For Nintendo logic I have an interesting one off appearance of fujiwara in ajpw from 1997 teaming with kikuchi to face off against fuchi and Kawada. This is his third ever appearance for Baba and will not appear for ajpw again until after the noah split.

He actually worked 2 tags for Baba in 1996 the year before this,

So he did, I looked it up on cagematch and must of missed the ajpw logo when I first looked it up.

From the previous week Jetlag gave me Casas/Santo (01/12/1995) and I couldn't be happier that he did.

Honestly, I'd go to bat that this is a lost classic. Perhaps not quite in the 5-star affair line but it definitely needs more play within Lucha circles. Every hold is fought hard for and doesn't come easy. Moreover. the match builds to a great climactic finish that incorporates a hot nearfall leading to the victor's exclamation point that they truly were the best that day. Great, great match.

I'll change the match if watching Benoit is a problem.

Thanks, haven't seen this in years and never a bad reason to watch some Austin from that era. Not sure what I'll take from a Benoit match at this point but don't mind sitting through it.

It looks like you've seen a bit of one of my favorite wrestlers over the last few years in Shuji Ishikawa, so I've linked below the latest AJPW Tag Title match. The RWTL version of this from December seemed to get a bit more praise but I was much higher on this and it may very well be my favorite tag match of the last few years. Don't be intimidated by the video length as its in the 20-25 minute range.

I thought the RWTL match wasn't that good due to the first half being pretty mediocre, I agree this time they had a better match

I wrote up the Starr/Invader scaffold match. Good match, but it's def. not the kind of wrestling I love. Not to sound overly conservative, but it's a wrestling match. What the fuck is a scaffold doing there?

you think alot like i do me think bit im alot harsher than you on stupid stuff

My review of Tanaka/Murahama that SPS gave me last week...

http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/25785-minoru-tanaka-vs-takehiro-murahama-njpw-strong-energy-042001/?p=5833894&do=findComment&comment=5833894

Great match. Reminded me of early ROH in the best of ways.

For this week, sir, I'll give you an actual match, and one that happens to be a bit of a personal favorite.

Shingo Takagi vs. YAMATO, Dragon Gate Kobe World Festival, 7/24/16

https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x4lskd5

Finally got to sit and watch this match Laz gave me and I made a new topic in the match discussion archive here for it,

http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/41239-shingo-takagi-vs-yamato-dragon-gate-72416/

So my thoughts were to sum it up,

"Overall this was a very good match and the crowd was into these 2 and they delivered. I knew nothing of YAMATO and little of Dragon Gate and Shingo aside from what i said before from seeing them in ROH over a decade ago now. This was a great treat to watch and a perfect example of why this is fun to participate in as with so much wrestling to see it's always gonna have stuff like this slip through the cracks for folks like me who are just trying to keep up with it all.

I give this match ****1/2 and would highly recommend it to anyone as the story told in the ring is done so well that someone like me who knew little to nothing about these 2 was thoroughly impressed and entertained by such a match."

Thanks Laz for a great recommendation.

Alright for Rah since last time we were paired up I gave Dan Severn vs Tarzan Goto so as a change of pace I'll give something a bit more opposite, Vader vs Ricky Steamboat WCW Worldwide 05/29/93. These 2 had a great series of matches in that era of WCW and this was one I really liked so hope you enjoy.

i Loved this match back then when i was 15 and now when im 38 i still love it matches like this show ot that Greco was the best Us shootist flawless matwork wise as this match was soild trasistion were you cannot see the strings that is key in my eyes of shootstyle match to work pro style covering the strings more easy

00;00-00';52 good agressive start by greco to force and eray rope brake

01;21-02;33 more soild agresison bey greco untill he makes a misatke and iskiakwa get his rope brake back

02;33-04;13 More soild work by greco incuidng a soild appeted rear choke untill ishikawa get him in a front neck vice ths foceing a rope brake

04;14-04;57 first knock down by greco 9 count

04;58- 08;00 good agreesion form ishikawa incding a soild Ippon that the commentory call a fornt suplex and also a NLS by Ishikawa

08;01-11;31 nice attmed Fujiwara bt Ishikawa led to the 3rd brake for Greco the a good collect and srtikes by greco led to KD 2 for ishikawa soild srike action by greco then backdrop drive vsby greco led to rear mount by greco and rear choke for the win for greco

****1/2

Headcheese, I have little idea of what you are into outside of what was on the moty thread. I am giving you Steve Williams Vs keiji mutoh for the triple crown from 2001, a match I was reminded of earlier today by bierschwale. Maybe Steve Williams last great match.http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5udtus

Sorry for being so late

That South African commercial is amazing. There was really creative leg work by Steve Williams and really creative ways tried to avoid the leg attacks.I felt strangely flowed with going back and forth between the leg pain and the big moves. I probably need to see more Keji Muto and Steve Williams to appreciate this.

I think this is a upper solid to good match
