He has all the tools and has proven himself on the mic and in the ring in the past few years. If WWE goes all in on Lashley, WWE will have something really special at the top of the card. Everything that Brock Lesnar isn't. Does anyone know if Lashley/NJPW ever had any conversations? A 2018 Lashley run in NJPW would have been pretty awesome. Quote

One thing I always thought about the Iconic Duo, even in their NXT days, is that Billie Kay dragged the act down a bit, thus hindering Peyton. If Kay - who weirdly got worse compared to her indie days - were to be on the same level as Royce, no doubt the act would be a home run, but it doesn't feel like they can reach absurd highs. The bigger issue, however, is that I don't feel like the material they are getting indicates they are going to be treated any better than the Riott Squad or Absolution. They had a very strong debut, but the following weeks it kind of dwindled away. I hope I am wrong. Quote
