KawadaSmile
Holy fuck one of the opening lines to the Goldberg doc is "I feel like a failure" I cannot believe this company hahahahaha
Matt D
Killed the Curb Stomp too. If you're going to do that, at least put Bray over for the belt so you can build someone to beat him? They have this tendency of having a match on the card where the laws of physics that apply in all the other matches don't apply. Generally it's the Brock matches, but it's always a mistake. hammerva
The WWE is so fucking lucky that AEW main competition doesn't believe in this hokey shit. We can shit on 45 minute main events until we are blue in the face but you would rather have THIS then what NXT is doing

jiraffejustin
If you are going to have Bray kill Seth, why even go through all the bullshit before it? If you want to give us a bullshit finish to not put the belt on Bray, just have him kill Seth and then leave. It's still bullshit, but at least we didn't have to deal with 35 shitty stomps and bullshit melodramatic referee ending a match because of a sledgehammer shot in a match where the whole gimmick is that you can do whatever you want.
Mad Dog
Going to have to check the news tomorrow and see if there are riots after that shitshow.
KawadaSmile
Worst part is that the show, up to that point, was really, really enjoyable. We were talking about how adding more matches would make the event worse, but oh boy, imagine if we only got the original card?
brocklock
I really liked the first two matches on the main show, but that main event is gonna forever taint anything good on this show.
Mad Dog
So Bray got two matches before they fucked his gimmick up?

hammerva
You know when Bryan Alvarez made comments about how people who like Clash of the Champions must have miserable lives and complete losers that pissed me off. If he said that again about that main event, I may have to agree with him.

Mad Dog
I have shit on WWE a lot over the years. But I am just sitting here absolutely shocked at what they did with the main event. You killed your hot act, your world champion, your top gimmick match all in one fell swoop. Who thought that shit was a good idea?
sek69
Apparently the crowd was chanting "refund" after the show went off the air as well.
El Dragon
It’s really gotten to the point with the E if the question we should be asking is if they are too big to actually die. Because good god, it feels like they are dying.
Coffey
I feel bad for Sasha & Becky. They put on a helluva match but now all anyone will remember about this show is that awful main event.

KawadaSmile
Let me be optimistic: based on the reactions Bray got when he kicked out of everything and the kitchen sink, he'll be over and will have that "can't believe they screwed him again, let's rally behind him" mentality to support him. It might make him even more over. On the other hand, the lenghts this company goes to protect Rollins is the most counter-intuitive shit I've seen. AEW tried to push Page, saw it didn't work and pulled the plug as quickly as they could. With this motherfucker not only we had a shitty 8 month reign were he held two belts, but would've held it longer if not for his knee injury. After years and years of pushing him to the top, because Triple H saw something in him, he gets another title run, beating Lesnar TWICE, and also holding two belts. It's unbelievable. Boss Rock
Take a hot character against a failed babyface. Seriously, how do you screw that up?
Mad Dog
I disagree on The Fiend. That finish makes him look like a Dollar Tree Kane and not a potential Undertaker gimmick. You could have done that with him in 6 months to a year but not his second match.
Boss Rock
Anywho, Sasha-Becky was great. Really thought Sasha should've gotten the win here, but Becky is the ace so I get it. The tornado tag was awesome as well.
hammerva
basically everything we said they had to do with Reigns about 2 years ago they have to do with Rollins now. You either put him against guys that fans really hate like Corbin or Lesnar or turn him heel

This is exactly how it felt at last year's Hell in a Cell PPV. It was the 1st live WWE experience where I saw the crowd walk out in silence.

Rollins does the opposite.
