MJF throwing in the towel was certainly interesting and the turn expected, so much so that I almost thought it would be Cody turning on MJF for costing him that one apparent title shot. Mind you, I don't mean turning heel, but rather exposing MJF for who he really is. But this worked out pretty well. MoS Posted November 10, 2019 Report Share Posted November 10, 2019 They had not really developed the MJF-Cody relationship on Dynamite, in fact MJF had basically not been featured since the 2nd episode. Perhaps they felt it was pointless to drag it out. MJF on the mic should be absolute gold though, and a blood feud with Cody leading to both a grudge match and a war games match with some new star/rookie joining forces with the Elite would be good. But man, the guy's acting is cheesy as hell, moreso than Moxley's unhinged act.
