They were in an impossibly weird position, but I thought that was all very good. The initial moment of Cena grabbing the mic was the first thing on the show that got any genuine reaction out of me.

 

And yes, while we have at least an hour to go and probably more like two, this show has already vastly exceeded last year's blimp explosion atop a pile of trainwrecks.

I think it's got to do with what Will said. There's been a bunch of satisfying finishes and moments. For a while now, every time they gave us something to cheer for they squashed it immediately and made the most boring/deflating/frustrating choice. Tonight that's been kept to an absolute minimum...at leas up until now.
