ryback also bombed. They tried to recreate the "I'm a Paul Heyman Guy" gimmick that Paul had with Punk (who really didn't need him anyway).
Herodes
With all due respect to Don Vincenzo Cotroni, Dino Bravo and Frenchy Martin are not OK
SirEdger
At least, it didn't last that long. They moved Dino to Jimmy Hart and it was a much better fit.
joeg
Harlem Heat as a pair of prisoners won in a card game by Col. Rob Parker was probably the worst thing I saw on television as a child. So that has to be included on this list.

Yeah, I watched religiously every week. This never aired. In fact, I still haven't seen it...
PeteF3
I think it actually did air, on the same episode of TV where the Giant did a moonsault.

Well, where is joeg from? It's not online anymore, but there used to be a match on YouTube from Germany TV where Harlem Heat—I think using that name but I'm not sure—won a squash wearing prison uniform tops with wrestling tights. It never aired in the U.S. In light of that, it's not exactly a stretch that matches featuring Colonel Parker's Posse aired overseas. Dale Wolfe
The show for DSF in Germany was an edit of a few different shows, right? You used to be able to get DSF action on moody satellite in the UK but it was so long ago I might be confusing myself
GSR
DSF showed exclusive Alex Wright matches that didn't air on the US equvalent show and I think they showed Frank Andersson ones too, so very conceivable that Harlem Heat match aired also. I didn't discover DSF until 1994 so that would've been after the Posse in prison garb so can't verify on that one.
