Normally you'd never go wrong assuming the worst about Twitter people but it has been kind of quiet for an AEW crowd.

Cody's mom yelling FUCK YOU to Jericho may be the highlight of the match

Crowds been decent. Pretty flat compared to previous shows.

I love how it can go so many ways. Was MJF concerned about his friend, is he secretly working with Jericho?  Could it be he was concerned about his friend but turns when everyone gets pissed at him for doing what he felt was best?

I only hated how telegraphed the finish was. More than that, I hate the stip because I can't imagine anyone vs Jericho being as hot of a babyface as Cody.

Fuck the post match though. Too soon, we all knew it was coming eventually but I felt they could've dragged it out much longer.

To be fair if you are going to put MJF in a main event heel while he is still rather green in the ring, Cody is the perfect person for it

That match had everything but a ref bump. They had the judges. They had the 60 minute time limit. They had the stipulation of Cody not being able to challenge for the title again if he lost. Top belt on the line. Hager gets ejected. Cody bleeds. And then you get the Dusty finish & the heel turn post match to set-up the upcoming shows.

A lot of bells & whistles, yeah, but it was damn entertaining pro-wrestling.
