NEW YORK, Aug. 27, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Levi & Korsinsky announces that a class action lawsuit has been commenced in the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut on behalf of investors who purchased World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. ("WWE" or the "Company") (WWE) common stock between October 31, 2013 and May 16, 2014. The complaint alleges that throughout the Class Period defendants violated securities laws by failing to disclose the Company's true ability to command a premium fee in upcoming negotiations to renew its television license agreement. On May 16, 2014, the Company disclosed that it had reached a multiyear deal with NBCUniversal for its television programs Raw and SmackDown, stating that the annual value of its television distribution agreements is expected to reach $200 million, far below investor expectation. On a May 19, 2014 earnings call, Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon stated "We were a little disappointed in our NBCU deal, quite frankly..." If you suffered a loss in WWE you have until September 23, 2014 to request that the Court appoint you as lead plaintiff. Your ability to share in any recovery doesn't require that you serve as a lead plaintiff. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/shareh...5TkvUADCBXNyoA

That's what was mentioned in one of the previews some time ago. Maybe the rest is non-linear stuff about production, individual players behind the scenes, etc, etc?
-
Is it really 20 chapters?

I knew Nash and Hall were going to WCW from the Apter mags, which were sold alongside WWF and WCW's mags all over the country.
-
@MonsoonClassic on Twitter said something about it.
-
What's this I'm hearing of 100 hours of Nitro?

Not surprised he needs new material. -

The way Lawler told it on Austin's podcast was that the next day it was the talk of the city, take it for what that's worth. It looks like Roddy Piper might be on the outs with WWE. He said in a stand-up routine recently that he told Vince off backstage, saying he was a failed concert promoter, a failed bodybuilding promoter and a failed football promoter and that the only business he's ever been successful at was the one his dad handed to him. -

I asked in I think the SummerSlam promo how do you get rid of Brock because eventually (and I think sooner than later) he'll want to quit. Coffey's idea made me think the best thing would be an entire locker-room beatdown not that different from Undertaker at Royal Rumble '94.

Pretty sure he wore it at the first Survivor Series and in his SNME match with Sika from a bit earlier than that.

Someone said on Twitter that Raw has a completely new set tonight.
-
At least they are adding stuff from shows otherwise not on the network I believe.
-
What's even more strange is the comment Monsoon made during the WrestleMania match that "win, lose or draw it's the final time we'll see that particular belt" but Hogan continued to wear it until the following February.

How would you book Lesnar's exit?
-
Those would be good interim feuds to lead up to Mania. What's Bryan's situation with his neck? I'm not sure I want to see Lesnar brutalize him either but if he can recover fully from this it would be a HELL of a story.

Johnny B Badd / Marc Mero... Time to Revisit his Career

It's too bad Mero never had a feud with Piper in WCW. Mero would have been an interesting addition to the NWO, not unlike what happened with Bagwell. -
Exactly why. Otherwise it'd just be another show and I wouldn't mention it at all. When they were doing the guest host thing every week, I'd always hoped they'd get Robin to do it one week.

I know wrestling is in it's own bubble and everything, but I can't help but feel Robin Williams' death will make tonight's Raw feel a little awkward for a lot of people watching it.

It's gotten positive buzz and has already recouped its budget, which was at $100 million (and brought in close to $120 million). You'll see it between 130-150.It wasn't going to be Guardians or Transformers, but I think it's respectable These kinds of movies always seem to recoup their budget, if not here than overseas. Dwayne is definitely a movie star, but he's always kind of hovered just above B-movie status (the big studio films he does wind up doing are either slotted in late summer like this one was, or is a sequel to an established franchise) and hasn't worked with the kind of director or material that knows all of his strengths and can work to them well. I always thought Tony Scott could have done something with him if Denzel ever stopped working with him. -

His basic insinuation that Randy only got the belt because he was over with "the boys" is a bit ludicrous too. He was on his way to eclipsing Hogan in popularity.
