That would ruin the shows. Part of why the live show was so great was the smaller venue. It will lose it's charm of they try to get more than 2000-3000 people for shows.

They were doing the stop start pushes all the way back to Cena showing up though. Actually, I think Cena is the first guy they really pulled that with.

Didn't he admit that he thinks putting HHH over Taz was a mistake in hindsight?

I'll just get them then. I want to watch all the relevant TV.

How essential viewing are those Sunday Edition shows?

I'm in May 1985 right now. Last week Dusty brought that ridiculous gorilla to the studios. Boy was that dumb. The Ric Flair vs. Magnum TA stuff has been really good. I said this last year but I used to hate Jimmy Valiant when I watched him on these shows but this time through I can't get enough of him. The stuff with his vocal cords getting damaged was absolutely great. The promo where Paul Jones was showing off his broken arm was brilliant. I'm also digging the Magnum TA vs. Buddy Landell feud. Did any of their matches make it to tape?

Even at NXT it's interesting how forced everything is. They really push catchphrases and do a lot of stuff to get a certain reaction from the crowd. It was interesting to see Big Show just decide to roll with what the crowd was giving him and realizing guys don't do that much these days.

I kind of wonder if it's to slowly downsize the roster physical size wise and train the fans to get used to the wrestlers being a little smaller in the future.

What about the Killer Bees as a top combo to never win the belts? I'm on the 94 bandwagon. Really shallow division and forgettable teams until Owen and British Bulldog won the belts a few years later.

I got distracted for a long while but getting back to my NWA/WCW watching. I would like to watch from 1985 to the very end but I don't know how feasible that is unless I really develop a good schedule for watching.

I really like how they use O'Reilly and Fish on their shows. Dominate tag team but guys they'll throw out there to have good matches and job to established singles talent. I think it's smart booking, doesn't hurt your champs and gets some good matches out there. My favorite acts so far have been the Briscoes, Silas Young and Romantic Touch. Young seems to work an anti-indy style which is a nice change of pace. Good character, seems to get heat pretty effortlessly and isn't afraid to just get people to hate him. I didn't care for the Briscoes for a long time but it feels like they've evolved the last couple of years. It feels like they work a more big league style of match now with minimal indy stupidity. I like how Mark makes everyone he wrestles look good and how he can work to other people's strengths while leaving his distinct impression on the match from start to finish.

I really loved his U.S. Title run in 1984-1985. Just some great heel promos where he was a total hypocrite in his demands for a shot at the World Title while dismissing Magnum TA as a potential challenger for the belt. It all ended with a pretty good cage match with Magnum TA for the U.S. Title.

As someone who was at the Columbus show, they could absolutely tour with that show. It was a really great live experience and I think everyone that went came away wanting to see more. It was also a really interesting group of people that showed up. A lot of women compared to other smaller shows I went to. I think it would really damage RoH as a brand and might even drive them out of business. I also get the feeling that the people that watch NXT are totally willing to buy into this as something separate from the WWE.

I think when Briscoe won the belt.

I'm about 2 months into the 2014 RoH TV. I'm enjoying it a lot for the most part but the shows are a very polarizing experience for me. I usually find about a match a week that I enjoy but I've fucking hated some of the stuff they've put on the shows. Ciampa/Lethal/Taven and Briscoes vs. Cole/Hardy vs. Elgin/Hero are two matches that I absolute despised. I think multi-man matches are just going to mean trouble on TV.

Steamboat suffered a back injury but I don't recall the specifics. Looking up Brett, he retired after multiple knee injuries.

Digging through RoH 2014 TV. It's a good episode when Silas Young or Romantic Touch show up. The Ciampa/Lethal/Taven match. I watched to slit my wrists watching that. WTF happened to Jay Lethal when he left TNA?

The balcony seating was interesting. My friend and I were at a table in like high bar stools. My back hurts today though. Just as an aside, I saw at least 5 or 6 Bullet Club shirts in the crowd.

I'm not surprised on wrestlers defending him. They seem quite sociopathic when we get a real look behind the curtain like this.

I took one look at the Dayton card and didn't think it was worth spending money on.
