  1. When the final suplex is reversed it automatically becomes a horrible spot. I can't see any argument against this. The guy got a last ounce of strength to reverse the final suplex. If both lay on the ground and sell, it is not a problem.
  2. I would put Axl Rotten ahead of him slightly. I would hate to even touch Mahoney, but I'm not comfortable even standing near Axl.

    Teddy Long

I like that he is working a George Jefferson gimmick in 2012.

I'm glad on Raw they finally acknowledged Laurinitis could kick the shit out of Teddy. If Teddy eats an Ace Crusher, I will lose my shit.
  5. Billy Black
  6. Jericho is good, but he is overrated. I haven't really cared for him since watching his dvd. He put himself over so much it was hard to like him.
  7. Luckily he was and is awesome.
  8. The key to telling them apart is. Sara looks like Michelle was hit in the face with a tire iron.
  9. Hey Mrs.Sting, stop snitching.
  10. When did the mentality start that the celebrity has to win? We are at the point now, the wrestler is the underdog vs a celebrity.
  11. I totally get why Piper hated working with Mr.T. Watch the TV building up to Mania and you see T only had interest in getting himself over as a uber tough guy. So Piper had to put over T as being a big star and potential threat, while still getting himself over as top heel. It looked like pulling teeth. The WM 2 boxing match is really entertaining in hindsight. Seeing Piper embarrass T by blowing him up in the first round and then playing with him til the finish.
  12. He got his brains beat in every time and did not win the Southern Title, or get proven right in the end. Kaufman put Lawler over at every turn, including playing the bitch to him on network television. This was not Snooki walking in, being drunk half the time then pinning someone who dominated the Diva's division for a year.
  13. He had great matches with Christian and Henry. In fact some of Christian's best matches period were against Orton.
  14. Well yes, Orton sucks, but at least he still, you know, wrestles in 2012. Every pay per view match had on PPV in 2012 was no less than good. What is the argument for him sucking? I wold say the same about 2011 also. My argument is he sucks as a babyface, promo, and his angles are usually boring. In ring, he's nothing special in my book. He peaked about four or five years ago as an interesting character. He's kind of like Robin to HHH's Batman when it comes to overrated WWE stars. His promos were great last year. The one before Mania where he said he regretted not punting Punk hard enough to snap his neck in 08. The Punk feud had a really goofd natural build, with Punk wanting revenge for Orton costing him his first World Title. The Christian feud had a good build to it and dealt with Orton being a loose canon. The Henry feud was the best main event program, WWE has did in ages. Orton made the feud by allowing Henry to destroy him. Losing clean twice in a row. Far as I'm concerned he was the WWE MVP for 2011.
  15. Payne had a really good match with Vader before he disappeared in 94.

  17. Going to defend Volkoff here. I'm not going to say he was a great or even very good worker. But he knew his way around the ring and when to do what. He threw a good suplex or two in addition to the backbreaker.
  18. That is a very important point in this. Her offense looked like absolute shit and guys looked terrible selling it like death. There is also the fact she hated to sell for anyone, so her matches ended up shattering the illusion of wrestling. I would like to see them experiment with putting Kharma against men, since everything she does looks great. Plus she is big enough, you can buy her fighting evenly with most men. Or went through with that idea of putting Shantelle Taylor under a mask and pretending to be a man.
  19. A keen eye for observation. The fact that once the Jericho feud ended she was never regularly wrestled men again. That the next title she won was the Women's Title. That she clearly contributed nothing to Eddy's Latino Heat act? Often enough they went to great extremes to make Jericho clearly the heel. Like having him torture Chyna with a hammer on a episode of Smackdown. The fact it did not happen to Jarrett is a testament to the work he did. Also the fact it was a specially crafted feud for Chyna. With Jarrett spending months beating up women.
  20. Becoming massively over and routinely receiving some of the biggest pops of the night counts as "failing"? It's bullshit that the audience won't believe a woman beating up a guy, because they obviously have bought it on many occasions. You obviously missed them booing the shit out of her against Jericho and very quickly shoving her back into the role of glorified valet who occasionally wrestles. She failed as Intercontinental Champion. People did not buy her act at all by herself. She only worked as a sidekick. Her last year she was only over because of Eddy.
  21. The problem would be in how the matches were worked. Take the Sara Del Rey vs Claudio Castagnoli match for example. That match had a terrible psychology to it. Claudio has a huge size difference and it is never acknowledged. She dominates the match from the start and does not use cunning or finesse. She just runs over him like she is Big Van Vader, and that is just bad wrestling. Even a guy like Taz, would work from the bottom when facing a much larger opponent. You could not have Beth Phoenix wrestle Ted Dibiase Jr and have Beth toss around Dibiase like she does other women. It would not work, no matter how well you train the audience. Now Kharma you could mix up with men and have it be credible. But you would have to keep her away from the larger men and acknowledge that she can't fully bulldoze over them. That is the reason long term, that things like Jacqueline in WCW failed and Chyna failed as Intercontinental champion.
  22. Nord had a really fun Worldwide match with Roadblock.
  23. The last thing wrestling needs is to abandon more of the old sports traditions. Most of the current ills in wrestling boil down to some genius saying "Well its not real, so we can do whatever we want."
