Boss Rock
Up until Sunday I had it: 1. Reigns 2. Braun 3. A.J. But A.J.'s recent string of great matches against Finn, Jinder, and Brock as well as holding the Hell in a Cell triple-threat together put him back at number 1. Cap
Finally finished the show. Man, the main did nothing for me, but the rest of the show was really good. Styles v Brock is the best WWE match of the year. Before this match I thought Walter was a lock for my wrestler of the year, but this was such a shining performance for Styles. It isn't even that Brock didn't have his working boots on; it is just that Styles was so exceptional to make sure everything hung together. Everything from the weekend (sans the main imo) was really well laid out. It was just on point in terms of making the matches distinct and making them matter. That goes for both NXT and SS The main just felt like them booking an entire match around giving HHH lots of options between now and Mania. Its like they don't quite know what they are going to do with him yet, but they want to make it priority and they want to be flexible. I don't even really care about who went over and who got eliminated when. It just felt so nonsensical to me. It was such a stark contrast to the rest of the weekend, particularly SS that made the most of the limited context they had for the matches. Sort of a side note for me I think, but Bliss has been such a breakout star for me over the past year or so. Something about her in this match against Charlotte really highlighted just how far she has come and how she isn't just hanging in there. She is excelling. Gutenberger
The friend I watched this with and I had a feeling of something being off during the main. Trips really seemed out f it for some time in the beginning, and around the same time some transitions were really weird, like the one to putting BRAUN through the table. We kind of wondered if something ad happened there that wasn't supposed to happen. Anyone else had the impression?

She's become my favorite performer in the company over the past 12 months, from the Becky feud to now with this being one of her best overall performances. It seemed that Hunter got hurt on the backbreaker deal he did on Nakamura, and for a while guys were just kind of improvising while he surveyed the damage. He also kind of disappeared for a while after, I assumed the doctors were checking him out on the floor or something.

He kind of awkwardly moved from the corner to the steps htrough the ring while performing a move. It all just looked really odd. Threw me out of the match completely and I wasn't able to get back in afterwards. One thing I love though after the main was the building of tension. Braun just doing nothing while Hunter tried to celebrate with him and you could sense the "Oh shit, Braun doesn't like this. Not at all. First he was confused, but now he is pissed. This is not going to end well". I thought that came across brilliantly.
DMJ
Full review on my blog, but wanted to chime in on the awfulness of that main event. It feels to me like the strategy they're employing with Cena is to use him to drum up the live gate/viewership, but then, once the tickets are sold and the show has begun, they only want him in cameo roles. His misuse was maybe the most glaring error in a match rife with questionable booking decisions. Speaking of Cena, that sequence he had with Kurt Angle should've raised some red flags backstage. They have history, the fans know the history, and the reactions for their minutes were lesser than for the Nak/Balor sequence, the Nak/HHH sequence, the Cena & Orton/Strowman sequence, the Joe/Cena sequence, and I could go on. The way it was laid out, it seemed apparent that they were expecting the Cena/Angle square-off to get a warm nostalgia buzz from the crowd, but you could hear a mouse fart during those minutes (it didn't help that Cena was working at half-speed to accommodate for Angle). Triple H's facial expressions and Braun Strowman being the sole survivor were great moments...but there are also great moments in Showgirls and Striptease where one can see boobs. Still, I would never re-watch/recommend someone watch the main event to see Triple H showing ass or Braun Strowman kicking it just like I would never re-watch/recommend someone watch Showgirls or Striptease to see boobs. There are just better places to see any of those things if thats what you're into.

Zoo Enthusiast
Angle is really terrible. It was disheartening to hear fans cheering at the idea of him having another match during Raw this week.
SmartMark15
Angle is really terrible. It was disheartening to hear fans cheering at the idea of him having another match during Raw this week. Really one of the worst aspects of that match is how much they exposed Angle. Without the TLC smoke and mirrors, you could really tell the guy is just much slower than he was. That Cena sequence might have been the most glaring portion. DMJ
I don't watch the weekly shows, is the plan to build towards a HHH/Angle match? And if so, will WrestleMania then be 7 hours instead of 6?
FMKK
Someone mentioned on Twitter that Cena was treated like Chris Jericho here. Truly terrible booking to make the biggest star in the match seem like just another guy. I honestly thought they'd brought him back to shoot a Mania angle with Braun but there was nothing. sek69
They brought him back to be ref for Brock-Jinder, and when they changed that they clearly had no other plans for him other than to stick him in the 10 man.
FMKK
Just keep him off the show instead of devaluing him then, even if Smackdown looked far inferior without him on the team

C.S.
IMO, Angle/Cena is a lot more appealing than Angle/H. At least you have the cool callback of Angle being Cena's very first WWE opponent.
Mrzfn
I guess, insofar that a poke in the stomach with a sharp stick is more appealing than one in the eye?
FMKK
At least Cena would be smart/capable enough of carrying him to about as good as he can be But it probably means we would get HHH vs Shane or some bullshit as well

SirEdger
Really looks like we're getting Braun vs Triple H at Wrestlemania. At least, that's my gut feeling.

I think it around the time the Authority was in charge before Sting came in.
