Dav'oh Report post Posted June 16 If it all goes to shit, I can see Vince pulling mobster Vincent Gigante's trick and feigning insanity every time he's in public. Or a Lloyd Christmas and pretend to be in a coma for the next 20 years, catheter and all. Can't see Steph, Trips and Shane trying a Weekend at Bernie's with him when he passes, though. strobogo Report post Posted June 16 I think it implies some people in the company thinks some shit is about to go down and sold off stock, which I guess is possibly insider trading

It ain't over 'til it's over ! If Sasha Banks has been released, holy shit. And now, a good old délit d'initié going on with the stocks ? So much crazy shit. I sure hope I don't die from the heatwave in the next two days so that I can see what happens next !

People on the board knew about this Vince situation months ago and should've been aware when the WSJ journal article was going to come out. So it's possible more/other people knew what was coming and that it could hurt the stuck, so they sold before that could happen.

Even if Nick Khan has nothing to do with it, I am ready to call him the GOAT. Owning a family of billionaires like that is great stuff.

sek69 Report post Posted June 16 Well the only part they got wrong is that Dunn isn't a member of the board. He did sell stock after the board was made aware of the Vince stuff and it would be difficult to believe someone in his position didn't get wind of it somehow. sek69 Report post Posted June 16 Y'know it would be very interesting if someone revisited the "Johnny Ace was a sugarbaby for Mrs. Baba" stories that were around back in the day. I remember someone hinting at that once to Dave and he did one of those "I'm not NOT saying that's incorrect" answers.

sek69 Report post Posted June 17 My guess was that he's heard the rumors and probably believes there's enough smoke that there has to be some fire to it, but doesn't have enough to journalistically say so.

But I think this investigation for breach of fiduciary duties could actually be more damning than the Vince allegations, depending on how many directors and officers get caught. sek69 Report post Posted June 17 It was also mentioned in the original Wall Street Journal story that in addition to looking in to the Vince allegations they are also looking at the company culture as well. That could low key turn out to be the biggest deal since you have about a million examples to pull from, like AJ Lee stating in her book that she was told (by someone widely assumed to be Johnny Ace) that while she was very good in the ring she wouldn't get a star push since no one wants to fuck her and that's what's most important. Not to be that guy, but whoever told her that was so out of touch. The quote was something like" Guys want to hang out and play video games with you, but not fuck you." Ummm. What? She was EXACTLY who fans wanted to fuck to be blunt. AJ was and is a smoking hot person who also was a great performer, who was great on the mic. .That's the wrestling fan trifecta of wanting to "fuck her." Bonkers. sek69 Report post Posted June 17 She wasn't Vince's type (blonde with big boobs) so if he doesn't want to fuck you he doesn't think anyone else would either.
El-P Report post Posted June 17 It doesn't matter one bit if she's thought to be "fuckable" or not. The mere fact an official told her that constitutes sexual harassement. We were talking about Wendy Choo the other day, in a show that has mostly been built on the sex-appeal of its quite young women roster, what do you think the argument was about her so she wears that ridiculous outfit ? I really wish we would get a DivaSpeakingOut out of this, although it probably won't happen. 1 hour ago, sek69 said: She wasn't Vince's type (blonde with big boobs) so if he doesn't want to fuck you he doesn't think anyone else would either. After Deeb's promo the other week about "satisfying old pervert", Meltz told the story of how her and ODB used to be the most over women in OVW and how neither got a contract, whereas swimsuit models got signed. Deeb only got a contract after she got a boob job done.
