shoe
This is according to Mike Mooneyham. Just color me shocked. Thought he had a job for life.
goc
And yet Dolph Ziggler is still employed. There is no justice.
NotJayTabb
Looks like Adam Rose isn't far off joining him. Has been charged with domestic battery and tampering with a witness - all this whilst on 60 day suspension. Doesn't look too promising for him. ...TG
I had no idea he was still employed. Not only that, he's only 55. I assumed he'd been around as a jobber in one form or another since the beginning of time.

El-P
Talk about someone who knows where the bodies are buried. Â No shit. He's getting a shoot interview contract yesterday.
Matt D
I just watched this the other day too: Â
El-P
Never saw Perry Saturn without a stache. Feels oh so wrong. He kinda looks like a giant cock too. Which. Well. I probably shouldn't have said that though.
The Chief
Lombardi definitely knows where the bodies are buried but I see him as a guy who's still going to tout the company line until the day he dies. Kind of a Jim Ross type. I've got a feeling a shoot with him would be disappointing but I would love to be proved wrong.

Strummer
He'd been with the company since 1983! Â My favorite moment of his career is him attacking Gorilla Monsoon on an episode of Primetime in early 1989. I don't think I've ever laughed that hard watching wrestling
Luchaundead
Has it been made clear if this is just terminating his "talent contract" that maybe had been left over of years but still keeping him employed behind the scenes? I ask because you don't "release" employees and it would seem that most of his work for the past few decades was not as talent.
MikeCampbell
I always remember Gorilla Monsoon commenting that Skinner would make a good tag team partner for the Brawler.
WingedEagle
If Lombardi (or anyone) has the kind of dirt they'd rather not see come to light you'd think it would be very easy to reach an agreement that bars him from speaking about his time with the company, but it doesn't seem as though that's something they've found necessary over the years. fakeplastictrees
How does WWE come to release guys like Tiny, Lombardi, etc. when people like The Ascension are RIGHT THERE. WWE has been doing a pretty good job as it related to spring cleaning, but fuck! I remember when they got rid of Sgt. Are these guys really that much dead weight or is this Stephanie/HHH slowly phases out the old guard to establish a new generation of 'guys with a job for life?
