  1. How do you guys deal with 3 hours of this on a weekly basis. It's just fucking tedious.
  2. Yes, they should matter. It should feel like a guy is moving closer to a title shot with a victory or is falling further away if he loses. That's part of what I enjoy about the UFC. You see that progression when a guy is winning. He slowly climbs that ladder and gets a title shot if he gets 3-5 wins in a row. Then you see those guys that get mired in limbo because they win 2 and lose 1 or you see guys that get released outright because they've lost too many fights in a row. There's a stake to every fight. Hey, this fight is between two fringe contenders but it could be the start of a winning streak for a guy that ends in a title shot so it could be important. The WWE has missed that feeling for a long time and I think it really hurts the product. I think New Japan and NXT have really excelled at making it feel like wins and losses matter.
  3. I went to the Columbus show. Those were the Columbus prices. I think GA was $15 or $20.
  4. The $100 tickets were a VIP meet Ric Flair, Ryback and Big Show before the show. I think my balcony seat cost $36.
  5. World Championship Wrestling is a much more pleasant experience when they fix the ropes and they no longer make that obnoxious sound. Look of talent flooding in during the month of June. The roster looks a lot different than it did in April.
  6. Unfortunately not but that sounds amazing. Is it easy to find? It was on Youtube but appears to be gone. It's the 4/29/14 DDT show. The belt won itself to become the 1000th champion. You can find video of a Japanese girl knocking over the ladder during one of it's reigns and letting her dachshund pin it.
  7. Damn, that Ron Garvin vs. Black Bart match was really good. Easily the best Bart match I've seen.
  8. Have you seen the video where the Hardcore Title belt wins itself and then Jun Akiyama wins it later in the night? That one is a classic.
  9. I love when they bring out the blowup doll. Kenny Omega had a great match with it once. There's also the invisible man.
  10. His match with Mistico in 2005 is probably my favorite match of his.
  11. It's also a week behind if you aren't paying. AAA being on Youtube is better than what RoH currently has. TNA was on Hulu at one point. But it was like months behind and disappeared after about six months.
  12. I'm also a comic book nerd. I don't partake but cosplay is a big deal on that scene. It's not about attention. People like making and planning the costumes. It's about passion. Those people should absolutely be let in because it shows a passion for the product. I don't really see it as that different than the jersey I wear to hockey games. I'm also married so I could go to Raw dressed as Sting and get laid afterwards.
  13. RoH streaming is a joke. It looks like dogshit.
  14. Magnum TA tearing up the suit Flair bought for him was an absolutely brilliant segment. I loved the way Magnum played that with the fake gratitude. Flair's reaction was priceless. This might top Morton breaking Flair's sunglasses for me.
  15. It's not a perfect era but I really loved that 96-97 era of WCW. The booking had glitches but I loved the weekend shows. You just never knew what kind of odd ball matches might happen on any given week. I also loved the variety you might see on a given week. High flying the next minute to a wild brawl the next. I liked how the whole Sting thing played out. The way they built Luger up and paid it off. Sure, they screwed it up at the end of the day but it was a great ride on a weekly basis.
  16. I didn't but it's like a two and a half hour drive to Cleveland and all highway. If you were from Pittsburg it would make a lot of sense to stop for the next show on your way back.
  17. $1500 seems like a really minor slap on the wrist for Dusty Rhodes storming the locker room and attacking Tully Blanchard unprovoked. He also started a complete talent riot. That seems like at least a $5000 fine to me.
  18. An Italian Stallion win!
  19. Is the Saturday morning Georgia show from summer 84 to spring 85 worth the time and effort?
  20. There's a Rodz/Hogan match from January 1985 Championship Wrestling that is an insanely fun match.
  21. Ric Flair vs. Sam Houston was a really fun match on the 5/18/85 World Championship Wrestling. The Flair vs. Magnum face offs have been good stuff every week. The show is really hitting it's stride after a fairly slow first month.
  22. I hate PTW for the most part. You get good matches here and there but you have to sit through way too much garbage. It felt like they had Beefcake vs. Johnny V on a weekly basis for months in 1987.
  23. I disagree on the Vaudevillians. They don't give you amazing matches but they are an extremely sound heel tag team. They do a lot of the small things really well, they know how to get booed and they work a style that fits in with most other styles.

    WWE Regrets

Just the fact Owen is dead. I think he justifies the rest of that in his own head quite easily.
  25. A lot of indies would survive. I think Ring of Honor would be the biggest loser in this. I think PWG would survive off of being a hipster hang out.
